Tomorrow is simply a taunt
of questions asked long ago,
maybe the anwers bring tempest
or maybe an extravaganza
ready to be played with great zeal;
relax in the shade of the chiquichiqui*
our anwers will come as they must,
with patience we'll greet the new day!

Amidst summer’s day
Post middle school finale
In the concrete valley
A vanguard viking lay
We gathered as a ragtag crew
Peeled his corpse off the floor
Carrying him, despite the gore.
To the stream, as we knew what to do
Fashioning a mausoleum of straw
Hoping he felt no disdain,
His grave enveloped in flame
And gently floated away.
It was there I thought to myself,
“What is the meaning of it all?”

I roning clothes – I love that job. Oh, my gosh!
L aundering them first is another one
O f numerous chores that let me wash
V arious things. Wash this or that. How fun!
E ven pots and pans! I must say . . .
H ow much more pleasure can there even be?
O n my hands and knees most of the day
U sing so much zeal makes me feel so free.
S uch a good place to be in mind and soul.
E very day I search for things that I can dust.
W ithout things to wipe off, what might be my role?
O ven cleaning. What joy! Mopping – a must!
R are are nights that early to bed I go.
K eeping up chores, I sing Heigh Ho Heigh Ho!

Sparkling chemistry between artist and ballerina
Under the apricot sky, they exude verve and zeal
Ballerina twirls, poses, and blows kisses; like magic
Law of Attraction catches them unaware. How feverish!
In the gloaming, the artist sketches his comely muse
Mesmerised by her lithe grace and magnetism
Eureka! They find love before long. A sublime alchemy

Got a fierce understanding for the Lord
But I know you don't understand
Why? Ya misbehaven now
But I got me free choice see
I got a fierce understanding of the Lord
And my understanding is
That once I've repented
And I've resented
Been forgiven
Now I'm winnin
Been giving mercy

My Muse is very fickle
at night he likes to tickle
at times he wants me to chase
and others times I can find no trace
but when I have him we are like lovers
no matter where I am he follows and hovers
I just have to ask and he gives me all I desire
he gives me words so that my poems can fly higher
and when I am sad he wraps his arms around me like a cloak
he whispers sweetly in my ear and my bowed head he will stroke

During the time I had,
I sat beneath a tree.
Even though I was always sad,
The comfort of the tree made me feel free.
The dark would come and I would have to go.
I would go back in the morning sun,
To feel free and remember what I know.
But why mus' I leave?
There's no need to leave this tree.
I left for good.
Goodbye autumn leaves.
It's almost like being conjoined and then ripped part,
For I loved this tree from the start.

I switch on some ethereal New Age music
and pick up a pen and start to write verse
My mind brings forth images of peace
The music drives away whatever left - over fears
I had during the day
I am recovering from a life - threatening illness and must take card
The pianist on my New Age CD plays a simple tune
I hear violins in the bakground
Poetry and music
I hope they surround me all my days
I have been to the Holy Land
Walked whee Jesus walked
I mus try to stay in shape
so I can see more of this world
Yet there is a line from a George Harrison song
which says"The farther one travels - the less one knows"
The truth is inside you and me brothers and sisters
We will grab the brass ring of inner peace
Soon enough

If We Don Need Um-Why Feed Um
We do not need to feed -
who we do not need
Every since they yelled
thar's gold in dem dar hills
dars oil in dat der groun
there's
diamons in dat der mine
there is salt in dat mine
ders water in dat well
dars feritle soil on
dem peoples lan.
Poor people have become
a means to an end
disposable-dispensable
unemployable
slavery is still a commodity.
Build new prisons -
keep them on reservations.
Bring in the cheaper workers
Bring in the desperado's
and they know how
to suffer in silence.
These others make to much noise
and these union boys.-unwieldy
They've had their day-
They've had there say.
There's GMO'S in
them dar fish N chickn's
tomatoes and corn..
Feed um fuel ,no more sugar cane-
Syrup from the corn or bust.
Eat that they mus !
They'll soon be insane,feed um dat;
And other poison food stuff.
We don need um -why feed um HUH?
Did I mention we can
now use their pensions..
( Song)
If you R happy
and you know it
then your
face will surly show it
if you R happy
and you know it ...say ?

Causing duppy and living to stand to dem feet.

So be careful who you meet, kiss or greet
Cause duppy no longer walk only a night pan di streets.
