Successes, weighed

We’re told to look forward: forge ahead, blaze a trail,
chart a course, carve out a path toward this
and then that and then next and then after.
Successes weighed in need, have, plan and later.
There is merit, though, in turning a head backward,
seeing stones tossed that landed, and those that missed a mark.

Premium Member EXPLORING NATURE

Exploring nature what do I see?
your beauty looking back at me.
What a pretty bird and bee.
The wind softy blows,
kissing the rose.
Peace by my side,
your pathway is my guide.

Summer Shouts

bare feet kick up dust
               on flower speckled pathways
                              powdered summer shouts

Premium Member Destiny

Man’s path of least resistance
is described as destiny.
The outcome predetermined,
as a river running to the sea.

Premium Member A Pathway To Unfathomable Love

Kiss me as you’d kiss a baby,
softly to show your love.
Touch me gently,
as you would someone hurt and afraid.

Hug me and hold me tightly,
that I might feel secure and protected.
Smile at me and laugh with me,
so I can see your joy and inner peace.

These are the things that sooth my soul,
inviting me to join you in a loving relationship.
These are the traits that will open my heart,
allowing love to flow freely.

Agree with me that we each have the right to be authentic,
and we’ll be free to be the best we can be.
Now two shall be one as passion is unshackled,
we shall frolic in unfathomable love.

Survival in life’s precious pathway

When I did peep my eager eyes majestically open, my parents were overwhelmed with awesome love and the attention was immense. I have the slimmest chance of survival, lamentable, their given charity, for I have been given a battling boot, a rough ride they admit, for god has given me a frenetic fight, as I fly my kite, my parents’ powerful tears, still here to tell the tale, will the earth take away my fight, throw a coin down the well, a lottery ticket, superficial perhaps, but that care must be mine, for that lucky day on the line I caught fish, it is my wish to one day be as free as the tide choosing my pious pathway.

A pathway

the said
nonaction
is not to sit lame
it is to let things happen
without any intervention and hold calm

THE HEART IS A NARROW PATHWAY

The heart is a narrow pathway
Where emotions tread
Love, dread, pain, sorrow, and hatred
Journey towards heaven's gateway.

Like a two-way traffic lane
Vessels surf with joy and pain
Weathering storms and hurricanes
Yet tender care remains the same.

The heart is a narrow pathway
Not a big and free expressway.
Though it tempts one to drive freely
It warns against paths taken carelessly.

The heart is not an expressway
But a narrow, winding path—
Drive upon it safely.

"I have been a stranger in a strange land." Bible, Exodus 2:22

the sun rising
the sun shining
shining new day
shining new light
light of hope
light of peace
peace for me
peace for you
you will know
you will show
show all men
show all nations
nations without war
nations without fear
fear is dying
fear is dead
dead to wealth
dead to self
self let go
self find way
way to life
way to God
God is good
God is love
love is free
love is spread
spread with joy
spread with rejoicing
rejoicing with song
rejoicing with music
music is playing
music is speaking
speaking with words
speaking with poetry
poetry never ends
poetry ever extends
extends to hearts
extends to hands
hands always working
hands always caring
caring for others
caring for sharing
sharing the load
sharing the road
road through night
road to light
light the pathway
light the heavens
heavens
pathway

Pathway to the Beyond

Symphony from heaven's portals,
Guiding the footsteps of mended mortals,
A walk of celestial grace,
It's not a kind of rat race.

Making heaven is the Father's delight,
He understands our helpless plight,
He is willing to give us a hand,
As we sojourn through a dark and fiery land.

As we ease into the night,
We come to the end of our fight,
An end to life's colourful twists,
Freed from fate's fists.

"Sometimes, as we suffer within the struggles of our own world, it is easy to forget that there are those who need us to help them overcome their's.

Therein lies the beginnings of finding a pathway to our own victory."

Pathway

I smiled today,
Guess! Why?
You may say:
I was probably happy today.
By the way,
I always smile sarcastically
Mostly I'm moody,
Eventually!
Today!
My smile was exposed largely,
The moment you streamed my scenery;
And it made me smile for the whole day,
Full of joy!
Just because one day:
You flashed my pathway.

" (Two roads) diverged in a yellow wood and I choose the
the one less traveled by and that has made
                              all the difference. "
                                             Quote by - Robert Frost

In autumn when wood is golden yellow
Summer season has taken leave of us
Fear not for nature sings pure libretto
Confounded by choice we are on the cusp.

Which trail to walk, where yellow wood seems dense?
Where no sunlight glimmers through autumn leaves
Soft darkness pervades creating suspense
This path seems ill-favoured I do believe.

Subtle, vague pathway barely visible
Where flickering sunlight uplifts spirit
Suddenly feeling quite invincible
Stronger and stronger minute by minute.

Autumnal yellow wood healed anxious mind
Miracle of nature soothing and kind.

the forest path winds and turns
                        weaving
and the foliage is lush and wild
as I arrive at wooden steps
that the forest wants to claim
                         I pause
           then, walk upwards in awe
of a deep hush and sigh
                 and it feels
                   that I have stepped
      into a magical
                    sacred place ...

Wishing upon a star
Distance seems so far
Miles ahead of me
To far to see
Dreams that are on their way
But meant for another day
Heart longing for affection
But feel I need protection
Love given to fast
Doesn't seem to last
Lessons of the past
Is it worth the pain
The stain
Lost in what to do
Will love grow
Cause I don't know
The pathway is unclear
I fear
The future is left unknown
The pathway lies yet un shown
Over grown
Eyes that are blind
See Only what's been left behind
Not what lies ahead
May fill them with dread
Would you still go
Still grow
Follow a path no one else wants to try
I may just fly
I may just cry
Time will tell
If I did well
Long as you give your best
You pass the test
If you didn't try
Then you have reason to cry
