All was well with us till we went to church,
where we were told that we had sinned,
that we must atone so as to be saved,
a verdict that left us chagrined.
Temples and mosques too offered no solace,
each but a control mechanism,
within which parables are constructed,
designed to trap us in that ism.
Somewhere in all scriptures the plot is lost,
being God realisation,
instead of which we are to join a cult,
demanding our soul’s prostration.
Noticing all paths lead to a dead end,
we chose to befriend the vast void,
dissolving our mind in time stretched silence,
reclaiming heart’s light unalloyed.
The truth is within, not somewhere out there,
immediate and intimate,
to which end, simply melding head with heart,
we birth bliss that does not abate.
What religions conceal, we now reveal,
as our origins we retrace,
when heart is pure and eye becomes single,
we see God clearly face to face.
Some are called to preach or teach
Others, those in need they reach.
A few, great eloquence of speech,
One, is holy, none can breach.
Some are called to full surrender
Others, sacrifice is rendered.
A few, a costly price is tendered
One, to me, gives love its splendor.
Some are called to lead a nation
Others, serve a single station.
A few, know God in low prostration
One, gives mercy full translation.
Some are called to fatherhood
Others, to a common good.
A few, His grace is understood
One, fulfills as none else could.
Some skim the fringe of sacrifice
Others, feel the edges slice.
A few, the severance of a life
One, for you, paid sin's price.
Prayer is a light
To hearts it is quiet
Hidden inside joys varied
The most sincere servitude
To chests gives cure
To rest for a soul
A drink as a holy water
A seperation between evil and good
Salat is soul's meal
Faithful's meeting with Allah
Holy Throne's cipher
Sky's gates password is salat
With that servant raises to holy God
Prayers reach to house of Lord
Angels get down from welkin when Quran readed
Universe gets silent and listens with all heart
Now let you pray, you too five times a day
Without compulsion and laziness do it by pride
At the judgement day your scales full of good deed
At the recitation and prostration unite with the Almighty God (Allah)
The Christ descended from His Father’s throne;
In dying on the cross, He conquered Hell.
Then He rolled away His sepulchral stone;
The sting of death would no longer prevail.
A glorious word of good news to tell!
His disciples worshipped in prostration
As they prepared in humble elation
To spread news of the resurrected King
Who paid the price of mankind’s salvation;
A new song all of creation will sing!
Recently, I requested my former husband,
regarding compassion and compassionate health care only...
As, my HIPPA compliance never got far enough.
To save me before hip and prostration, as a Wahabi or Shafi'i
I needed permission to leave the classroom.
had to happen in a lobby or a darkroom spot.
Blind, rear, spot and spotting.
all these words are intricate, triggering and
possibly extenuatingly sensual
Where someone, even I
will feel that the deceased mother-in-law
is talking even in rumination.
to a health care professional of health care compassionate
Third party enough.

A host of lilac roses floated
On the air.
A consuming fragrance
This lilac affair
The betterment of rose
Confusion
This lilac spring everyone's
In love
All lovers made blanket precautions
So as to have picnic prostration
Daffodils Carnations and lilac
Roses surrounding.
A floral heaven.
Every dream was spent on elated tiers
Not one a bouquet of tears
Husbands and wives crowded
Constitutions If this lilac spring
Was different, how would it be
More merrier?
No glee denied.
Farewell to every dream fulfilled
This lilac spring
I love my quiet time with you,
I love having coffee/tea together,
I love talking to you;
Sharing lots of thoughts in life;
My prostration, my worries, my tiredness,
My uncertainties and my days of enjoyment.
I love my time crying with you;
Asking forgiveness, for mercy, and grace,
To start all over again and again.
I love my life with you;
My peacefulness, my loneliness, my isolation,
My success, my accomplishments,
My days, my moment, and time with you.
I love you;
I know you know it,
You see me, watching me wherever I am.
I love you,
You were with me from the time I was born
You molded me through difficulties, hardship,
Challenges and experiences of life
To gain an incredible strength of courage
To overcome obstacles in life.
I love myself, and I am falling in love being with you,
Being a mother, being a friend, being a companion,
Being a sister and being a daughter.
I love the way you brought me to life
In knowing you and seeing me as I am
And teaching me the way that you know better than I do.
I love you,
Because you first love me,
And I love to thank you for loving God to me.

