Naturals Poems | Examples

FOUR ELEMENTS

     Earth to give
      form...
     Water to give
      spirit...
     Fire to give
      heat...
     air to give
      breath...
In the great crucible
of nature, only
    four essences
    to create life...
    To make
    the universe vibrate...!

COUPLET
After a couple of Tequila Sunrise
so I swap my drink that'll keep open my eyes
so I had a glass of Kahlua and cream
that's a blunder as I fell into a dream

INNER RHYME
I awoke that felt like a cape of good dope
morning sun I think of myself as undone
but what finds me amiss is what all of this
all awry the land slants slights but not the sky

END RHYME
No matter where I roam sand sea smells like home
glad I be if it's true but sad though I knew
a place that's all new naught a place where I grew
I walk and I moan knowing I am alone

RHYME
Flowers of blinding beauty scents that steal souls
sandy beaches where surf surges and tides ebb
eddibles and delectables island naturals
but minus the faces I know ease my schlep.

Slick Olympic Quick Trick

When the temp goes down smiles come out.
You can hear the cheers of athletes shout.
Coming from competitors of all walks of life.
Piercing the chill like butter with a hot knife.

Strapping up ski boots to hit the steep slopes.
Some rookies are naturals learning the ropes.
Bundled up and ready to get up from a spill.
Back to flying down that flurry covered hill.

Helping cheer up a buddy short on confidence.
Since sportsmanship pays us back in cents.
There’s more than one winner in every race.
If you do your best, the prize is on your face.

So whether standing on skates or skis.
Or falling and pushing on with sore knees.
There’s a champ fighting to better ourself.
This isn’t for the glory, it’s to feel real health.

Count them out and they’re coming up winners.
Earning every bite of the hot recovery dinners.
So enjoy the show, because they’re having fun.
No matter the standings of when it’s all done.

Mama where are the children
Where are your children now
Ooh and Mama how have you raised them
Nurturer and saving them how?

God has called you
His daughter whose
A vessel for Humanity

Mama where the darlings
All of those charming, souls wow
Spiritual Father, Abba Father
From Eve to Mary to my own mom

All mothers are mothers
All nurturers are naturals
More than just a womb
Harvesting a human being

Mama these are the darlings
Those are the children
Those whom in your care you bare
We thank God for those whom are mothers

Those whom are God's daughters
Hallelujah

Wielded Waves Assemble

flimsy feelings stretched
fetish finger drenched
drips' dances best
mystic melody's crest
lanky lust's lurched
bounty biddings burst

now drips contracted
feeble earth fermented
oozing gores; dehydrated

airy atmosphere blushed
overseeing the crush;
naturals went nuts

wielded waves assemble
ocean's birth dribble.

~Note~ My myth on how the ocean was created: A drenched finger was pointed to earth, and it dripped till the waters contracted into a spot. The earth puked his,and waves were formed. Then, ocean's birth dribble.

Fish

Just an ugly fish, floundering
Dueling the callous current
The water is polluted
Like my soul, corrupted
Like my thoughts, sickening
Just an ugly fish
Jealous of the fish who are naturals at swimming
Everyone but me makes it look so easy
The sky seems so much bluer
Than this putrid gray water
What if I were meant to fly
Not to swim?
Just an ugly fish
Never fit into any school
The others know I don't belong
Just an ugly fish

To Drown In Sorrow

It is now on the brink of dawn
I find myself emotionally withdrawn
Caught again this breath of mine
Within me holding remaining confined.
Breathing being the most naturals of things
Not to me for life it brings
Another set back another beginning
All the mistakes my head still spinning
Broken in half then half once more
My heart is gone like before
Inside my shell barely peeking out
Hidden, full of self doubt
Some would say my wounds I'm licking
But fact is I have no time the clock keeps ticking
I fiddle nervously as my thoughts continue to race
I look out at life trying to find a starting place
But too much pain comes with tomorrow
I withdraw to drown in sorrow

Alone In Sorrow

It is now on the brink of dawn
I find myself emotionally withdrawn
Caught again this breath of mine
Within me holding remaining confined.
Breathing being the most naturals of things
Not to me for life it brings

All the mistakes my head still spinning
Broken in half then half once more
My heart is gone like before

Now Where Were We

Oh yeah, Trump is President and many people are running scared
What he's saying they resent saying things no one else had dared
You got the Russians and the Chinese, good old N. Korea and Iran
Trump tweeting as he so does please but does he even have a plan

And Israel, now they are very pissed, that crazy vote at the U.N.
The vote the U.S. missed thus the latest resolution passed then
And how about all this computer hacking seems like every day
Big Brother look how good he's tracking, every step of the way

Those earthquakes keep coming and the naturals disasters too
All the wars, so numbing, each of them people like me and you
Seems like we pretty much lost our way in so tossing God aside
When really it's ourselves we betray for all of this involves pride

So as Donald tweets away, the Russians continue to maneuver
In China it's a new day, for things will never be like they were
Yet there is one way out of this mess unlikely as one may find
But the Lord did often Bless all of those people who were blind

Premium Member Learn To Dance

Got a party coming up
I need to learn some moves
so I listened to the all-time greats
for tips on how to groove.
These music legends from times past
should know the moves to use
but what they say is conflicting
and now I'm just confused.
Curtis Mayfield sang 'move on up'
Dobie Gray sang 'get on down'
but someone else says 'get on up'
can't argue with James Brown.
'Let your backbone slip' says Otis Redding
(he sat on the dock)
but last time that I tried that move
the darned thing went and locked.
Chubby Checker did the twist
but that just gives me gyp,
Van Halen reckon I should jump
more likely that I'll trip.
On second thoughts, I'll sit it out,
ignore the dance floor action.
If I take on all of this advice
I'll just end up in traction.
Some dancers are pure naturals
it's how their body's wired,
in my case it's much simpler-
I'm getting old.
And tired.

His luck depends on the roll of the dice.
For most of the night, they are cold as ice.
A twelve, three, or two, crapping out is nothing new.
Seven and eleven naturals are overdue.
Everything is the same in this sleazy joint.
A seven out usually follows the establishment of a point.
His luck is so bad, his situation is so sad.
He has lost just about everything he had.
Money talks in this place, and it says “goodbye”.
Nevertheless, the sucker will be back for another try.

Milk and Cookies

Batman had Robin,
Abbott had his Lou,
Harvey had his rabbit,
Just as I have you

Like milk and cookies
Naturals together since times of yore
And our President Bill Clinton
Had his friend Al Gore

Like Peace and War
Tolstoy's famous book
And magazines so alike
Like "Life" had it's "Look"

I walk in nirvana
Unsure if this is true
And you can count on
A love forever for you
