A Most Distant Sun

A most distant sun
Blesses light on our union
As we feint through life.

Premium Member A Midnight Romance

The sunset left bright colors,
and by-and-by
cerulean and crimson layers wove
designs that blazed beneath
the moonlit sky
and spread a fiery glow
upon their cove.

On the placid lake
the mirrored colors
reflected all the beauty
of this night, and with such splendor,
lovers would partake
and stir their fire
beneath night's sky delight.

Her porcelain, smooth
ivory face glowed
against her sable-brown,
long, silky hair.
The ash of roses on
her cheeks soon showed
the smoke and heat of passion in the air.

And midnight romance led
their hearts to twine
by the beauty of sweet nature's hand,
and enjoyed their rhapsody
of love divine
with blazing hearts
upon this night so grand.

Black Antlers

Take her on a vol —

Demure archempress
My antler queen, blood
in the dirt, declare death
sentences, dance around
the fire with wolves, friends
and victims of the wilderness

[I lost my feelings in a pile of
clothes, I pick my emotions from
a closet, I spoiled my heart rotten,
Holy — I want the demons on my
side, over my dead body — Spirit
on my side, over my dead body]

Will I see Heaven’s gardens?
Just put carnations and
chrysanthemums around me,
Let me float in Sicilian waters
by the palazzo’s olive groves
when sangue leaves are falling
on the gods that decide to call me

I Love You

I love you…
not in the noise of blossoms
screaming their radiance into spring
but in the way roots strip themselves into
world's silence, quiet, hidden
yet steadfast in every tempest

I love you…
in the silence that follows laughter
when memory brushes gentle against my chest
and I know that even years cannot erase
the warmth sent in your name.

I love you…
like the coastline greets the tide
forever restoring
even when the waters are hauled away
by the pull of far-off moons.

I love you…
not because love is endless,
but because even in endings
you are the place
I begin.

Two Blue

Blue ocean by the sky
When will I come?
Love with me
Romantic interlude
Looking at the sky and sea
Meet and fall in love.

Premium Member Garden of Love

Will you meet me in the garden of love,
and kiss me in the light of a Moon-Flower,
then dance with me in the Rain-Lilies,
our Love-In-A-Mist from a midnight shower,

We could whisper sweet floriography,
As you shoot at me with Cupid's-Dart,
until our Love-Lies-Bleeding in a floral bed,
entangled in a String-of-Hearts,

If I could be your Morning-Glory,
Would you look at me with Starry-Eyes,
then Kiss-Me-Over-The-Garden-Gate,
as we fall in love under pastel skies,

Would you picture me as a Bleeding-Heart,
a reflection of thine own,
And will you promise to Forget-Me-Not,
cause flowers die, but memories won't

Steal Away

Let us steal away to meet beneath the pines
Among the moss and lichen we will find
Two bodies set aflame with souls entwined
Coals smolder in your heart and you are mine

Let us steal away to meet beside the shore
Among the dunes and beach grass we’ll explore
Two bodies that have scorched this sand before
Waves break upon my heart and I am yours.

Premium Member Return to Me

A child, I, when you touched my heart and mind,
so meaningful, but also undefined.
Like faerie dust, you left me behind.
There, my unceasing, lifelong search began.

Inside songs and art, I hoped to catch it,
seeking the poetic words to match it,
But from the thin air, I could not snatch it.
'Twas teasingly, from me, you skipped and ran.

I looked for you in a girl's touch and smile,
in nature's every teeming sunlit mile.
You nimbly eluded me all the while.
Ephemeral sprite, I'm a beaten man.

Oh, please visit me soon, my long-lost friend,
or we'll both be dust blowing in the wind.

Premium Member Nature and Me

Rainbows from a storm set up,
Left dazzling colors of hues
Clouds in the backdrop start to fade away
I think of sugar plums dancing in play.

The sun sends out its rays of light,
Winds in the air blowing just right
A drizzle of rain comes around
Not a drop of it hit the ground.

Nature, I do love its flowering smell,
And I can only begin to story-tell
That I've had this long-lasting affair
Where I and nature do not despair.

It is with her that gives me ease,
She's never failed me, she has always pleased
She breathes me in as I enter her woods
She took my hand, and there I stood.

Nature and her acceptance of me,
Free my mind of all drudgeries
She breathes me in as I enter her woods
She is beautiful to me, she's misunderstood

Dinner made lovely
For momentous sandy beach
Epic love journey.

Premium Member Fall Song with Joanna Daniel

Fall flourishes with flighty flair,
a silent song upon the air.
Melody of fading ember,
all in spirit, rhythm, and timbre.
In Her heart, a tenuous tune
flirting with a bold maroon moon.
She has not sung this song before,
an unearthly, uplifting score.

Morendo a niente, fades out,
catching Her breath in subtle shout.
Crescendo of color escapes
in multidimensional shapes.
Catching currents Her breath has blown,
paves the path with scattered seeds sown.
Her name is carved on every tree
She has conceived her legacy.

Dulcet, the voice of Autumn sways,
Presto agitato, She plays,
Leaves flutter in a rustling dance,
taking part in russet romance.
What sweet music tingles the trees!
Baring bold birches, blows the breeze,
Arias aired in harmony
with woods akin bleeding honey.

Enjoy Fall's vibrant banjo beats,
as she raps with hued leafy sheets,
whispering soft kisses and dreams,
Refrains released in umber streams.
Foliage tanned and tinted brown
tango with harvest's golden gown,
Autumnal chorus slow tingles,
Join in with Her joyful jingles.
