The Unveiled Flaw

It started when I had no shape,
At home or school no place to escape.
People judged me and mocked my fate.
It was so terrible, Yes!! I was overwieght.

Concealed myself behind that door,
Trapped by the walls that helped me ignore.
Thinking of ways to aid me and raise,
Resolve ,restrict to impose me a praise.

One night I decided to just rearrange,
By climbing the stairs and plates exchanged.
All my time and efforts it took,
Hoping to see my new good look.

And when I stepped one day on the scale ,
I stared at it from glowy pink to yellow pale.
I pulled myself together very soon,
I threw what i acquired that smaller spoon.

Now I knew what I realy needed indeed,
That confidence and glare and upright feet.
The belly fat is not what i gotta get rid of,
But the notions of people were just to be tossed off!

Premium Member Give a Royal Flip

Bleeding through the most perplexing pain
No sure what the reward is to be gained
From suffering, though some do believe
[Yet they cannot adequately explain],
And I have often wondered about such
Without having myself suffered that much.

“No pain, … no gain” is that crafty cliché
Designed to enhance a gym membership
Keeping the overweight sufferer hanging
Even if most couldn’t give a royal flip,
Losing it today; then gaining it back tenfold
Obesity seems as inevitable as growing old.

Some perverted men want their women fat
Encouraging them to eat beyond their fill,
Displaying their extra layers of rolling flesh
Without regard to the physical disorders ‘til
It’s too late to do something positive, you see
I am just happy as a lark, this isn’t about me.

Massive Heart Attack

There was a young man who was obese.
He ate too much and now he's deceased.
He went to his favorite restaurants and ate a lot of food every day.
He died at the age of thirty and it's not surprising that he passed away.
His family told him that his gluttony might prove fatal and they begged him to go on a diet.
Even though they told him over and over that his obesity might end his life, he didn't buy it.
One evening when he was through eating, he had a massive heart attack and hit the floor.
He died instantly and his wife and children grieve because their patriarch isn't alive anymore.
He scoffed at the idea of dieting and he suffered a horrible fate.
He might not have died if he had made an effort to lose weight.

Tips To Say

Here's some tips I can say,
If I give you advice this way,
If you keep eating like you are today,
You'll never fit through the door!
You're twice the size you were before!
So I'm not doing beer belly ****!

Cic Roll Model

Did you see our POTUS toddle?
Its called the, "Air Force One Waddle"
But a U. S. Marine
Claims our POTUS is clean
And the Army's top roll model.

Fast Food

McDonald's and Burger King fare
Fuel obesity fair and square
Fast food tastes so good
We eat all we could
Truth be told, we really don't care!

Premium Member Missing Link In the Food Chain

All around us
It’s an epidemic
Man-induced plague

It’s a conspiracy
To hook people
To non food foods
Eats that should be
Technically inedible

Anything to grease the wheel
Of factories and consumerism
Nothing grown naturally
Nothing from a farm
Heavens no

Promoting foods whipped up
From powders and chemicals
None of those
Vegetables or fruits
Or other live stuff

Let the population thrive
On plastic derivatives
Deceitfully charming
Taste buds everywhere

Inducing dependency
Decomposing corpses wandering
Like loose time bombs
Waiting to explode

Word count a burden,

Meaning gets crushed,

The source of the problem regarding obesity in America:

Obesity and Harry

I was transfixed with Chuckie Egg sometimes,
By Harry who was obese but with very thin legs,
Which to me looked too slim for his eating times,
For the size of his rounded stomach of kegs.

Sometimes I gave myself an ego trip on him, it,
B y saying that I was a member of a top family,
Where my dad wanted to upon Billy Graham sit,
And my mum was fundamentalism’s anomaly.

My parents were so high up in strict Christianity,
And I thought they were mobile on nothingness,
So Harry was to me an image of them, familiarity,
As evolution theory gave me emotional happiness.

I sometimes had to tell myself that it was a game,
Not real, because I needed to classify my parents,
For their raving social life, connections and fame,
By believing in Jesus, archaic and my abhorrence.

Obesity has been growing in the past 20 years
But health officials were shocked by a 1999
Study that revealed that 61% of the population
 Either overweight or obese
Obesity linked to diabetes
Heart disease
 Hypertension
 Osteoarthritis and cancer
The effects of obesity cost Americans $100 billion per year

Mom would say to sit and eat veggie and fruits while going out
Dad would say talk not at all with the mouth full-daily tortures
The child hood excessive fatness was not part of daily cant.

Obesity

Those candies hiding in your valise
say your diet long since lost its lease.
So, chew on those Reeses;
chomp whatever pleases.
You've got more that I can love obese.

THE TALE OF TOM

no!
but why?
he was kind
and so thoughtful
didn’t strut around
like so many I know
all the little ones loved him
i must say though he was so fat
he should have watched himself at mealtimes
just see how he overlaps the platter
