Premium MemberFALLING LIGHT

You shouldn't know the colour of falling light
As it descends into the abyss of passion.
When limbs intertwine in sweet complete delight
And the thin skin wraps the fiery flesh
In the soothing caress of the conductor's hand
Cris crossing and cutting the air afresh
With his smooth effervescent and pulsating baton.
You shouldn't know the colour of his seduction,
His ragged jagged downward pointing chin,
The tangled mangled wilderness of his beard,
The forceful resourcefulness of his kisses,
The colours of that fascinating rude tattoo.
The feeling of injection and quick retraction,
You shouldn't know the colour of his flame,
Or the sound of his intoxicating and secret name
You must somehow savour with hungry lust.
Eyes rolling back as you inevitably fall
It is all some God almighty magnetic rich taboo.
His name, his eyes, the things you will recall
In the lonely moments of night time longing,
When you know it was all a dreadful act of wronging
That must be forever pushed aside, inside, denied,
Far away from the colour of the falling light.

Premium MemberEnjamblment, Gathering and Forging

Of the evidence -
Oh the preponderance of tabulated facts
If for not the days accumulated notes
Might the proceedings be held of lack

Perhaps a pensive notion
Deep within the womb
Leading to retraction before the ultimate impact
Spreading a distant plume

A scavenger of such
Gathering and forging on
To find a key of existence
To find the truth in this mysterious life

I weigh all that was ingested
A judge and jury perhaps
Searching for knowledge and wisdom
A book
Of life itself

Just “Kiddin”
Miracle man
10/26/2024

Any story travels fast,
in a three dog town.
Moments from inception,
it will move crosstown.

Once a close group,
now fragmented friends.
Each waiting on the other,
to make amends.

It shouldn’t take much,
just issue a retraction.
For what began as a joke
got an overreaction.

Ecofeminism

Fiji, the land of blue lagoons,
with ancient wisdom still in blooms.
It burns with a sacred flame,
With our women's game.

From the mountains of Nausori Highlands,
To the shores of the islands,
Fijian women stand tall and strong,
To protect and right all that was wrong.

They once believed that Earth and women are entwined,
Alas, that thought long resigned.
Until she saw her grieving,
Such deep sighs, please listen to her pleading.

Finally, they rise to show the way,
To heal the Earth before we have to pay.
Raising awareness to direct action,
Fijian women, calling for retraction.

Together, we'll create a world anew,
Where Earth and women are protected through.
Where we sing praises to appreciate,
For all beings to live in harmony, wouldn’t that be great?

Premium MemberPresentation Is Everything

Some say presentation is everything and more
That’s certainly important if selling is your game
I learned that while managing a piano store.

Sponsoring concerts with musicians of fame,
Selling the idea that a buyer can learn how to play
That’s certainly important if selling is your game.

We demonstrated easy piano tunes every day
Teaching buyers simple tunes anyone can learn
Selling the idea that a buyer can learn how to play.

And it is true, anyone can memorize a pattern,
Playing an uncomplicated melody with satisfaction
Teaching buyers simple tunes anyone can learn.

To say anyone can play well merits a retraction
For only the truly gifted can learn to play well
Playing an uncomplicated melody with satisfaction.

Playing a few simple ditties is certainly swell
Some say presentation is everything and more
For only the truly gifted can learn to play well
I learned that while managing a piano store.

A Razor Reflects

Razored shards
Sharp metal gleam white covered in silvery chrome

hard long mean a razor blade brilliant and keen

Reflexive in thought slashing through fresh
It flashes a brilliant spark,
tracing arcs through the nightmares air

A twist of flash, digging of marrow
blade slides home
divides the meat from the bone
bring the crimson to heat

A razor reflects in seconds of fate an image flash feeling the aftermath

A Great refraction
Recollection is a collection of desolate images
strewn across lost boulevards,
as homes burn
discarded cars churn

the blade is cold hard long razored Keen

Reaction retraction of sight
the nano fire tracks the hard light
glancing off chrome brilliant, a spark

the division of flesh pouring
of crimson heat awash all in red

Razored shards of sharp metal
sliver gleam covered in bright chrome keen

Flesh

Twist of Flesh
Turn of Soul
I pay them all with tokens of Gold
Skin different form within
To except my odd facade
Many turn an eye
Push me aside
Dimensions of flesh
Do not desire
My mind comprises
Twist of flesh
Turning old
Payes with cold
notes from my Pain
I want nothing to gain
But, respect from above
And a little love
Judgment for action
I fear your retraction
Pay no interest in me
See... twist of flesh
Turn to dust
I gave away my passion like gold
For you to look at me
And see my soul.

