Oblivious To Oblivion
I stand where silence threatens to consume,
The dark encroaches, hungering for claim,
Yet still I walk, unflinching in the gloom,
Unbent, unbroken, nameless though my name.
Oblivion waits with patient, endless hand,
Its shadows whisper promises of peace,
But I will not bow down to shifting sand,
Nor trade my breath for chains of sweet release.
The void may laugh, the stars

Oblivion’s Comfort
I wake to the desert, talking to the wind;
its voice is dry and muffled.
Sand cuts my skin as I walk;
nowhere feels like a place I belong to.
The seeming figs glow like a distant fire.
My feet are melting with every step I take.
I lose my balance when I stride;
I am surprised as the light darkens me.
Flames

Oblivion
Billions of galaxies,
Plenty of planets,
Moons and suns,
Unfathomable stars,
Bountiful black holes,
Drastic darkness,
Yet on this esoteric earth
My minute head is
Filled with frivolous
And quizzical questions,
“What should I have for dinner?”
“Am I going to be a winner?”
Funny how we take everything
For granted guilelessly,
The thing we call life,
Feels like a distraction sometimes,
Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, funerals,
Imbecilic circle,
Just like a

Oblivion
Poem ‘Oblivion’
Drastic times calls forth bold demands,
Not quiet hearts or passive hands.
For change to rise, the roofs and roots must shake,
To build a new, immoral and unethical ways must break.
Sometimes it takes the patience to fall,
To raise up justice, loud and tall.
Opposition paves the path, it’s true,
For something better, bold, and new.
Wrongdoing for too long

Ignorance is a rhyme without a soul, an art fading into slow oblivion
Ignorance is a rhyme without a soul, an art fading into slow oblivion,
like fallen tulips swirling through captive rays of a weary sun,
amidst hot sighs tearing through the deafening silence of the evening,
and they are more than the burning thorns of a phoenix rose moon,
infused in scarlet elixirs of an enchanted dusk weaving its silent

Shadows speak oblivion
It speaks of loss and vermilion
It speaks of everything and eternity
Shadows reek of dead things n burnt dreams
Shadows hide the faces of the world
The truth from the light, the madness
In houses of civility, things of industry
In the deepest night, shadows linger, creep
Shadows cover our misbegotten deeds
It speaks of loss n suffering

painting oblivion
Painting of Oblivion
The canvas is uniformly white.
As a screen depicts nothingness
And there is immobility.
A red dot appears
When a mass of void moves
Into life in the form of a life
A beast or a man?
The mystery is no one knows.
Why this randomness occurs

Oblivion awaits
Victory seemed so close
An accomplishment to boast
We once dreamed against our woes
Now we raise a final toast
To all of our friends lost
Fighting for what we already won
However we paid the worst cost
Losing the war that was already done
We once left the kingdom
By tossing our supply of tea
Now we search for freedom
By removing liberty
We once headed

Le Grand Bleu
+the knot does not untie from within but frays at the edges, a thread pulled loose by unseen hands+
—we do not walk in bodies—we drift in thought, for there is no world but the one the mind dreams—

And when the hands that

Oblivion
Oblivion, how quickly it catches up with us
Like the shadow of a giant bird
that doesn't even notice us
in its slow flight at low altitude.
Tide of the past arose suddenly
The next second life changes forever
Moving silently towards the light
Favorite things fade into oblivion
The beloved's face blurs, her warm lips

Einstein's Oblivion
I went to the edge, where the shadows don't speak,
Where the pain of my sorrow is softened I seek,
A silence so deep, it swallows my sighs,
And the world fades away into infinite night.
No tears, no regret, no cold hands to hold,
No whispers of what might have been, silent and cold,
A place where the past no

On the plain of oblivion, where dreams lose their color under the leaden sky
On the plain of oblivion, where dreams lose their color under the leaden sky,
Our country stretches like a canvas of memories unraveling in the wind,
Here, where politicians are the shadows of extinguished times, without echo,
We have witnessed a theater of the absurd, with thieves dressed as saints,
Minds bright only in the selling of illusions, while

The Dying of the Poet’s Dream
I have this fear that beyond my years
Every word I’ve said or written will be gone,
Like dust in the wind or seas where rivers end
These thoughts of mine will vanish with the dawn.
No money or fame do I proclaim
Nor legacies of great things I have done,
No battle scars or discovered

Love's Oblivion
She wove a tapestry of tender grace,
A silken thread of affection's embrace.
He, a tempest, a tempestuous soul,
Cast shadows deep, beyond control.
She, a beacon, radiant and bright,
Bathed him in the aureate light
Of her devotion, pure and true,
But he, oblivious, sailed through.
He, an incubus, a fleeting guise,
Lured her with illusory skies.
She, with an albatross of adoration,
Yearned for

A Sip of Oblivion
Put a little cardamom in it.
Spice it up!
Cloves are great for health.
Add that in too!
A pinch of cinnamon.
Wow, what a robust flavor!
Don’t forget Ginger!
Peel and feel the texture.
Drop it in!
Pitch black tea leaves.
It leaves you with a strong, but bitter sensation.
Hear those bubbles sing and dance while boiling,
Steam shoots up in the air out of
