Elastic stretches bit by bit, around your thick dimension
Lets you wiggle, if you're pudgy, from too much fudge retention
A second portion...now, you're ecstatic....Alas, you've licked the kettle!
Should I tattle or meddle much, or call for intervention?
Thus, your middle may need attention, is it a time for fudge redemption?
I hope you won't judge my good intentions, or hold a grudge.... OOPS!
Caught by chance, I wear stretch pants!! Your fudge tastes quite fantastic!!

The esteemed senator was entangled in a very delicate situation.
It seems that with his long-time secretary he had yielded to temptation!
It was obvious that she was (to put it delicately) in a "family way."
He nervously laughed it off saying, "It's not my fault!" to keep the press at bay!
His spouse in her heart wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.
She didn't want to blemish his stellar career since he carried lots of clout.
But when she queried, "Are you the father of the child?" he became aloof.
"Get off my case and mind your business," said he, "Besides you have no proof!"
As inevitably happens the long-time secretary completed her gestation.
A spittin' image of the senator was produced creating national sensation!
He replied to the media about previous denials saying, "I'm not to blame!
As usual, you guys took my words out of context I shall always claim!"
He went about his senatorial duties as usual stating, "I will show no shame!
I will continue to serve the people of this nation and I will clear my name!"
Well, "the people" wanted a leader who would provide ethical direction,
And saw to it that he was voted out of office at the next general election!

2d Place win in Paula Swanson's "Four Sentence" Contest - June 2010
The grass "dewed" in spring’s early morning shimmer
Upon a crocus lay an "alula" in the sun with a glimmer
A symbol of many flights on every "level" there is to be
Whether it be "solos" or those together, feeling free
Often at "noon" Robin hop across the sunny land
Their "stots" fun to watch, then so still they do stand
Summer brings the "pop" of fireworks in the sky to see
Hummingbirds, "kayak", cookouts and bumble bee
Fall for me can sometimes bring on a "doom mood"
As fun summer "sagas" end, squirrels scramble for food
Winter looms but "live not evil", for there is Christmas "Eve"
Followed by Christmas, a "tenet" most important to believe

Heard 'em all a million times
Oh to go back to those days
Just to experience the fun again
The simple games we played
Not a solitary care in the world
We'd come in for lunch and dinner
Then off we'd go exploring again
After all, we were just beginners
Experiencing things every day
Like skipping rocks on the pond
The joys of the world around us
It was like waving a magic wand
Too bad we all have to grow up
Do serious adult like things
I'd much rather travel back in time
And jump and skip and sing

I was walking on the heath near Rocky Road with Mike and Ike, we’d been pals since our college days and called ourselves The Three Musketeers. We’d just had our pay day and were off on a spending spree on 5th Avenue then going to play skittles and then go to a music gig at Mr Good Bar to hear Lemonhead and the Lifesavers and Take 5.
When we arrived at Goobers Superbowl; my first ball was a disaster! I dropped the bowling ball, oops butterfingers; performed a tootsie roll and scored zero! Mike and Ike burst out laughing - I could hear their snickers ! I called them nerds but in reality they are not air heads they are a couple of smarties! It’s such a shame I wasn’t playing last week as there was a bowling marathon and the winner was the person with the lowest skor I could have had such fun going on holiday to see the sno caps on Starburst mountain with the prize of 100 grand!
We were very hungry after bowling so decided to take 5 at whatchamacallits, which was previously the Charleston Chew diner. Their slo poke dove cocktails were the best bar none, they were absolute whoppers!. I ordered some chunky Swedish fish, spicy hot tamales and mounds of Boston baked beans and drank a filter coffee but it was milky, way too milky.
I got out my Samsung Galaxy phone to call to my uncle Henry. I joined the dots pattern on the screen to unlock the phone. He wanted to have a long chat as he’d recently retired as a jolly rancher but I told him I needed to get home to feed my cat Kit Kat. I said O Henry I’ve got to go now, and later I’ll ring you.

