Many poems are spoiled by saying too much. The reader must be allowed to participate, fill in spaces with his or her own feelings, or the experience becomes a lecture...and I have hated those since childhood

In a few concise words, if there is such a thing as Free Will...it must be omnipotent. Anything less, is simply manipulated illusion. Something outside ourselves controlling all possible variables including time and space.

Men are designed to be warriors, but, does that mean that they must wipe each other out? No, it means that men must endure life´s difficulties, to build, to improve, to assist others and help those in need. August 2026.

What will you give up in order to get it?

With me poetry is about subduing one's conditioned mental reflexes, and allowing purer inert forces to take control of the stylus. In short, poetry should be about transcending the physical into realms of the metaphysical. The heart of great writing is spiritual and not commercial. One must take the "I" out of a work as much as creatively possible.

I am really resenting AI in the Arts. It is not the death of art, because artists will do art no matter what. Always there will be small gatherings of innovative creative individuals. But none will make a buck at it. Commercial mediocrity will rule...young people will never develop the skills needed to produce unique, personal products. It will hurt soul and spirit development -- the devil must be overjoyed. Another appealing way to keep humanity on the surface layer of creation.

If someone says "We cannot know anything for certain" We must ask "Do you know that statement for certain? If we cannot know anything for certain, we cannot know that we cannot know anything for certain. Linguistics is rendered useless by that claim. Of course I believe that we can know things for certain because of God and His certain character. Naturalism cannot compete with that claim.

The ultimate mystery all of us must penetrate is the human heart and its fathomless capacity to love friend and enemy alike with the same undisturbed compassion.
