Well-moulded into handsomeness by God,
Behold in me a true and noble man.
None meets my aura without feeling awed;
Even my foes admire me as a fan.
Come close—meet a man with a tender heart,
My sweet smile enough to make your heart move.
I smell good, walk with grace, and dress with art;
I am gentle—peace-loving like a dove.
I'm good from my within to my without,
Proudly Black, my chin shines with a soft sheen.
I'm a kind man—no need for me to shout.
Glean it—my heart is loving, pure, and clean.
Elegant lady, graceful, majestic
Mathematician and analytic.
Lover of literature and music.
Friendly, helpful, compassionate, frolic.
Reasonable rational and righteous,
honors moral values, not religious.
Impulsive, prompt, acting spontaneous.
Dutiful, dynamic and courageous.
Optimist ! Ambitions not to give up.
Inherited brilliance owning brain sharp.
Drinking dreamy desires from hopeful cup.
Endures failure taking an easy burp.
Takes life as a challenge at every step.
Path of life not even, may take an odd shape.
Ready to confront, never to escape.
Peace -loving, yet on need, ready to skelp.
Minds turned into images
Barren moments, parched feelings
Drowned in haste and unease,
Self-indulgent and covetous
Desolate technology slaves
Imprisoned in closed cabins
Chained to the chairs
Eyes fixed on the screens
Human skeletons with dried hearts
Drained and deserted relationships
Torn emotions and tainted lives
Emptiness all around
Ruled by commerce and profit
Turning world in to market
With frozen conscience
Infringing the peace loving souls
Bred by craze, power and greed
Aimless swarms and awry crowds
Turning planet in to an oven
Yelling advancement and progress
Green turned into grey
Sky turned into smog
Breeze turned into beast
Violating nature’s chastity
Where are the relaxing rooftops
Trees and the chattering birds
Clear sky and the morning dew
Seducing sunsets and cozy evenings
Lost in the crew of human creatures
Serene, pure, tender and loving
Living in isolation and disenchantment
Waiting for the return of olden days
Seems a forlorn hope in mighty milieu
Crafted by the self-centered masters
Impervious to human virtues
But, the hope never dies
This loving tribute is long overdue
After two thousand poems or more
Time to honour my country called Canada
Spectacular from shore to shore
The hometown charm of folks down east
To the grandeur of the Rockies and beyond
No wonder Canadians are proud as punch
Sharing a unique common bond
On that great expanse of pink on your map
Just above the great US of A
Lives a gentle peace loving bunch of souls
Sure hope we can keep it that way
Not able to challenge the super powers
Competing in the Olympic games
Delighted just to share in the excitement
Winning or losing, it's the same
Happy to call Canada my home
Where magnificent vistas abound
My beloved country stands straight and tall
It's beauty the world over is renowned
This loving tribute is long overdue

Time to honour my country called Canada
Spectacular from shore to shore
The hometown charm of folks down east
To the grandeur of the Rockies and beyond
No wonder Canadians are proud as punch

Happy to call Canada my home
Where magnificent vistas abound
My beloved country stands straight and tall
It's beauty the world over is renowned
I'm sure you've heard the expression
In love with love
Well that's me through and through
Nothing in life is more important
It can take over one's whole being
But there's a bunch of lunatics in the world
Who give us peace loving *****sapiens a bad name
The lunatic fringe is what they're called
Whose brains haven't developed beyond kindergarten
In their mind, they're still fighting their schoolyard battles
But on a much, much larger scale
With much more tragic results
Human life is expendable
Not a consideration in the scope and scale of their conquests
The end justifies whatever means necessary
A side of us so called humans to be least proud of
Will it ever change?
Unfortunately I must answer no
It seems to have been ingrained in our psyche eons ago
No one is perfect
But these lunatics are at the other end of the scale
With all the crap going on in the world
It's a wonder we maintain our humour
Gets difficult if you watch the 6pm news
Leaves us in a kind of a stupor
Shouldn't find it strange or unusual
Been normal as long as we've lived
Would be strange if the news was happy
Ain't happened since I was a kid
Back then war was the news of the day
But to me it was us against them
Too young to know millions were dying
The carnage wreaked by men
What makes us so nasty to each other
Are we only programmed to kill
So why don't I have that killer instinct
Am I missing what gives us the will
Don't want it, not missing it, never had it
Peace loving since I was wee
More concerned with day to day living
Just a merry old soul is me!
Love trembles, a heartbeat,
Echoes through the soul,
Bequeaths joy, so very sweet.
Lends hope, making hearts whole.
Love erases the darkest night,
Whispering with gentle grace,
Reflecting the song of its light,
Brings wonder in every embrace.
Love breathes a prayer of hope,
Stirring the dreams, the muse,
Guarantees the soul can cope,
Singing a song that won’t confuse.
Love rouses the beauty inside,
Feelings so extraordinary, so alive,
Conveys perfection to ever abide,
Kindness that will eternally thrive.
Love reaches through the fears,
Conspiring with faith that lives,
Wiping away the most painful tears,
It’s serenity that just gives and gives.
Love pours out smiles of praise,
Arising to be a friend, adoring,
Light that is forever and always,
Its sensation is kind and restoring.
Love bonds hearts and souls,
With a magnificent beyond verse.
Love so powerful it completely controls,
Saving hearts from doubt that can coerce.
THE CHANGING WORLD
The age of chivalry and bravery has ended
That of sophistry, rivalry, upon us descended
Those with ability, to charm and talk, are commended
They are now indeed enemies, whom we once befriended
Where has all the love gone, hitherto, unlimited
The human greed for wealth remains unsatiated
For money, men unleash violence unabated
The rich and elite are highly ingratiated
The poor and forlorn man’s woes are unmitigated
Never were people so fearful, streets so deserted
Always under threat, somehow their lives will be disrupted
True, in Eve’s drawl and Adam’s fall, we have lamented
But Devil’s devious ways we have inherited
As peace-loving people, we too were once saluted
Today, hatred and revenge have left us demented
My dearest, possessing a divine pedigree,
You strive for impeccable integrity.
You shun evil to achieve absolute incorruptibility,
Wherein you will find total tranquility.
I watch as you aim for flawless righteousness,
Admiration grows as you disregard all timelessness.
When you reach for irreproachable honesty,
There is an air about you of complete modesty.
The ease of which it became convincible,
Was that true virtue can be invincible.
It will be invulnerable, what is attained,
And absolutely recoverable what is gained.
You acquire an aura of vestal security,
As your spirit takes on unassailable purity.
James 3 : Verses 17-18 Holy Bible.
17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
"Gone But Not Forgotten"
For reasons we may never understand
You are not forgotten loved one
Nor will you ever be
We will remember thee
Remembering the times we shared together
Grandson, my friend, your friendship meant so much to me
So many things I wanted to say to you
Words could flow, however, much was left unsaid
One thing I know for sure, God's love is everlasting
We miss you now, our hearts are broken
As time passes, we'll miss you more
Memories of days gone past, when love was the reason
Your loving smile, your gentle face
No one can fill your vacant place
Surely, God knows best, He will give us peace
Time continues to move, gone, yet remembered
Even when we talked with ease
As long as life and memories last
We will meet again, Grandson, at Heavens' door
Our Lord, send friends, but for a season
Dedicated to the memory of my Grandson Ethan, my friend!!!
Rest In Peace, Loving Angel!!

