I hold three magic rocks, in my hand
Rolling them over and over and over
Leaving this reality behind, far behind

Crafty moon sends her light, gently nuzzling
Rustling in the winds, songs of peace and praise
Endless dreams swaying, dancing, in full swing
Fairytale wishes fade as starlight prays
Where love sought her kiss, beneath angel’s wings
Rustling in the winds, songs of peace and praise
Hopeful bursts of grace still the swords of kings
Washing away shadows with light that glows
Where love sought her kiss, beneath angel’s wings
Songs of passionate nights stir life that knows
Beautiful tears, kindness, restoring hope
Washing away shadows with light that glows
Melodies in rich rose teach minds to cope
Winter fades into spring’s breathless debut
Beautiful tears, kindness, restoring hope
Nirvana of grace stirs life, all brand-new
Crafty moon sends her light, gently nuzzling
Winter fades into spring’s breathless debut
Endless dreams swaying, dancing, in full swing

Happiness is a state of mind
See a horse nuzzling its foal
They for the moment are surrounded by it.
Or a sunbeam shining over a flower
Making it sparkle and seem to dance with joy
Its the mass of little things that give pleasure
A child stops crying over a bump
When its mother gives it a kiss.
Its when little things by themselves
Don't matter but collectively they bear happiness,
You can have a half full glass or a half empty one
The choice is yours to make look out for nice memories.
So you see the more you quit crying over silly upsets
The happier you will become in return
Always choose to be positive about things
The reward will be that you enjoy life much more.

Sundrops dapple umbrageous trees
strewing uncut diamonds, littering the path
with ambient flickers of what lies beyond.
Sundrops freckle ocean's surface
accenting the ripples that pattern the waves,
nuzzling playful kisses toward the warm beach.
Sundrops seduce the wayward wind
pirouetting with the aphids blissful dance,
a frenzied tarantella across my lips.

dogs are not cats
they …..
Look for love in the most unlikely of places.
find it too
for who can resist a puppy
or a cold nose nuzzling your shirt?
dogs are not cats
they love you no matter how nasty you get
making you want to be better

As we walk,
he holds my hand.
As we lay,
he holds me tight.
As we sit,
he holds my waist.
His touch is soft,
like a feather against my skin.
His voice,
like a whisper in my mind.
His kiss,
sweet and soft,
like a bunny,
nuzzling a flower.
His touch is magnificent,
and his touch makes me happy.

Bright lithe and lively fall morning aroma waft out,
Courtly swish through a deft pirouette turnabout.
Trees hears psithurism leaves sigh to get a glance.
Rain's philter makes the earth surface move and dance.
Near the river's edge, ducklings splash in boisterous mirth;
Ripples break the repetitious echo of the habitable earth.
The day rolls up spent, nightfall slowly creeps and does gain;
Gentle nuzzling into the boundless horizon once again.

Invisible yet invincible
By Michelle Morris
17/10/2021
A tender moment
between a mother and her babe
nuzzling for nourishment
creating a bond so great
Beyond comprehension
invisible yet invincible
forever in consciousness
forever merged hearts and souls
Forged in blood
in late night feedings
early morning greetings
roundabouts and swings
More tender moments
a lifetime of promises
searching for individuality
whilst wanting to stay bonded
Relationship milestones
time marches on
age makes no difference
to a mother's protective arms
Always in touch
no distance can erase
telepathy brings
emotions to the surface
Nothing is stronger
more gentle
more right
than the bond between
a mother
and
her child

Graceful and sleek, with fur so soft,
A feline beauty, aloof and oft,
She prowls the night with watchful eye,
In search of prey that scurries by.
With stealth and skill, she makes her move,
Her razor-sharp claws and teeth to prove,
She's queen of the hunt, the master of all,
A creature of instinct, she heeds nature's call.
Yet when the day is done, and the night is through,
She'll curl up beside you, purring anew,
Her contented purrs, a soothing sound,
As she nuzzles your hand, and snuggles down.
So regal and proud, and yet so sweet,
This furry friend, our hearts doth meet,
With her playful antics and loving ways,
Our lives enriched, forever and always.

