In a spring that swept in nothing but frost Breath bating, waiting, no warmth did it bring Lifting spirits stalled with chilling exhaust In a spring that swept in No rays emerge like young sunshine offspring Our patience was low, now seems all but lost Each degree lower with less hope to cling When our page turned, nature over us glossed Like a bird flying south missing a wing Halted we're here when she's ready to sing In a spring that swept in

Yes, the whisper of spring and her delicate touch. I understand completely, the wait. It seems winter's caress lingers lightly. Your thoughts bring a smile. Perhaps that will warm you for a while. :) Brandy
