Up on the sliding hill in the atmospheric river rain,
Captivating eyes of beauty, smile to me again.

Eyes full of rainy deluge, drenching in cold, over heart’s fire,
Like greening of balding hills, rekindle my waning desire.

Like the little birds over tall trees, swinging in wind, take flight,
Even though the rain falls like avalanche with full might.

Pre spring sprouting daffodils and tulips get run over by windy rain,
Yet they rise again and again, like my thoughts of seeing you again.

Who would not love you, seeing you move,
Warm-eyed and beautiful through the green alpine grove.

Let the rain drench you, flow thru your hair,
My love will rise like phoenix, and embrace you there.

Laugh if my cheek is misty and drips,
Wetness is tender, laugh on my lips.

The happy sweet laughter of love with pain,
Rekindled love, the strong love, burning in the rain.

Love Again

In the galaxy of regret and longing,
A wish called smiling love.
Time passes, I have stretched out my hands
To restore the bond from separation.

Rekindled

Making love to my memory
each tryst redefined
 Perfection recaptured
reenvisioned sublime
Forever unwavering
all pain reconceived
The future rekindled
—my heart’s reverie

How dreams of our youth now tiptoe
Alluring endearment memories impart
Enthralled in ardent past still aglow
How dreams of our youth now tiptoe
Rekindling passions thwarted long ago
Enamored in rhythms of your heart
How dreams of our youth now tiptoe
Alluring endearment memories impart

Hope has no direction when the deed has spoken its flower's doom
Set free from truths rejection to help our hearts reform
But ever so quietly reminiscent of the roses constant bloom
My heart still feels those times spent in the warmth reborn

Premium MemberA Love Rekindled

Ocean waves softly crashing under the moonlight
Spoken whispers as we walk hand in hand along the shore
Motion of the waves crashing is hypnotic and refreshing
Emotion expressed by your gestures leave me wanting more

Lips kissing, teasing me with your intoxicating woodsy scent
Clips of passion playing in my mind, trying to stay in control
Fingertips touching, exploring wanting to caress even more
Trips alone with you again, make me happy, warm my soul

Enjoying euphoria, resting my head on your chest, relaxing
Toying with having to leave soon and ending our romantic night
Annoying having to rush back home and still keep us a secret
Avoiding consequences of our forbidden love, it feels so right

Now we are so good together after all the tumultuous years
How we ended up together again is a nice surprise to us both
Vow to commit to each other and not let others meddle again
Allow us soon to be exposed when we announce our marriage oath

Premium MemberLove Expressed Is Love Rekindled

Love needs to be expressed in many forms, many ways, all the time.
Inaction, silence and neglect are love killers.
Love like a flower, needs to be nurtured and cared for.
The written word is a powerful mode of expression.
But the love letter has become a thing of the past.
However, the digital age heralds many new ways of expressing your love in words.
Don't just say the words, write them down and send them to express your love.

My heart bursts with love for you.
I fall in love with you over and over again.
Our immortal love is too short, an epic.
If you ask why I love you set aside days to listen.
To have you near to me is all I ask.
I will never find another, even a little bit like you.
Love's gravity and tug always pulls me towards you.
My most cherished moment is the minute, hour and day that I met you.
I can't stop smiling whenever a think of you.
My heart feels empty when I'm away from you.
Love begets love in buckets.
It was love at first sight, second, third, fourth, fifth sight and every sight thereafter the same
I always feel unworthy to love you.

Rekindled Love

Love and second chances
They noticed each other’s alluring glances
So they decided to advance
To this place called romance

Will love strike again, probably not
But they agreed to be friends
While they both were hot

Love is like lightening
One bolt and you’re down
If it strikes again you won’t be
In the same place to be found

Even if their minds tell them there’s a possibility
A rekindled love is often seen as instability
Sometimes doubt and sometimes hostility

So they weighted their feelings on a scale
He said they should take it slow as a snail
She said she felt it would be like a fox
Chasing its tail

So they departed and went their separate ways
He exhaled
She flipped her ponytail
And they never used their rear view mirrors to look back at yesterdays

True Love - Rekindled

My darling wife, I love you so much.
I miss your warm and gentle touch.
Why is it that we no longer talk?
Or underneath the moonlight - take a walk?

My loving husband I hold you so dear.
You've noticed also that we're not near.
What is it that is out of place?
That's brought between us - so much space?

My wife whose beautiful to behold.
What secrets to me - you haven't told?
We've been together for so long.
Yet you won't tell me - what is wrong?

My husband whose strength is beyond measure.
You've always been my greatest treasure!
Let's sit down together and work this out.
I still love you dearly - in this don't doubt!

My wife I agree let's no longer fight.
It no longer matters who's wrong or right!
Let's remain forever at each other's side.
Where in our hearts True Love does abide!

A Rekindled Memory

I stand amid the flowers of a time gone by
I search my thoughts, not wanting to cry
Haunted by a memory so tender and sore
I still my heart as my knees begin to shake more

Her pretty smile is but a distant flavor gone sour
Maybe if I banish these memories ever more
My healing would know comfort and peace
Yet, somehow the graceful love would cease

Gentle raindrops begin to fall upon a cloudy head
I search to no end for shelter to relinquish my dread
A haven somewhere that I may find her again
Her captivating beauty in my heart my only friend

As I walk slowly away from the small mound
My desperate tears flow unleashed to the soft ground
I awaken dying strength to put her locket upon the stone
I look up to see the rain was gone, I am still alone

Rekindled Flame

Regrets
                                               True love usurped
                                           Snuffed out like a candle
                                   Deathbed meeting, rekindled flame
                                 Unrested spirits’ midnight rendezvous
Searching for love once thrown away
                                         Foolish mistakes and pride
                                              Lives spent apart
                                                      Regrets

Rekindled Passion

reduced
to glowing coals,
embers smolder
waiting for some bright spark
to rekindle an old flame's
liveliness

brilliant
fervid blazes
emanate with
radiant waves of warmth,
only the sun could compare
to such zest

Love Rekindled

Lovers each parted their ways,
Tears cause misty sprays.
Colder grew them both,
Love amid them was now an old growth.

Lovers wear on their poignant face a pair of abysmal drenched brows,
Each parted brow one crumpled, other rumpled as twinge, sonorous it grows.
Their ways parted but for scores to come both would grieve,
Tears to obscure make believe a poker face for all to deceive.

Cause misty sprays now quench and quell the fervent fires of the raving heart,
Colder grew to icier but a dim flame of passion lies to be kindled although apart.
Them both a score later brought face to face by fate or fortune to meet,
Love amid them, wedged, now flickered and glinted, sneering smiles as they greet.

Was now at hand frozen silence and two tear blubbering faces,
An old growth of love renascence and regenerates.
Now the feelings cold erase and hate displace,
To make way for their searching love to take them to a higher place.

To melt intrepidly into each other’s arms and embrace,
Depose and oust with grace the long worn mask of the poker face.
