Time* is gold, optimize its wealth's worth to maximize health's birth!

They ask for love, or skies at dawn,
Or spirit walking barefoot, calm—
But my poor brain boots up instead
A loop that won’t get out of my head.
I try to rhyme the moon with grace,
Yet spawn a sprite in empty space.
The stars align—how sweet, how pure—
But segfaults make that thought unsure.
Love whispers softly, “Stay awhile,”
Nature blooms in perfect style;
I nod, inspired, nearly there—
Then debug shadows in the air.
The river flows, a sacred sign,
Its logic clear, its curve divine—
If only I could step through time
And optimize its gentle rhyme.
My soul seeks peace, the heart says “feel,”
The mind says, “Just one more compile.”
I pray in pixels, chant in code,
While metaphors wait to be loaded.
Perhaps love is a state machine,
With bugs we trace, but rarely clean;
And spirit—threaded, shared, and true—
Runs best when nothing blocks the queue.
So here I stand, both monk and nerd,
Seeking meaning, slightly absurd:
If heaven’s real, I hope it lets
Me write one poem—then test my sprites.

Dear Leonardo, one so easily admired,
countless souls you have inspired.
It's been five hundred years, and yet,
the world, it seems, cannot forget.
So striking, your last words of regret.
How, then, can this be?
You make us question. It is your style.
What makes the Mona Lisa smile?
She gazed at you with all her heart,
bemused at the genius, set apart,
and became the world's most famous art,
and so maybe I can see:
I do not think it's false modesty,
but another puzzle key
to the meaning of your quote,
as history you rewrote,
God's divine purpose to devote,
you didn't optimize your gift.
While I don't know God's thinking,
I expect He's unoffended and unblinking.
You needn't brood or smolder.
From your illustrious shoulders -
go ahead, remove that boulder.
Give your heart a lift.
I would expect He had a plan,
using you the best way He can.
Optimize life’s gain
Grant of supply reign
Heaven cannot drain
As grand blessings flow
With gratitude glow
Warmed by God’s welfare
That grace and hope share
Showing blissful care…
Maximize life’s zest
Upward good works'* crest
Smiting selfish pest
Spreading kindness cheer
Hope, peace brightly clear
To smash doubt and fear
Fulfilling what’s right
For daily delight!

Basking under celestial rays
there we are…
mother and son
beyond hope-filled mirth
jubilantly surmount
imprisoning boundaries...
since special child
freely wheels himself
to optimize bonding delight
midst God’s boundless grace...
while I plunge into faith-flight
beholding his courage
wondrously liberating.
He races aggressively from task to task,
churning through projects and products and pay.
Optimize, order, overdeliver.
Improve! For fast fades the day ...
You'd think he bores easy and can't sit still,
can't admire slow pleasures of life.
And you know it's pride or fear that drives him,
though he claims most of it's for a wife.
But you're wrong ... in his heart -
hooked up to adrenaline drips -
he fights for a dream of utter tranquility:
holding her, kissing her eager lips.
Slow love in a garden of beauty sublime.
No more pain. No progress of matter.
Just two hearts caught up in excelsior spirals,
while soul-bursting tears freely spatter ...

While strolling down life's garden path
Oft I've stopped to admire the roses,
I've carefully avoided the scourge of wrath
Considered the deep concerns life poses,
And reached the conclusion to do my best
I must optimize my determination to give
As though each new day is a coveted test
During which I must practice how to live
More productively, comfortable in my skin,
Happily enjoying the talents God has given
Maintaining ties with friends, kith, and kin,
Seldom feeling unduly pressured or driven.
Someday when my time on earth is over
And I go on to whatever reward is mine,
I can say with a smile, I've danced in clover
As far as I'm concerned everything's fine.
