Red Sun

Patriots' Heaven

the red sun glows through white streaks
of clouds on a blue canvas -
a happy fourth of July
written on dawn’s sky

Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddy sang in all the 30s musicals - Blossom Time, The Desert Song, May Time,Rose Marie, Bittersweet and on and on.
