Just a newly written spontaneous write.

As long as I can see the light I know that the sun will end the night, I know that a paradise waits for me If at the end of a tunnel light I can see. Oh, the night is long and the wind is blowing cold, Relentless time speeds from young to old But I’m determined to keep hope shining bright And this will provide me with my inner light. So in the darkness I stretch out a trembling hand, Reaching out for someone to understand That tonight I feel alone and in need of a friend, I’m praying I don’t weaken, I’m praying I don’t bend. I can feel a warmth start as my light begins to glow, Answers to my many questions I don’t yet know, There’s no map to guide me and no route planned But I’m sure the Lord reached out and touched my hand As long as I can see the light I know that the sun will end the night, I know that a paradise waits for me If at the end of a tunnel light I can see.
