She had a grin to beguile.
Her teeth shone white with her smile.
That all went away
on that dreadful day
her beau went the extra mile!
"Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught will we realize we can't eat money." ~ Cree Indian proverb.
How can I exploit nature next?
(A man was suddenly perplexed.)
Where did the planet go?
(A hungry man, a stack of dough).

Spelling Oops!
Spelling bee champ rewarded
Holds high trophy awarded
Pride in hard work, done so well
Oops! "Spelling" on plague misspelled!
I write a lot of four-liners, though
I don’t lack for ideas or rhymes
My number one problem
No one taught me
~ Shorten your lines
The man in the elevator, alas!
Struck a small talk with a lady of class.
Was dealt a bad card,
Was sucker-punched hard -
Dared to ask if she will go down, badass!
oops
oh well
I will never do this again
it was a painful lesson
embarrassing me
They are caught in the web of enthusiasm
Radical thoughts locking their minds in spasm
Unsure of their locus
Eyes blinking to focus
Following leaders into the chasm
It's often been conjectured, though I've seen no one prove it.
What do we need, from our lexicon, to remove it?
To disprove it, it would be sufficient - more than ample,
simply to supply a single counterexample.
Now, thank God, we have it, and it's indisputable.
A question who's stupidity is immutable.
So now, friends and colleagues, I offer this suggestion:
let's no longer say, "there's no such thing as a dumb question".
Please ignore the title of the poem before this one I put the wrong title on the wrong thing and I don't know how to fix it .
Why is it Bears s**t in the woods while a deer leave sign?
Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears - a confusing metaphor.

Oops! I forgot our anniversary
Because you've been too icky
Because you've messed up big time
You have not been fair or sublime
Sweet honey, I am sorry, I totally forgot
However, if you keep your promise
You will, without a doubt, get a whole lot
Of rewards and gifts and no mess
Next year
If you love me, I'll give you my all
My life, my breath, my heart and soul
Next year.

Regina city councillors under fire
For ad campaign’s not looked at prior
How someone did not think to inquire
Check the news if you think me a liar
This province had some odd news breaks
Like the Tim Hortons with the snake…
The moose in the school for hoof’s sake
But this capital city goof takes the cake
I suppose they were hoping for a laugh
Now it looks like there’ll be some new staff
The response may still be half and half
Talked about around the coffee carafe
They’ve taken a lot of flack in the past
Tried to steer into the skid at last
That plan backfired pretty damn fast
A collective face palm, country vast
A headline that didn’t need to be spun
With marketing that cannot be undone
Since the new slogan that they chose to run
Is : “The city that rhymes with fun”…..
** Slogan since retracted by Experience Regina
Still Managed to make International headlines, well done...
