Oh pardon me
I don’t know

But the

At home
We’re protected
With a fire

Why Won'T She Talk
Why won't my baby
crawl?... Why isn't she standing?
Why?... Why won't she talk?...
Why isn't she walking yet?
~ At 92 will it matter?...

No Title, Yet - 92
As I spread my wings and begin to fly,
I look back on my life and wonder why.
Why have I changed into what I am now?
I want the answers to the why and how....

Empty Jars
Empty things-
Empty rooms-filled with things-
Empty vases-empty jars
Empty seats-
Cupboards that are bare-
Corridors-in my mind-
Long and narrow-alone I stare-
Vacant land -
You once – were there!

Golf At 92
Just paid a visit to my 92 year old bother-in-law
Tells me he's still playing golf, now that's the last straw
Surely one-of-a-kind
Mind boggling I find
Won't tell me his secret, Mr. Smarty Pants... pshaw!...

Common Ancestry
We share 98% of our genes with chimpanzees,
92% with mice, 44% with fruit flies and 26% with yeast.
We also share 18% of our genes with weeds.
This proves without a doubt scientifically
that all life here on earth share a common ancestry....

Keep On A-Chuckling
We're off on a joyous and exciting adventure today
Visiting our aging relatives, hoping all's well we pray
At 89 and 92, all of life's a gamble
But survive they have, a great example
How we can meet each challenge and still chuckle away...

Love Sory Pt 9 (Only 92 More To Go)
What's my love to you?
Am I just another guy coming from New Jersey?
News flash, we're both from New Jersey.
Two different people coming together can make a giant sound wave.
Lets come together and make our own fairy tale.
You and I can stop falling now. It was all a dream....

Naked
I sit here,
oblivious to worldly obstacles,
surrounded by air, and air alone,
presenting myself to G-d
as only He can see me,
Unashamed, uninhibited,
to partake in endeavors
that others flee for free,
observing subtleties that
can only be seen,
through the eyes of
a naked man.

Vbt Practice 92 of 112
Both at the beginning of a sneeze
As also the end when we are at ease
Are moments poignant
Wherein disappears our identity element
In both fear & desire
Which has us afire
We vaporise in the continuum
Devoid of ego residuum
Who is the experiencer
Who does savour
Each life flavour
Go there!

Who Will Feed First
Who will feed first I wonder
As vultures fly in, surrounding the carcass.
I begin to count them. 45, 46, 47…..92.
I lose count at 93, but do not feel like starting over.
The biggest birds feed first
Because they had the strength to rip the animal open.
It was something I could no longer bear to watch.
So much for the Discovery Channel....

Life
Living is something we take for granted,
in a moment it can fade away;
fleeting is our very existence,
every tick of the clock is a precious gift.

Somewhere, Under the Rainbow
The ghost of Judy Garland
Is visible at night:
Amphetamine-white phantom
Floats through the moon-mist light.
The Emerald City’s toppled,
The yellow bricks are dust,
And Dorothy’s dead in Kansas;
Tin Woodman’s gone to rust.
The ghost of Judy Garland is audible as well—
New York, New York’s her kind of town—
Manhattan-angel’s Hell.

Fred is always Ready for Fisticuffs
Fred is always ready for fisticuffs
Any excuse to get even for sighs and huffs
Has bruised many knuckles to prove this to you
Daily has at least one fight, and sometimes two.
Jailed in ’92 when his best friend was dead.
We were not sure it was even good ole Fred
Could not prove it was him, I guess.
Used to get beaten up regularly by his sister Tess....