Last year was brutal for me, if it weren't for my new friend convincing me to hang around, I would have been fine just passing away and putting an end to my so-called life. I've been homeless for almost a year now and my residence is anywhere I can find a warm dry place to rest my bones. Living on the streets of Manhattan isn't so bad, that is, if you don't mind gigantic size rats sharing your space. Or, if you're okay with hanging with hookers, hoodlums and other homies. I've become accustomed to the life of a vagabond, eating whatever good meal that I can scavenge from a garbage can or dumpster. I used to live in Hoboken, New Jersey with my wife and kids but that all ended one terrible day last year when my wife and kids were taken from me by a drunken tractor trailer driver. After the accident I became a mole, my life was shattered, I was shattered, I wanted to die. That's when I started hitting the bottle, taking pills, shooting heroin and smoking crack. Within three months I went from living in a beautiful house with a wife and two kids to being jobless and homeless and having nothing to live for. Getting back to my new friend, he found me one chilly evening on the sidewalk on 14th St. in the village and showed me to his place of warmth where he lived. He was homeless as well but new the streets very well. He lived in an abandoned building in a makeshift house made from cardboard boxes and filthy rags. He took me in, and we've been living together for nearly a year now and he's been trying his best to keep me going. He too lost his entire family one sad day when his wife and four kids were swept away in the flood from hurricane Lucifer. He taught me that no matter what happens in life, there is still reason to live, because there will always be someone who gives a rats a.. about you. Who ever knew that one of those gigantic black rats could be so kind and thoughtful. He's my friend and I love him, and he loves me too!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Oops! Wife just called... I got to go pick up the kids from school now. See ya!
Love in my life, flashes like a comet.
Still, memorable moments of forelsket.
I call it R.A.G.A.S…. cherished love tags!
I know, you are just too curious to hear those funny gags!
My mom…007 James Bond’s perfect clone.
The perfect dodger, an invisible cyclone.
Ms Boffin! She’s just another drone.
Oops! I am never out of her zone.
My first crush, “R”, handsome and dark, So so so cool!
Our hearts melted in the swimming pool.
Water was our sky; every dive became a memorable flight.
Mom’s presence was our plight.
She caught his gaze; her indirect counselling was on rage.
Patience of two days, most furious feud then, on the stage.
Spring faded into sad fall foliage.
“S”! His presence was like a beautiful seiche.
In my dreams, I created my perfect niche.
Known for his domineering will and strenuous style.
My eyes always followed him through the aisle.
Hand in hand, under the trench.
Always sitting, on the same bench.
Both of us on cloud nine!
But the climax reached in no time.
Across the road, he stood there to wave good bye.
Just then, my zooming car stopped near my poor guy.
Mom just uttered, “My daughter is my princess, how can a pauper touch the sky?”
Next few days were, poor sighs!
At basketball ground, on jogging rounds, coaching classes and allllll around.
“A” my new neighbour, short and stout, with him happiness was abound.
Mom’s abhorrence was again getting profound.
Day and night scary dreams began to hound.
Her hatred began to multiply like the Sensex cents and pounds.
How could I tell her, it was just a confound!

Angels are busy in the sky...I think!
Rolling giant golden barrels to give these desert lands a drink.
I hear the barrels rolling, oops! One tossed over the side!
A flash of gold was spotted, and it brought with it a tide!
Crashing! Splashing! Water!
With every barrel drop,
Cascading in a current over Mother Nature's crop
"Keep em' rolling lads!" Thunderous laughter ripples hills,
Dead rivers rise to life and flow
The basin quickly fills
Gold barrels tossed and clouds embossed, then silver
Poured on earth...
The dormant seed refreshed at need
Gold flowers glow,
Rebirth!

Warning!!
This is a free verse poem.
It may not meet the high standards of poetry soup.
It is also highly controversial.
The writer of this poem realizes that poetry is supposed to be light and fluffy!
Just like TV sitcoms.
But hear it is anyway, (oops hear, I mean here, is spelled wrong, automatically
disqualifying this poem as reflecting any beauty or talent at all.)
Hope it does not wound anyone too badly.
I Wonder what the headlines would be like if Fox News existed in the early 1800's?
Perhaps something like, "Despite minor slave trade infractions this month, such as 10,000
pieces of human chattel suffocating on their own defecation, 5000 female slaves being
raped by their masters, and 9,000 male slaves beat to death for smiling at their master's
wives, ABOLITIONISTS CONTINUE TO PURSUE THEIR OPPRESSIVE, SOCIALIST AGENDA!!!!"
Wow, how badly I long for the good old days of "American Morality!"
When the American Spirit was "Strong and Virile!!!"
Before all these bleeding heart abolitionists freed the slaves and destroyed the Southern
Economy!!!!!
Ah, just brings a tear to a brotha's eye.
Thank God for Fox News!!!!
Who else do we have to keep us honest?!!!!
