Mascots Poems

Premium Memberwe are the mighty mighty miestanders

We are the miestanders, a super proud religious group
almost thicker than friends in a traveling circus troupe
we wrote our own Bible; we’ve formed our own church
Don’t put us down, make fun or do any besmirch.

we are the miestanders, a very closed religious group.
our daily mantra includes a pair of socks and a red hoola hoop.
having fun and being silly are two of our main ideas, of course.
we have three mascots – a skunk, a mouse and a Clydesdale horse.

Of course you cannot join, you were not born on this side of main.
We are a snotty closed group, but you can sing the refrain.
We are the miestanders, we look down on others.
A group of miscreants, both sisters and brothers.

Premium MemberFear

The chilling night crept in
leaving the door open to hairy, scary thoughts
my dare thin

freaky faces
tying my stomach into knots!
races

austere
ghostly mascots
fear!

The chilling night crept in
tying my stomach into knots!
fear!

Animals forced to do man's fatal, dirty work
Penalised by the superior species
Men without sanity, crazy, berserk
Dogs delivering bombs get blown to pieces,

Animal mascots, monkeys, pigs, cats
Bat bombs fall, canisters with parachutes
Explosive grenades stuffed inside dead rats
Mules carrying goods, war tank substitutes,

Animals feel pain, depression, dreaded fear
Extreme injuries, wound camp training day
No animal rights, cheap lousy career
Hounds carry notes with messages to relay,

Animals in war forgotten victims ~
Lest we forget we sacrificed millions

The Ice Hog Family are mascots of Winterlude
Ottawa's celebration featuring fantastic ice sculptures
Makes the Capitol famous
Even somewhat audacious
The ice sculptures are magnificent and beyond description

Cereal Killers

The the real maniacs to dread
Are ones you don't think will kill you
Not the murderers in the news you once read
In the morning think about who's in view

Why do you fear a man like john Wayne Gacy
He's locked away and cannot harm you
A guy who should really make you worry
Is the kid who always Liked it, Little Mikey

Don't think that you may get eaten by Jeffery Dahmer
There is no need to worry
You need to think about getting eaten by Tony the Tiger
Don't think he won't hurt you just because he's furry

Don't get scared by the BTK Killer
While eating breakfast there's an animal that you see
He may laugh but be afraid of Woody Woodpecker
He has a sharp beak and is as dangerous as can be

You shouldn't waste your time being scared of Ted Bundy
Just another with no one left to scare
When eating his charms there's a killer leprechaun who feels lucky
It's him that you really need to fear

The last is don't think about Charles Manson
He may be the worst
But in the morning when you hear a crunch be aware of the Cap'n
Of the dangerous morning mascots he ranks first

Premium MemberKawaii

watching anime, she feigns
a high scream of glee, seeing
where a mushroom cloud should be. . . .
a flower rises

*Kawaii means “Cute.” Japan has become the
culture of “cuteness” and “Kawaii” is often uttered,
especially by young girls, on seeing anything they
deem adorable or pretty. It is seen in anime - the
Japanese cartoons - and in mascots such as Hello
Kitty and focuses on “otaku” which is a kind of
“pop cult fanaticism“ which some see as an escape
from the reality of the horrible trauma of WWII.

Drooping

For a desolatory trident
I was feeding my anger.
I could not do it, sell
myself for punitive lenses of my calculus.

A nymphalid arsenal.
The war was still going on
to strike in deep poctets, demolishing
nascent hope. Future will

ponder at the mascots. The grief
of rags and riches will continue
listening to eternal conflicts.
The wounds will develop whiskers.

Not for the opulent pain in the body :
we were crying for the glory of the man
which was disappearing fast,
under the whirling snow of broken stars.

Important Safety Information

Like all prescription Coulrophobias, CLOWNS may increase the chance of heart disease
or risk factors for it, such as high blood pressure of when clowns are seen for long
periods.

CLOWNS should not be seen right before or after certain heart surgeries.

Serious skin reactions or stomach and intestine problems such as colourful bleeding and
humorous ulcers, can occur without warning and may cause animal balloons. Elderly
patients and those taking cotton candy are at increased risk for stomach bleeding and
ulcers.

Tell your doctor if you have: a history of passing out at the circus, fleeing from mascots
or kidney and liver problems. CLOWNS should not be seen in late pregnancy.

Do not see CLOWNS if you’ve had an asthma attack, hives or other allergic reactions to
bad magic tricks or any other Coulrophobia medicine or drugs called red nose.

Life threatening allergic reactions can occur with CLOWNS. Get help right way if you’ve
had swelling of the face or trouble breathing.

Prescription CLOWNS should be seen exactly as prescribed at the lowest dose possible
and for the shortest time needed.

Premium MemberContradictions of Life

Two major contradictions in life can bring you to your knees
Like opposing sisters in a family, as one arrives, the other leaves
Comedy and tragedy…

Two mascots, hovering above every life
One brings gifts of joy and laughter; the other brings pain and strife
Comedy and tragedy…

Mirth has a mind of her own desiring to stick around like glue
But her seemingly jealous sister, is most often misunderstood
Comedy and tragedy…

Each one unique in the role which they play
They seem to keep some balance on life’s revolving stage
Comedy and tragedy…

It has never crossed my mind, just how insane living here would be
If we all experienced only rain, without the sun how would species feed?
Comedy and tragedy…

Note: For Dr. Ram's "Tragedy is more enjoyable that Comedy"