Premium MemberThe News Was Wrong

The news was wrong
But no one knows that
People are spreading the rumor
That was started on the news
One hundred children in a school had been exposed to Covid19
The news reported that one hundred children in this school
have Covid19
A retraction will never be able to stop this landslide of rumors

Premium MemberLuscious Librarian Lifting Lemons

Luscious librarian in lingerie lifting lemons on her laceration
Curiously classified texts are deemed completely conniving with affirmation.
Euphoric ergonomics easing established efficiency expert’s excitement.
Reluctant research rabbit is reminiscing about respectable replacement.
Culpable coalition is curiously creative yet cautious.
Tinkering tattle tales trust readily researched missives as responsible
Dramatic assessment of library’s assets leads to rebate of raspberry series.
Librarian’s granite faced boss demands retraction from newspaper
After news story of luscious lingerie-loving librarian living in library breaks.

Premium MemberI Object

The years slowly crept by
 looking back it came fast
I did not realize that time
can move that fast
to leave us wondering
in a daze pondering
where did it go.
Each day seems faster
each night a blur
children grew
grandchildren too
who was to know
age would start to show
in reflection
--- voicing a rejection
want a retraction
a age reduction
on the close
of another year.

When Stones Wake Up To Walk

(if only they could float)

And when the day wakes up from slumber
Sleep pushed on by memory of angry waves
Crashed over surfaces overcome by age
Forced to acknowledge shadows in the shallows
Tides remember every stone laid down in sand
Down to their souls as smooth as glass as clean

Rocks come alive at sunrise jagged black
Foaming at the mouth of beach retraction
Shores recede with seagulls laughing
Sandbanks fill up their limits to the dunes

Screeching noise through hollow shells come forth
Hovers over lands as loud as something manufactured
But only nature makes such sounds
Seaweed simply dangles there in deeper green
Like ugly mops forgotten how to clean the seas

And when the day begins to think of stones
Where waves lap happily over time with tides
Rocks and stones can’t lick themselves you know
When they wake up to take a walk

How they watch the curvature of the Earth together
Wishing they too could step away in style
But sadly stones have no feet or legs to speak of
And nowhere to go this time of day

Confusion

Have You ever felt so isolated you die inside yet face it as you reach out to places mates stood now just spaces and your cries echo far and wide empty scenes fill your eyes still you fight for your pride even though you know you’ll slide to an inevitable defeat still off your backside you compete and never hide with every interaction there’s a sinking down reaction all you can do is act strong with will in retraction and not through negativity but just too much activity wearing you to shreds no reflecting no relaxing your head hectic and collapsing the pressure gets the better and you wonder what’s happening

Premium MemberHappiness Within

People say I never smile
My enthusiasm is rather mild
Stoic is my style

Mister gray and gloomy
Somewhat blue and moody
But I answer phooey

Don't judge a book by its cover
turn the pages
Who knows what there is to discover
True joy resides inside
Happiness within my friend
Happiness within my friend

Being silly is not my way
Seriousness
doesn't mean Johnny never plays
A false smile chills all hearts
Forced joy makes all depart
Goofy action leads to retraction
Just be yourself for joyful satisfaction

Friends and family know
I may not look like a Happy Ole Joe
But happiness within
Begins with a slight grin
And when I smile
It's always worthwhile

Premium MemberCranberry

CRANBERRY

Round like grapes
The size of marbles
Red like many cherries
And nearly smooth like apples
The darling little things teamed with
Citrus make some very nice muffins
And loaves of bread with neither a hint of thread
from even a blanket nor yarn from the barn

They came so far from a land called Cranberry
a world many moons away in the vast distance
and here they stay where they have appreciation
and give satisfaction without retraction- nobody can
  honestly jeer a little cranberry!

Premium MemberPerception Deception

With the task of introspection
Hopes of no deception
Of your own perception
You won the election
With no exception
Must be a tactician
Put it to action
Hopes of a good reaction
No retraction
