Remember Me
Remember me when I am not there
I ask this please
That you do really care
If you should do so
I’d be ever so grateful
'cause I have been low
And ever so hateful
This is not who I am
I know you realize that
My life has been a sham
Trapping me like a rat
I need to be whole
I need to be sane
I can’t reach my goal
It just withers in vain
But when you do remember me
With kindness in your heart
You really do see
And it helps me make a new start
So thank you for being there
You have been so kind
I shall have no more fear
You have helped me unwind