No matter the country we were born in
We're all inhabitants of earth
Maybe ashamed to admit it sometimes
Our much treasured place of birth
Since time began we've battled each other
For what I haven't a clue
Just look around at the beauty you see
An astounding vista we view
Is there something this old guy is missing
Am I alone in my love of living
Am I a lonely voice in the wilderness
This land is so forgiving
We abuse it and misuse it every damn day
This God given paradise we share
Disgusting behaviour is being exhibited
Destroying our planet without care
Certainly not fair for us peace loving souls
Our cries for love go unheeded
But surely we shouldn't give up the fight
Some common decency is needed
Maybe before my day is finally done
Paradise will finally be at hand
When all good people of our dear planet earth
Will as one each treasure this land
A land of virtues with cultural grace
For myriad religions, a home place
A peace loving paradise by nature
Honoring traditions, its grand feature
Many a scholar hailed from this blessed soil
Reformers made it renowned with their toil
Assorted branches of knowledge flourished
Awe-inspiring arts and cultures cherished
Invaders tried to grab this divine land;
And aimed to deface its glorious brand
The brave leaped into the great freedom fight.
Protected its legacy with much plight
The soil, water and breezes are pious
Adorned with the crown of Himalayas
Handles all hardships with no compromise
A true faithful friend to all its allies
Truth, justice, kindness and love are its stands
For global peace, it always stretches hands
Evergreen is its heritage story.
With a lot of joy, I praise its glory.

Forgive me but I just don't understand
What drives “people” to enter a school
Massacre forty young people
And burn their female teacher alive
It's beyond my comprehension
How an intelligent caring human being
Can willingly commit this atrocity
There lies the crux of the matter
They are NOT “intelligent caring human beings”
They are EVIL MONSTERS... period!
They don't belong to the HUMAN race!
They are freaks of nature
An anomaly... deviates from normal human behavior
Who have a totally warped sense of right and wrong
The lunatic fringe... THAT MUST BE STOPPED
At all costs... this cannot continue
This is NOT a normal human condition
Civilized people can fathom the depth
That these sub-humans will go to
As with the absolute majority of peace loving individuals
I am appauled beyond belief
I would like to say I'm speechless
Which is obviously not the case... this site is a forum
To express our absolute and utter rage
When these deviants commit these atrocities
IT'S A TOTALLY DISGUSTING OUTRAGE!!!
(a previous post)
How could anyone in their right mind
Choose war over peace
Conflict over stability
Upset over a smooth flow
Please enlighten me before I pass into the ages
Maybe I'm missing a few brain cells
But it is totally illogical to me
We carry on with our day to day activities
But looming in the back of the minds
Of all the peace loving souls in the world
Remains this fear that we're heading
For a disaster of monumental proportions
My days here on earth are relatively short
In comparison but I still find it
Totally unbelievable and I'm absolutely appalled
That so-called intelligent human beings
Lose track of what this life is all about
Are their genes unique different to us normal folks
Did something get crossed up at birth
Help me! I just don't understand
Is there a cause worth dying for?
I know not one if you ask me
The only one and most important thing in life
Is love of our family and our fellow humans
Where did I go wrong in this assessment
Please someone HELP ME!
