May it never reach me
Nor as rumour.
Anything - end of time;
Of this world-age
Man's last death-rage-
But not what darker still
And forever
As would make Heaven, Hell:
Our love, soul-bound
Has been unwound.
Late sunlight
Washing over hills
Amber glow
Quiet world
Shadows stretching long and thin
Daylight fades away
White vapor
Clinging to the peaks
Cold and damp
Hidden path
Clouds descend upon the trees
Silence fills the air
Salt spray rise
Crashing on the shore
Sand is wet
Endless deep
Tides retreat with heavy sighs
Waves begin to roll
When we two parted, the dawn was gray,
No bird sang softly to ease the day—
Only the hush where tears might fall,
And love, too frail, forgot it all.
Your eyes were oceans gone to sleep,
Their tides withdrew, their silence deep;
I watched them fade, I could not stay—
The heart breaks quietly that way.
The rose I held has turned to dust,
Its petals whisper what I must:
That even stars, when love is through,
Burn out remembering the hue.
Now every dusk recalls your face,
Each twilight bears your faintest trace—
I reach, but find the empty air,
And know your soul is nowhere there.
When we two parted, time stood still,
The moon looked down, the world was ill—
And though my lips no more implore,
I shall be lonely evermore.
The Heavens parted, the sea split in two
Dry land appeared, the Israelites walked through
Six weeks later they stood at Sinai, as one they said
“Everything in your Torah, we will gladly do”
A revolution occurred, a Covenant made
between a People and God, a firm foundation laid
And though the People have too often strayed
the Covenant remains, 3,348 years ~ to this very day
the sky holding back its secrets suddenly, the clouds part
someone’s lips part; they’re caught in moment of yearning
Tight restraint release like clouds opening to reveal the stars,
waiting to whisper, even the heavens feels tension of desire
sometimes hold back what they long to share until can’t
Feeling silence listens to the heart holding its passion.
When Sonnet and Limerick parted
Sonnet became most brokenhearted
Limerick though blue
Met up with Haiku
It was over soon as it started.
We broke up at sunset,
under the wailing cry of a baby jet paddling through the evening sky.
We admired the leaking light,
our twin shadows retreating
into the lustreless night.
We're finished.
We'd diminished.
The sun, parting from the day,
stole its radiant light—
and love, too,
fell into decadent blight.
The last minute-mile of us was a story,
not of morning-glory ecstasy,
but of whispered goodbyes,
painfully polite,
spoken under fading light.
Her Parted Soul

She hoped that just a precious few
would catch her when she stumbled,
to lift her from her broken knees
when so her spirit crumbled.
But precious few were off at play.
They did not hear her cry;
and in the end as she went down
the Hope within her died.
Hope's fellows, Faith and Charity,
lay too within her grave,
as precious few will eulogize
a soul they did not save.
'Tis a pity: my money is all spent
~ It just didn't go where I wanted it to went

Like a nymph from Arden,
She entered my life’s garden.
Like lightning to me, she came;
For me, she was an ideal dame.
As feminine as a jasmine flower,
She found in me a protective bower.
I traced sweet nectar in her talk,
And a dancing swan in her walk.
Her floating hair for me was a cascade,
Placing my face in it, like a child I played.
Listening to the sounds her anklets made,
In rapturous mood, my head I swayed.
Arm in arm, in all kinds of weather,
Like love birds, we moved together.
People’s evil eye badly cast on us;
Like wild fire, it led to a deadly fuss.
Against us, our own damn cultures,
Played in disguise the roles of vultures.
They rested not until we parted,
And to heaven our souls departed.
my heart couldn't win
only verbal cruelty
today we parted

escapes
between
dramatic dark clouds
ships sail
in the distance
away
from waves of the sea

Standing in the queue for my turn,
seeing others faces, under blazing sun.
ok, insanely I am still human,
As, stupid habits for everyone, its given.
One path leading to another,
Everytime it felt more and more better.
Day arrived, change of plan,
Execution ground was somewhat different.
Ohh, its same, just a new work game,
trying to slip away from one, to have little fun.
jealousy, betrayal, denial,
For me everything was real.
Unforeseen circumstances, world is cruel.
A place like home to make stay,
To live better life, needed to pay.
On arrival, met cutie,
At first scared than, it was my duty.
Always clinging onto me to play,
solid, shiny, chewable things, it always wanted to take.
One day something went wrong; it was forever gone.
Days kept on passing but, moment of memories, still keeps on chasing.
Careful, this time took route to home,
A day journey; not somewhere in Rome.
Surplus amount of work to do,
Everyday, trying to fit into new shoes.
Reluctant to give up although, it was trouble.
unaware of reasons, why so much of hustle?
I always thought, don't be a porcelain doll,
Ahh, at last I did fall.
