Independence Day

Come let's celebrate the fourth of July
With baseball, hot dogs, and Mom's apple pie
We're sure to ignite
Fireworks at night
So head on over, we'll light up the sky

Premium Member Furry Friend Lost

My furry friend vanished into the night
Fireworks had her running away in fright
A cursed Fourth Of July
My dog’s lost and I cry
Now heartbroken I search by dawn’s early light

The Fourth of July is almost here, it will be hot but will it be clear? Fireworks made me pee my pants, all wet but I will still dance. Pretty colors do not run in fear.

The once was a group on Fourth of July

Dear, get me a cocktail, ... those fruity ones,
Me with no glasses, ... No miss, errs or runs,

Fourth of July

The fireworks exploding behind our closed eyes,
They come to life with the spark from our lips.
We open our eyes and sway back and forth,
Looking at each other as if we will be there forever.
We pull in close and embrace.

Bouquet

Golden moonflower
Rising in your periwinkle sky
As chrysanthemums bloom and die
In bursts of sparkling showers

You shake your head and sigh
Watching into the wee hours
With all your silent, godly powers
As we ignite July.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July..

Dead bodies, a cry
People must come back home soon…
Enough with the war!

To all of those brave men who will never be home to celebrate our Independence
day this weekend, and the years to come!

Thoubert!

Premium Member Bringing in Fireworks After Dark

fourth of July T-rex was carrying fireworks for the park
They would all be lit in a specific order after it got dark
People were seated on blankets, whispering about this lark.
Luckily, they did not see T-rex, as the park was so dark.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July

For the entire office
a death like his
coming as it has
the day before
the weekend of the Fourth
complicates the holiday
for everyone.
It makes things difficult
for all: the wake,
the other matters.

It was so like you to choose a day
marked on the calendar in red,
as if we needed a reminder
of those hot tears that we shed
in that time now half a lifetime gone.
The calendar still makes me cry,
as it reminds me of the sadness on
your last Fourth of July.

Loving You

Author Dana Redricks
August 1, 2017

Loving you is like a dream that came true
Loving you is like living a life in fantasy
My love for you make me feel at ease
Like a cool summer breeze,
And like fourth of July
you really set my heart on fire
You are my one true desire
