Premium Membermusings on time

in ambedo trance
   we wished
the sun of joy would never set

but it did
  since the matrix
is designed to bind us with mind

remorseless
   and unapologetic
as we decay … is the flow of time

as long as we dream
which in truth is up to us
at any moment, silence sets us free

there is a catch
   of course there always is
sans thought, our ego, our identity dies

do we dare
to meld with the inky black void
if we do, then tip toe into heart unshod

embrace silence
   where bliss magnetism beckons
our formless awareness to merge with God

Eat On Time

Empty heart is better
Than empty stomach
Stomach acid hurts
More than heartache
Let's have breakfast
Lunch, snack and dinner
Never escape eating on time
So no more heartache and pain.

OF TIME AND AWARENESS

Greatness comes with time,
Never ever feel ignored;
Time has its time:-
Shakespeare was once unknown;
Just as you’re now unknown:-

He's Still On Time

God may four days late
Like He did to Lazarus
He's still on time.

GIVE ME BACK TODAY

GIVE ME BACK TODAY

It’s almost time, and all know it comes too soon
Perceived as faster than the phases of the moon
Couldn’t life just for once, play a different tune
The hour hand is pointing up to a darkening sky
And in the distance, I can hear the seagulls cry
Time is finite so they say, so give me back today

I’m not asking for much, merely a short extension
I guess all in this circumstance will feel the tension
That sense of nearness, a narrator fails to mention
This last twenty four hours that I will miss so much
My hairs rise, as I can almost feel that gentle touch
It’ll be soon to fade away, so give me back today

Some have even predicted that a new world awaits
And a future that only the wise man contemplates
But how does he know when it’s all up to the Fates
As each time is done, the contract makes it clear
No outward sign of resignation, just perhaps a tear
Is it really so much to ask, just give me back today

Premium MemberTime to Pass the Baton

   Time… to pass… the baton
     to a younger man
   You’ve lost a step
     a step or two, gone

   Time… to pass… the baton
     to loosen your grip
     to put down that whip
      Time… marches on

   Time… to pass… the baton
there’s a new road to run
     a better path you’re on
   Time… to pass… the baton

Right on time by Suzan Satchell

Right on time

Have you ever gone through a rough time when you felt so alone and there was no one you could turn to for a lifeline?
You cried, and you cried, and your tears would not dry.
You searched and you searched, but no one was in sight who would reach out and give a word of encouragement or even a helping hand.
Instead of a kind word from those whom you know, they cast their assertion and turned up their noses.
You thought they would help, but they make matters worse.
One day after another, your situation gets worse.
You feel so rejected, despised, and alone.
Your ship is capsizing, and you see no way out.
But thank God for Jesus, who provided a lifeline and brought you out on time.
You cried out to Jesus, and He came through on time.
His love and compassion caused you to smile.
Thank you, Dear Jesus, for coming through on time.

Premium MemberYou Never Were On Time

You said it when you said goodbye
You said you'd anchor near
You said I'd feel you in the wind but all I feel is air

I listened for the whispers, too
I listened close to hear
I listened and I looked but all the signs you sent weren't clear

We had a pact, you shattered it
We had so little time
We had an understanding but it seems it was just mine

You chose to throw it all away
You chose to say it's fine
You chose to shoot the poison, smoke the death and cross that line

I tried so hard to breathe for you
I tried to circulate
I tried and cried, denied and still, I’d die to change your fate

You said you’d never be that far
You said you wouldn't wait
You said you'd run like wind to me I guess you're running late

Premium MemberExistence

Life is music that drifts in open spaces
        sometimes a brash crescendo
that brims with the fullness of now
when stories break from narrow, rigid scripts
        stifling random routine

Life is free wheeling inventiveness
        peacockish
        a feathered tapestry
parading like a wedding dress down the aisle

Sometimes life is a ping pong bounce of sorrow
        giant ball
        that blurs the sky
        that covers our eyes
a fog creeping into ruined places

Life is a tumble of forces
a counterpoint of malice and joy
that goes in an unexpected direction
like the connective chords of love
                 an airy drift
                 amplified
in the ringing rush of time

Premium MemberReflection On Time

There are times I soar
Feeling on the top of the world
And yet there are times
When I cry and feel so low
There are times when I need to explore
These are the times I move
Deep into my very core
There are times that really bore
These are the times when I find it a chore!
Time heals all wounds
Or so the saying goes
Time opens that third eye
That sees so much more
Time has a strange way
To measure all these emotions
Since when did time cause
So much commotion?
The sound of silence
Interrupted by a ticking clock
Time is once again running amok!

Poems For Fun - Just On Time

I, me, myself don't ever feel
an emptiness in our hearts
like many people have
a sort of emptiness in their lives
coz we read, write, and talk
to each other all the time,
and each of us share
what we say
what we hear
what we feel,
what we need,
just on time

Time Never Fails Nor Stops

Time is,
     flawless watch...
     don't delay,
     do not advance,
     don't stop
     unfailingly
     chronologically
     in right course...!
