Crossed Up At Birth

How could anyone in their right mind
Choose war over peace
Conflict over stability
Upset over a smooth flow
Please enlighten me before I pass into the ages
Maybe I'm missing a few brain cells
But it is totally illogical to me
We carry on with our day to day activities
But looming in the back of the minds
Of all the peace loving souls in the world
Remains this fear that we're heading
For a disaster of monumental proportions
My days here on earth are relatively short
In comparison but I still find it
Totally unbelievable and I'm absolutely appalled
That so-called intelligent human beings
Lose track of what this life is all about
Are their genes unique different to us normal folks
Did something get crossed up at birth
Help me! I just don't understand
Is there a cause worth dying for?
I know not one if you ask me
The only one and most important thing in life
Is love of our family and our fellow humans
Where did I go wrong in this assessment
Please someone HELP ME!

That's it Jack, they're not right in the head born without a few decent cells in their bodies. The list is endless, make love not war. Tom
