Look, urgent!
what stupendous news...!
the poetry
invaded
the Earth...
We will have opened at last,
The Kingdom of Poetry... !

Your phoenix tattoo
Etched in inks, black, red and blue.
Firebird for Firebrand.
Risen, emancipated,
Unshackled from broken love.
I have anxiety
I can't sit quietly
Inside my brain
Cause part of it is fried
And part of me has died
I said "I'm fine" I lied
I am in pain
A stench of gunpowder
threads that frayed yet never broke
A dove bows its head
There is no debate,
what we celebrate.
Formation of the state,
never racial hate.
Former colony,
freed from monarchy.
Honoring liberty,
not inhumanity.
Every treaty they make
makes to cheat me
to
dislocate me
from my
territory
and on the plains
it is so plain to see
that a treaty's not
worth
diddly squat.
Come let's celebrate the fourth of July
With baseball, hot dogs, and Mom's apple pie
We're sure to ignite
Fireworks at night
So head on over, we'll light up the sky
harboring ‘midst statue’s torch
liberty sails in July
flamboyant holiday stars
fireworks holiday
sail boats in new york harbor
free to celebrate
Great
nation
celebrates
Independence

THIS DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
ON THIS DAY, MANY MANY PRAYERS
ON THIS DAY OF JULY THE 4TH
WORDS TO SAY THIS DAY.
YEARS AND YEARS
SOME TEARS AND TEARS
JULY THE 4TH
THINGS WENT FORTH.
Independence Day
grilled hamburgers and hot dogs
marching band parades
riding the roller coaster
fireworks in the clear night sky

Haiku:
- one-month smart chick
awe-some learner - hen stolen -
slept up tree last night
Independence day
Of India today floats
In the wings of clouds
Sixty nine years have passed since
Caged birds still in your moist eyes

old Betsy ross once fashioned a flag
from freedom's blood -n- crates of tea bags
the radical right snatched its meaning
the radical left branded it demeaning
now Betsy has stars stuffed up her a ss
Bright displays color the night sky
echoes thunder in lands nearby.
Kids make plans to hang with small fries.
summer is for play.
Hold hands looking into her eyes.
Independence Day.
I am anonymous
Inhabiting shadows
In between covert cracks
Inverse morality
Inside toxicity
Insane infinity
I am one of many

On Independence Day at dusk, the sky I’ll view.
The waxing gibbous moon will be a joy to see.
Then I’ll be thrilled by fireworks of red, white, and blue,
reminding me of where I am and why I’m free.
Its the memories that never show
Yes, the ones we are afraid to know
Those are what we thank you for
Not the fighting not the war
For what you hide is what we fear
Be proud Hero for you are still here.