The fun of this world is that my Lord is one. No mishaps or wishwashy mistakes on bending my in knee in prostration. My king is Allah and I wish to meet and greet him when my soul is taken to heaven. You see, my desire is paradise and I refuse to roll the dice on that dream, why waste being proper when the golden trees and rivers that are sweet to the taste, that will have my taste buds jumping in joy because oh boy, an everlasting stay in a place of supreme serenity, no vain pains, but everybody is equal and the people that made peace on this earth have eternity waiting for them.
My dream no matter how far it may seem is to have the fate of being allowed into the gates, along with my family and being greeted by the angels of mercy. To see foods of my liking spread across a table and to live in a kingdom without an ounce of rudeness. Noone calling me out my name, but I will reside beside people who have fame. They were good in God's temporary illusion despite all the confusion.
Mokhtar
Who is he?
He is fearful, but determined. He suffers but is happy.
Brother of a legend lost in deaths embrace.
He loves all that encompasses change.
Be it God’s religion that turns him into a good man.
Or a place where he finds all that there is within himself.
He always strives to be the best him he possibly can be.
It is he who fears losing loved ones.
It is he who feels nothing but emptiness in recognition from others.
It is he who fears unoriginality, to be someone who he isn't.
Mokhtar is the man who wants to see it all.
He yearns for what he doesn't know.
He wants to feel the sun's kiss of Arabia's desserts. He wants to reclaim the home of his ancestors in ancient Palestine.
He wants to die peacefully in prostration in God's house.
Resident of a nation Young and Great in might, currently being torn apart by ignorance and hate. Such is the case of his United States.
Mokhtar, “he who is chosen”.
For what, he does not know yet.
That's what he seeks to discover as he writes.
He writes to find out “Who am I?”
Well I write and say
Mokhtar!
That is who I AM!
He who is chosen
To wield the pen!
If I were A Poet
If I were a poet, I would write a poem celebrating your nuptials
I wouldn't call the moon by it's name, but call it your visage instead!
If I were a poet, I would...
I would whisk you away like perfume on the wings of the breeze
All my life, I would keep you hidden from the world's prying eyes
Even if my heart asked after you, I would not divulge the secret!
If I were a poet, I would...
My good fortune fills my heart with a strange dread
Lest some enemy's evil designs befall these moments of joy
What could I do but utter prayers to ward off the Evil Eye!
If I were a poet, I would...
As my last duty of love, my life would have fallen at your feet
And to this duty of love I would expound as prostration
If I were a poet, I would..
May the Bride flourish, may the groom prosper
May this poem of mine forever remain the preface to our love
Like someone praying on the rosary to ward off evil
My poem guards you like that of last verses of the Holy Gita!
If I were a poet, I would..

Make me great with your light
O Most Powerful God,
Keep your light shining to me
O Most Merciful God!
You stay in my entire life and death
O Most Gracious God,
My prostration is to you in full faith.
O Most Merciful God!
I don't want to go to the wrong way
I wouldn't respond to others in a wrong way,
I just only want your mercy,
O Most Merciful God!
Please open the door of mercy
And forgive all of my sins
with your love and mercy
O Most Merciful God!
If I have done any little sin in the day
Turn me to the right path immediately.
O Most Merciful God,
Keep your mercy flowing to me please!
To those who keep the right,
Hail to those who hold the right,
Greetings to those who have an essence and a promise,
Hail to those who are straight,
Hail to those who are protected from discontent,
Hail only those who put their trust in Hakk,
To those who are resurrected with our poems,
To those who do not submit to the persecution,
For those who are not worth the haram,
Greetings to those who have communicated the right,
Hail to those who lined up,
Hail only those who bow down,
Hail to those who rise with prostration,
And hello to those who understand us.

Down many traveled lanes I sauntered sadly,
Up avenues I’ve trampled more than twice.
I've slipped and in prostration cried out badly
for anyone to blare their soft advice.
-
“Reverberate!” I thought in paths I’d fathered.
Illuminate my present gifts of chance,
these shreds of life that I have never gathered,
the times I’ve shunned the elegance of dance.
-
In simple furtherance of all my sorrow,
I gathered all my hunches to my chest,
and borrowed all the blame that I could borrow,
and never tried a virgin to molest,
until the light of millions of tomorrows
could pave my path and put me to my rest.
-------------------------
I strike a blow,
To prove that gods can bleed,
When pierced by an arrow,
Tipped with a poison concocted from imperialistic greed,
Not a gaping wound,
Yet left alone to fester,
A bomb left primed and fused,
To end this world's helter skelter,
Inciting the death of a nation,
And the birth of a new world,
Free from patriotic prostration and international incineration,
Hark the combustion heralds as our new flag unfurls,
The white flag of surrender awash with a dynasty's blood,
Poised aloft a skeletal flagpole,
A worthy tapestry to depict our lives in the marshes' mud,
Behold our new dawning as the Red Sun sets,
Abandon your nuclear thrones and ivory decrees,
For we have relinquished our positions as inborn pets,
And seek retribution against your hereditary disease,
My death will mean nothing,
My dismembered body remains resolute,
My severed head will continue preaching,
Of a world ruled by us, the broken, and destitute.
