Why Won'T She Talk

Why won't my baby crawl?... Why isn't she standing? Why?... Why won't she talk?... Why isn't she walking yet? ~ At 92 will it matter?

I've heard it said that parents spend the first year wanting their babies to walk and talk... and much of the rest of their childhood wanting them to sit down and shut up :D Nice write from your wise pen.

Great comment, P.S. A shame that it's true, however. Best wishes, Gershon

It does not even matter at two. Comparing children is like comparing elephants to bananas.

Hi Gershon, Every child is different. They do all these things when they are ready. I agree, in the end it really doesn't matter. I enjoyed the read:-) Alexis

Oh, exactly right: Kids read when they're ready; they write when they're ready...Everything at its 'appointed time.' Best wishes, Gershon

Hello, Gershon, is this a write that is really true. How old is your baby? No, it will not make a different at 92. Hugs Eve ~`*

Right. No difference at all by age 92! Thanks for the comment, Eve.

Exactly, Line. It probably won't make a difference when she's 92. Then again,... LOL. Thanks! ~ gw

Smart! My Daddy used to say "In a hundred years it will never make a difference." He'd be 117, and he did make a difference, and is remembered.

There you go: In 100 years it'll all be one big moot point! (--except when it comes to one's parents, of course). Best wishes, Gershon

Exactly right, Barbara. Everything in its time, and a time for everything (as Ecclesiastes might have opined). Best wishes, Gershon
