Only if God can hear

On the river's edge, I waited in vain
For a ship to rescue me from my pain
I cried for help, I prayed for aid
But none came, and my hopes were delayed

Just when I thought all was lost at sea
A boat appeared, a chance to break free
But I refused, for I waited for a ship
And the boatman left, with a gentle rip

Again I cried, again I prayed
And a plank was offered, a lifeline displayed
But I refused once more, still waiting for my ship
And the plank was withdrawn, my hopes dipped

The skies grew dark, the rains poured down
I needed an umbrella, a shelter from the town
But none came, and I stood, forlorn and blue
Until a stranger offered a Banyan leaf anew

But I refused, for I still waited for my umbrella's shade
And the stranger left, with a gentle, knowing glade

Only If

It eludes me too
My reluctance suprise me the same
I wish, only if i could
maybe this could be a story for the books.

Behind the outer facade of fake smiles,
we feel in hearts aspirations denied,
of weary souls who have walked many miles,
but found out too late that ego had lied
and that light of God was always inside.
If only we had someone to teach us,
free from desire, no dark fears would nonplus
and we would live a life free from conflict,
frolicking without fuss in God’s bliss bus,
our head and heart linked, tranquil soul love inked.

Only If You Cared

When all my dreams are about you, why don't you care a little about me
If I wasn't the person u expected, why don't you care a little bit
I tried to hate, hurt you but I end up loving you more
The words you've said always lingers in my head
The scars you've left is always there needing care but I know it can't be healed
The more I love the more pain I hold
The unsaid words, the longing shoulders and the vengeance is still seeking but will it happen?
If I can't be loved why don't you love me a little bit
You always hate the 'me' when I am still trying to do better
Will u love me if I was the person u expected?
Will u love me if I acted ?
I am an joker to act to make you smile
Only if you cared a little bit...

Premium Member I Miss You Only If You Miss My Smile

I miss you only if you miss my smile
I desire you only if you like my style
I always do my best and will continue to do so
You enjoy my impromptu speech and tempo
You know that I am opinionated
I express myself freely and overtly like Ed
One of my favorite politicians
Indeed, a masterly eloquent *****sapiens
I say what I have to say fearlessly and candidly
I do care a lot; yes. Yes, I do care immensely
You know exactly what to do now
Don't ask me why, what, who and how
Be very pretty tonight and do the chores
I'll be ready. Don't forget to fix the doors.

Only If

There are nightmare scenarios
that we, ordinary people, should read and understand
also try to keep the world peace hand in hand,
As we know all those nightmare scenarios
are often written behind the locked doors
by so-called world leaders,
aka the lead beasts,

In each one, the main characters
are always fallen angels
who set fire to the world peace,
because the lead beasts see
all the wars as the great feasts
to celebrate their victories

That’s why we all should read carefully
and understand each scenario
so that we will be able to see
so many clear, obvious, certain signs
only if we can read between the lines

Only If I Was Charles Xavier

Only if I was Charles Xavier
I would have a virtual trip
To the kingdom of your heart,
To unlock its secret locks,
To swim in its lakes,
To find the colours of its sands
It's coral leaves, its floras, its stones,
To know it all___
To wash its rust___
And water its plants

Would pour myself ___
Drop by drop ___
To mix with the soil___
To color your roses__

Would you then ___
Know me ___
Like you know your heart?

If
only
we be still,
embracing life,
as it does unfold,
without narrow craving,
thus fearless and desireless,
then, as staid witness to ourself,
we are within but not in the world,
joyous mist of bliss, free and unfettered.

There then thus, no doing, that need be done,
save slowly shedding off old thought forms
rooted in ego borne cravings,
which seek to demonise us,
shrouding us in darkness,
even though the light
within us shines
in the cave
of our
heart.

Only If I Were

If I were a bird
every feather would be preened and light,
singing sweet tweeted songs to my delight,
I'd take to the trees silent and unheard
flit and flutter to my heart in midday light,
  free as any bird
  floating caw-less
lightweight, airy and cautious,
 eyeing the earth below as flawless;
I'd sail the sky, touch the clouds,
a sparrow or bluejay, no something greater, more proud,
not an eagle or a falcon or some bird of prey across the seas and bay
but a gull, a seagull, white and gray,
 flying out to sea
casting an eye on oceans beneath me;
alas, it is but a dream
sadly I screech the seagull screams
and back to the parking lots for bread and french fries
where i barely hear the ocean waves cry.

Only If Upon the Quiet Ground

what
is
the past
but
the
sight of autumn
at last
with
her bounty
pastel colored leaves displayed
scattered
only
if
upon
the
quiet ground

Only If Death Do Us Apart

Only if Death do us Apart;
Shall I keep my Hands to myself
That, Which had been Nurtured to Fondle your Breast.
Striking through the Strides of your Hair; Abreast

Only if Death do us Apart;
Shall my Arms,be wrapped in white clothings,
Unstained, Stranded and Lifeless.
The Arms, which had been Crafted to wrap around your Beaded Waist,
Turning the Winter your Summer, While lost in Thought

Only if Death do us Apart;
Shall my Ears, Fond of listening to your Beautiful Breathe in Silence
Echoing through the Vessels and Ventricles of my Heart
Be shut by white lining Clothings
And rolled into the Earth forever

For as long as we Breathe;
Mouth to Mouth, Heart to Heart
Bonding our Imperfect Halves...
Shall I remain in your Halo, Unaltered
And never let to Flinch a bit

Premium Member Me To But Only If Its Colored Blue

Trump's little tramp came out of the woodwork
and was treated like royalty-so was Kavanaugh's.
Suddenly the little donkeys turned into lathered up thoroughbreds.
Racing up and down the d.c track
neighing... "always believe a woman...me to"

Clinton and Biden's battered harem came forward...
and were treated like lying whores.
Nothing but lonely chirps from the democrickets…

believe a woman …. me to but only if its colored blue...

chirp......chirp...……………..chirp

Only If

If I can travel back in time
I wouldn't waste my time
Going out of my mind
Being dumb or blind
I surely would speak my mind
Spend more time
Educating my mind
So I wouldn't be blind
When others choose to waste my time
Trying to drive me out of my mind
Stealing my precious time
Being selfish and unkind
Vindictive and distasteful
Dishonest and unfaithful.

Only If We Were Together

and even if you are being loved
I would have loved you,
differently....
If only we were together
maybe not everything you wish
I could've done
just a little bouquet of
candies and roses
and, I would have planted
a kiss on your forehead

If Only If Only

`...If only…
`
most oft repeated words
`Of the most saddest of men
Words of such weight
that carry such freight
And we all seem to say them
...Now and then...

...If only...

They speak of decisions unmade
Of actions delayed
Affections displayed
Best intentions betrayed
And they seem to be uttered
Again and again...

...If only...

Words 0ften spoken
With a tear in one’s eye
Most often accompanied
By a long wistful sigh
Of opportunities
And options
Passed by

...If only…

Hindsight could be
recalled and rectified
regrets and remorse
cast aside
perhaps...just perchance
we would be a little less lonely
...If only…
Had we taken the path
less tried
