   Bursting into oblivion,
   Landing on Mars.
   It's not too far.

   Roving over mountains,
   Looking at the clock.
   The town clock has stopped.

Momma said, " Be on time,
                          I have to leave,
                          At a quarter past nine"!

I'm sure it's not too late,
   I have time.
   For one more skate.

   Down the street,
   Across the drive.
   Into the sidewalk.

   "Sakes alive".
   My Momma is standing there.
   She has a glare.

Momma said, "Where have you been?
                       It's a quarter past ten!
My appointment for you at the candy store is at an end.
Now off to do all the rest:
                       Dentist, groceries, and bank."

I missed out on the best.
   No candy for me.
   Just a test.

Too see who can be on time.
   When blasting off.
   Way past the shrubs.

Lifting my shoulders I gave a shrug.
   How can I answer?
   All the places I've been.

   Blasted by a time bomb,
   Without,
   And within.

   Next time,
   I might take a swim.
   Take a waterproof watch.

   Swim under water,
   And watch the clock.
   Tick tock, tick tock.

I found you among the ashes

I found you among the ashes
and we traded myth for fact
in the dark like lightning flashes
the truth surged in a final act.

Ironic, isn't it, or maybe sad
what you finally learned
now that everything we had
has burned.

As I aged, space did contract
Windows closed, freedom cracked.
I reflected on time wasted, lost
Resentment had a dreadful cost.

The joke is we could have sat
and talked through the situation
If you had faced that
reality involved humiliation.

Self-insight gives perspective
Don't have to be a great detective.
I suppose it's good you turned the page.
We were just a subplot on a larger stage

For in the distance a tsunami comes
A blackness greater than ten suns
Swept clean by a greater rage
Into the jaws of a new dark age.

Sometimes

Sometimes you have to visit the past,
The strongholds that once had such a tight grasp,
All so you can finally let go,
Allow God's love to simply flow,
Sometimes you have to see where you were,
When you were there, you were in such a blur,
To truly appreciate where you are going,
Even if you get nervous and hate not knowing,

The great Divine,
Is always on time,
Never is he late,
When you allow Him to hold the weight,
You have all you need
when you let Him lead
You can make it through
Dont let anything stop you,

Appreciate the sounds of angels cheering you on in the distant breeze,
Allow them to put your mind and heart at ease,
Love waits for you with hands stretched out
Dont allow your mind to fill you with hopelessness and doubt,

Sometimes yesterday has to be viewed,
In order to make today not skewed,
Sometimes after the storm reflection must take place,
In order to find the strength to continue on in life's race,
Look how far you have come,
Instead of walking you will begin to run,
Look how beautiful it has started to taste,
When you search real deep you'll see nothing was a waste.

Even in your worst moments and memories,
Remember the One who died so you could be set free,
Even when you have long nights all alone,
What’s happening is that you’re gently being sown.

The Talking Pine Cone

Can pine cones actually predict how harsh winter will be?
If a harsh winter is on the way, pine trees create more pine cones.Thinking if squirrels & birds share their opinion on the coming season, they will collect more pine seeds & stock up ahead of time

Atop a decorative table a basket of pinecones sit festive and clean
No resin to speak of no brittle edge left, from the forest of dreams
A little girl with a tub full of glue stickied and sparkled until two
Til' a pinecone flew out of the pile and yelled, "Tell me, what is new! "
They talked for a while then, she hopped into bed;
Santa arrives with a jolly old bounce, leaving a doll with a flounce
Down in the valley the lumberjacks cut, but up in the Country their sought
Thank God for the pinecones that talk and for those that do not
Its gonna be a long cold winter so "wear your winter mitts"
says the pinecone to a Jolly Santa, who jiggles and jangles
then laughs with a tickling fit...
Atop a decoartive table the pinecones arranged all with shine,
ready for a Christmas of love, that arrives just on time.

Usa Vs Mars 2016 Olympics Soccer

As expected, Mars failed to arrive on time for the games
Space travel is difficult, compromised for non existent beings
Speculations run high that the media would not favor the USA
News reporters speak on Martian matters and on their behalf
Always have their way in such arenas with no figures
It was zero zero at half time
No one expected more
The end triggered overtime
Zero zero continued into eternity
As expected, the fans love good competition
Everyone knows in their heart
Earth is better than Mars
We have people for starters
We wonder what will happen in time
The Winter Olympics are right around the corner
Who knows how far Mars will go to score
Will they do any better on the toboggan or the luge
The news reporters favor the USA as usual
Or is it Mars
We see a bunch of zeroes in their future
No matter who they are

Forgiving Something You Cannot Forget

The darkest day teaches the power of prayer
In Him, we can lay down the unspeakable
Humans will be filled with transactions of a ‘troubled’ heart!
When things rip through our hearts, we can play the greatest part
The glory of trial and error will be seen
When we stand before each other

Being real to oneself is the letter of the heart and
Dealing with Uncertainty is fulfilling your part
If you cannot forgive now, do not be alarmed!
Understand but more importantly
You will be able to forgive something you cannot forget!
This capability lies within you!

When the pain cannot be forgotten
Remember that the measure of your forgiveness
Will be in stages!
This is a product of love
Found on the pages of the heart of God!
This is not the time to give up
The pain is real but the seal of His Heart is upon you and
That will eventually pour itself out through love!
Sometimes things do not happen on time
Sometimes the pain does not go away for a long time
Sometimes we fall down and it is hard to get up!
Sometimes we feel we cannot forgive
Because we cannot forget it but
Being real to oneself is the letter of the heart and
Dealing with Uncertainty is fulfilling your part
If you cannot forgive now, do not be alarmed!
Understand but more importantly
You will be able to forgive something you cannot forget!
This capability lies within you!
Don’t give up
Because the darkest day teaches the power of prayer!

Premium Member Train Track To Abstract

Asp!

I can see
I am not
going to be
on time?

That's a fact!

I am late,
and must wait,
while a gate
holds me back
from the tracks!

What a pain
is the train
dashing by!..

Rolling on at a pace
of a snail in a race
I am bracing to stifle a yawn

All that freight, makes a pass
while my eyes try to grasp
graffiti that is now flashing by..

On the side of each car
is a scar that was splashed
by a guy with a message to send..

It departs
'round the bend
So the gallery ends..

Farewell to the art
from a friend...

I am late...
but the wait
was a blast!

Justify

I never felt the need for a poem
When you were with me
Every moment was a story
Full of joy and laughter!
You asked me to write a poem for you
about you...
Musing hard and quit later
Nothing to write about you
You were a poem for me
A poem about a poem!
Only need a critic to take out the beauty and
romance from the wonderful piece of poetry
Then why I need to write a poem about my poetry now!
That is the reality_
We cannot see our planet from this planet
We only know we live on it and will die here
The reason for my poetry is the same
When you were with me, I just knew ‘we’
When you are not with me, I need a piece of poetry
We are polluting our planet every day with glory
When it is extreme, we need to think and write about it
I was stupid and will always be
I never took the medicine on time!

Premium Member musings on time

in ambedo trance
   we wished
the sun of joy would never set

but it did
  since the matrix
is designed to bind us with mind

remorseless
   and unapologetic
as we decay … is the flow of time

as long as we dream
which in truth is up to us
at any moment, silence sets us free

there is a catch
   of course there always is
sans thought, our ego, our identity dies

do we dare
to meld with the inky black void
if we do, then tip toe into heart unshod

embrace silence
   where bliss magnetism beckons
our formless awareness to merge with God