I take you out with gentle finger,
To coo and comfort my tortured soul.
Nuzzling your beak against my cheek.
Gives me goosebumps and comfort from
Thought.
Mesmerized by your tranquil feathers,
Makes me yearn to be free.
To soar with you in the clouds.
We could be magnificent together, yet
You’re caged until healed from a broken wing.
Sadness, uninvited, is a noxious vine planted
In my heart.
I must heal as well,
To be better for you.
We may one day rule the skies together,
And look down upon the world
Left behind.
Stronger, purposeful, to the end of our days.

holding Abigail in my arms
my cat is treated to lessons mother
passed on to me
bury your face in her neck
and gently rub your cheek
she will arch backward into the nuzzling
chew softly on her ears
the more you pay attention
to the back of the head
the brain will fire neuropathways
and the memories of mother
will come thru
she pulls back into that look
where we take turns rubbing cheeks
cheek to cheek we declare we belong
to one another
Anatole France noted until you
have loved an animal
you are only a half soul
sometimes my nights need a bit more
to settle the day's dust
the little bottle in the bathroom
comes in the same pink box
i remember wrapping at Christmas
the joy in that present for her
and that is all it takes
full concentration for the night's list
of those in my deepest prayer
one little spray from that bottle
and i am in church next to my mother
lost in the wonderment of a congregation
devoted to the good of mankind
united in prayer and song
such are the neuropathways of mother
God's creatures are blessed as such
mother and a single spray
of White Shoulders

Gentling hues bless my hungry soul
Dazzling sensations who make me whole
Fragments of joy, shards of my muse
Bless my hungry soul, gentling hues
Darkness falls down, like autumn leaves
Bestowing compassion for one who believes
His light is alive in stars, the night’s crown
Like autumn leaves, darkness falls down
Shadows flowing, reflecting all my dreams
Liquid oasis, secrets in beautiful themes
Wonders alive as my love keeps growing
Reflecting all my dreams, shadows flowing
Like the breathless wind, nuzzling my cheek
Joy in shades of grace silence every critique
Mystery and hope mixed together, combined
Nuzzling my cheek, like the breathless wind
Without the Lord above, I’d be lost in dread
It was for my redemption that He came and bled
His grace brought me peace and abiding love
I’d be lost in dread without the Lord above

Gentle like the tender touch
Of laughter, joy, hope
Her eyes are soft, so kind
Like a mellow whisper of calm
Serene and flowing with warmth
She is big, a giant of a girl…
Large boned and silent
Quiet as the night, just before
The raging of a summer storm
Pelting rain and winds
Bursting across the hills
Roaring gales and downpours
She is wise, a little reluctant
Hesitating, just on the verge of
Bellowing, she falters, listening
To the nuzzling of her calf
Her little youngster, so affectionate
Just a whimper and his mother
Comes running, protecting, defending
Her motherly instinct, intensive
Gentle like the lemony sunshine
Stirring spirits to listen, to hear
The echo of glorious rainbows, birdsong
Coloring the skies in reflections of peace
Her coat is burnt orange, like a sunset
And she breathes life through nostrils
Inhaling and exhaling the miracles
Stirred to life in the dust of a barn
Where her tenderness is rewarded
With grain, corn and fodder, her gift
For gracing our hearts with such quiet charm

In the middle of the night, I can hear your sigh.
Shouting to those who stare outside the azure sky.
Your scent instills to my soul a feeling of calm.
Away from the abyss, reality at the edge of a chasm.
It's approaching from the insights of time; I'm aware.
As the stream of the tide is on, the echo tries to dare.
Who may tenderly persuade me to care tunes?
Who may soothe my soul with peculiar vivid boons?
And protect me with the fulness of his quietness.
Of life span glorious nights to the day's countless.
In a meadow of velvety, wispy willows by the lake.
In the chilling pre-fall breezes, we quiver and shake.
There is no limit to how distal and deep you might cease!
Currently, this still life scene is denuded of the breeze.
From swards, tremors, and wilderness to dull blue height.
The skyline is illuminated by a swarm of merciful light.
A few trees appear to be nuzzling the sky under the gray.
However, none can match the splendor of wood's hooray!

Nip my nose! Pound at my core!
I’ll frame a warm blanket ‘round thighs and toes.
Decorate with icicles door-to-door!
My darling and me, nuzzling like eskimos.
Together we can take anything that Winter throws.
Throw a softball of snow my way
and I will merrily call in the snowmen brigade.
They come armed with carrots and stones…olé!
Dear Winter, who will come to your aid?
I shiver! I’m afraid!
Forget about that, I’ll take a nice sleigh ride
down a glistening hill,
with my honey-bear by my side.
With speed bumps, it’s quite a thrill.
Please Winter, don’t set out to kill.
Bitty flakes on my lashes, shoulders; I shake.
My sweetheart will take off my scarf, coat and boots.
So warm by the hearth, we’ll not soon awake.
Before that…we drink cocoa, eat cake with dried fruits.
We will dream of you, Old Man Winter and your pursuits.
