Chilling

I switch on some ethereal New Age music 
and pick up a pen and start to write verse
My mind brings forth images of peace 
The music drives away whatever left - over fears 
I had during the day 
I am recovering from a life - threatening illness and must take card
The pianist  on my New Age CD plays a simple tune 
I hear violins in the bakground
Poetry and music  
I hope they surround me all my days
I have been to the Holy Land 
Walked whee Jesus walked 
I mus try to stay in shape 
so I can see more of this world
Yet there is a line from a George Harrison song 
which says"The farther one travels  - the less one knows"
The truth is inside you and me brothers and sisters 
We will grab the brass ring of inner peace
Soon enough
