Tonight, I'm not doing well.
My mind is in a bad place.
It's forcing me to withdraw.
I'm trying to find some space.
This has already gotten bad
And it keeps on getting worse.
Why do I have this burden
Of having to deal with this curse?
I feel something around me
It has me constricted
The outcome of these
Can never be depicted.
I'm here all by myself
I have to be by design
Nobody can see me like this
I want them thinking I'm fine.
My body keeps growing tense
My muscles are getting tight
As this depression grabs ahold
I no longer see the light.

See the light
Be the the light
Feel the light
Inside
You can glow
You can flow
You can reach
Everything
Know your power
Own your power
Make a difference
Today
Embrace the grace
Embrace the colours
Embrace your path
Always

I see the light.
Not a place where heaven is there
Or a place where I meet my maker.
I see the light.
A place where the world is fair
A place where equality is everywhere.
I see the light.
WHEN WE FINALLY SEE THE LIGHT
People of Earth are totally amazing
The ingenuity of the human mind
Ain't no animal in this whole wide world
As unique, we're one of a kind
Pride in the achievements of all of us peeps
We'll soon be travelling to the stars
Making regular excursions back and forth
Meeting little green men on Mars
A bright new future and a brand new start
Maybe this time we'll get it right
Love and friendship throughout the lands
When we finally see the light
Must sound strange, somewhat delusional
But believe me it just has to be
The alternative is totally unacceptable
To survive we all must be free
It's totally amazing how far we've come
Since man first began to dream
A time of peace lies just round the corner
When happiness reigns supreme
''O' I see the light, I see the light. Oh, thank God --I see the light.''
Keep your hope alive
to see the light.

. THEN TO GOD BE THE GLORY I SEE THE LIGHT
If you felt inspired by something I write
And you see my light
Then to God be the glory!
If you think I'm above
You only but I'm not..
Everywhere AM I and I'm love
He my God certainly is worthy of all praise
And is worthy of our best poems, songs and lives
Consecrated to His service..
I channel inspirational verses
As a veteran embattled purpose
I feel inspired by something I write
And you see you Lord in my light
Then to God be the glory, I see the light
If you let God be your glory, you to can see the light

N-ow that you see the light,
I-dentify the wrong way;
M-ay you make no mistake,
F-ree from being
A-stray.
D-awn has just broken,
A-s the sun starts to rise;
N-ight shadows disappear,
C-lear clouds please your eyes.
E-arly twelfth of October, bright beacon sets things aright;
L-et the dark finally fade, now that you see the light.
When we’re born, it’s then we see the Light
After travelling squashed and so malformed
Through a tunnel like those fairground frights
With no-one else to keep us well informed
No bus stop,no rail station,no train track
There’s only one direction, which is out
The walls themselves gyrate behind our back
Some are struck and stuck by fearsome doubt
The head is squeezed, the brain protests with fear
The body’s like a fish stuck in a spout
Here there are no fall back engineers
No drain inspector, plumber to call out.
Yet by luck or fortune most emerge
To light a-dazzle and to love amazed
What happens when you close your eyes
Captivated by the moonlight rise
It must run
It can't hide
No one on it's side
When Darkness See The Light
Where you going to hide
When the light shines in your eyes
It must run
It can't hide
No one on it's side
When Darkness See The Light
moon light shines
but not as bright as the sun
so I open my closed eyes
I must run
I can't hide
I'm one on it's side

A-s the sun begins to rise,
S-weeping the gray and blue;
H-e shines the wide skyline,
L-etting the black stay away from
Y-ou.
B-eneath the pure, white clouds
L-onely twilight fades away;
A-nother new dawn has broken,
N-ovember twenty-first day.
C-old chill has disappeared into the dark of night;
O-ne beacon warms your heart for you to see the light.
D-ecember sixth daybreak
A-ims to meet the dawn;
I-n rising up from slumber,
S-unlight stops the
Y-awn.
C-herish the morning rays,
U-nder the beacon burning bright;
D-ark shadows disappear,
A-s your eyes see the
L-ight.
S-ee the light of day,
H-ave your eyes on shine;
A-nother dark has turned
I-nto brightness in your way.
L-ight of day shall be seen,
E-yes of you shall behold;
E-arly fourth October morn warms the chill so cold.
C-ome see the light of day
U-nderneath the wide sky;
A-llow the sun to show up,
D-enying the long night cry.
R-ise up from the bed, close your eyes and pray;
A-sk the Lord for love to see the light of day.
IT TAKES TIME TO SEE THE LIGHT
Death is best taught in the dark
Fetching sticks, setting sparks
Its bag of tricks: sickness and hope
A black curtain vanishes
The magician leaves you with a moonless night
A lonely night without stars
And you work to locate those sparkling crystals
And place them one at a time back in the sky
But tears fall like glass, resetting the progress
You need to accept the inevitable
But no one can do the Impossible
So cling to the possible
Surround yourself with an armloads of friends
Let them take turns dabbing your mascara
As their handkerchiefs turn from white to black
One day you’ll find the moon back in its place
You will wonder how long you missed it

As long as I can see the light
I know that the sun will end the night,
I know that a paradise waits for me
If at the end of a tunnel light I can see.
Oh, the night is long and the wind is blowing cold,
Relentless time speeds from young to old
But I’m determined to keep hope shining bright
And this will provide me with my inner light.
So in the darkness I stretch out a trembling hand,
Reaching out for someone to understand
That tonight I feel alone and in need of a friend,
I’m praying I don’t weaken, I’m praying I don’t bend.
I can feel a warmth start as my light begins to glow,
Answers to my many questions I don’t yet know,
There’s no map to guide me and no route planned
But I’m sure the Lord reached out and touched my hand
As long as I can see the light
I know that the sun will end the night,
I know that a paradise waits for me
If at the end of a tunnel light I can see.
