I don’t recognize this container I’m in.
Where did it come from and when?
It happened overnight, I thought I had time.
I thought I had braced myself for this inevitable transition.
But when the obvious became real
I was still caught off guard
Not willing now to sanction this transmutation.
It’s frustrating being forced to accept these changes.
I never agreed, show me where and when I signed up for it!
My mind tricked me.
The way I think is childlike and silly.
But the other day I went to scratch my head, and what I saw on my arms,
Made me feel scammed and caused me dread!
The fish scale, wrinkles and hanging muscles.
These can’t be my arms they’re my grandmothers.
I looked closer at this organism
And was astonished to find so many areas falling behind.
Where are the protocols in place to prevent this?
Where are the protocolist, The manufacturers warranties,
And general implements and installments.
I paid in all my life
And this is the assurance my insurance gives me.
Damn, I wish I would have read the small print.
Oh yeah, promoters of war...
How long will this mass massacre endure!?
How many more do you want to make
homeless, starving and struggling to survive
You can't feed the poor or help the needy,
But you always buy weapons for destruction
Have anything, country, city, place etc. flourish amidst war??
Oh yeah suicide bombers
How far have you been programmed
To act without thinking or reasoning
How many more massacre
Do you wanna commit
I'm not saying I'm perfect
But we all know what is right from wrong
Does it amuse or benefit you whenever you kill?
Oh yeah weapons manufacturers
How long will you keep manufacturing
Weapons for selfish desires ?
When we can end war
By making this world a better place
Like Michael Jackson
There's a place in your heart, I know it's love.
There's no hurt or sorrow in love not lust
We're the ones to make this world a better place
END THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA!!!
Do older women wear gloves
To hide their wrinkles?
Camouflage their age spots?
To try to look fancy, dainty or demure?
To look feminine?
They usually wear pink, white, yellow or light green gloves.
Few of them wear black gloves.
Is this on purpose or by accident?
Maybe manufacturers never make black tea gloves
What is up with older women’s hair?
Why do they dye it power blue, pink and lavender?
Are they trying to be punky?
I began to spy on them, to try and figure it out.
I watched them waddle into churches yesterday
All puffed, pumped and primed.
Only one was stumbling on heels
Why do older women wear flats?
I am my own confidant
I breathe with my own lungs
I learn with my own mind
I chose a partner with my own heart
Although I still depend on other necessities
Food and rice are cultivated by farmers
Clothing is fashioned by tailors
Vehicles are produced by manufacturers
Houses are constructed by carpenters
Medicine is prepared by doctors
Even the restroom is provided by others
People from all nations and religions
Create meaningful things to share
Support and love one another
Only a few leaders are cruel and selfish
They view themselves as superior to others
They do not prioritize living in peace
Embrace immorality and wage brutal wars
Whatever is good is divine,
Whoever chooses wrong is entwined with evil,
Let the foul pollute themselves,
And those who lie, let them continue their tales.
Bad liars must have good memories.
Today, my passion is my solace,
It helps me navigate the madness around me.
It only takes one, two, three to trigger my anxiety.
"The thoughts you resist persist," they say.
With the positive energy I hold,
I greet you all with a hearty welcome and a smile,
Letting you know I appreciate every one of you.
Whatever is good is divine,
Whoever chooses wrong is just evil.
My life is an open book, revealed in my poetry.
Some seek plastic surgery to better themselves,
I improve my mind with my writing.
Words are my friends, surrounding me.
As my broken heart aches, my writing improves,
Like a crying baby given a lollipop.
At times, the sound of rain calms me,
Lying awake won't help, but the tick-tock of rain might.
I choose my words carefully,
For manufacturers lie at times,
And one size doesn't fit all. Because the manufacturers lie at times
All sizes don’t fit all.
Love is loving everything
Love God with all your life
Love your neighbour as yourself
Love your enemy
Love the unlovable
Love the helpless in life
Love the environment
Love the things you hate the most
Love your work
Love you craft
Love your culture and its people
Love your country and its leader
Love the inventors and innovators
Love the laborers and farmers
Love the manufacturers
Love the economist and the thinkers
Love the peace advocates
Love the scientists and the physicist
Love the businessman and the executives
Love all people of the world
Love yourself.
The air is foetid and breathing is so difficult.
The open window allows floating debris,
To spread its pungent staleness over all.
It’s a difficult struggle for sunlight to shine
Through the clouded fog we must inhale.
I see more pallid faces of people at the portal.
Where I read trees and flowers once grew,
Is now an industrial slum with a thick oil slick,
Oozing across the land, dead trees pillaged.
A cemetery for what once was, a thing called beauty.
Nothing that can be described that way still exists.
Farms had to die in the regal name of progress.
Oceans of fish polluted and poisoned, whales extinct.
No sand left on our beaches, Coral reefs destroyed.
Shorelines stinking and black, streams contaminated.
Waters have risen and islands sunk into the seas.
A novelty to see one of the remaining birds,
Concrete replaced something they used to call grass.
Praise the pharmaceutical manufacturers
Producing pills with vitamins to feed us and keep us alive.
Some daysI feel it's time to move and
live by the sea, especially when the ghosts of
Altoona are haunting me..
Many cities in Pa., so rich in history,
They were hey days in their time.
It's no mystery...
This once-booming railroad town
is still being visited by those now underground..
Home to the infamous Horse Shoe Curve, with
its one-way tunnel that will truly unnerve..
Many unsuspecting drivers attempted to navigate
and met their swift untimely fate...
At 17th Street, a circus train derailed. Again, many
lost their lives as the animals all bailed.
Just like a used tire that manufacturers retread,
some people that die by accident are unaware that they are dead.
Most days I just pray and ask them to kindly move on, for
the ghosts of Altoona, I wave my magic wand.
Buses
Dear Buses
Daily you commutes us humans from one place to another
You do not hiss
You do not cry
You are so patient
You are so enduring
Without you we humans could not have reached our destinations
Without you our journeys would have been slow and dull
You provides employment to many people
From drivers to conductors
From bus manufacturers to bus sellers
Without you we are Nothing!
Whatever is good is God.
Whomever chooses to be bad is just evil
So let the foul pollute himself.
Whomever continues to lie let them lie
bad liars must have good memories:
Today, my avocation is what help me
Its help deal with the madness, that surround me:
It only takes the one, two, three to set off my anxiety
“The thoughts you resist persist.” quote:
The positive energy I retain, I immediately give off
a hearty welcome, with a smile is just letting you all know
That I appreciated every one of you.
Whatever is good is God:
Whomever, chooses to be bad is just evil
My life is an open book, as I reveal it my poetry writing
Some folks do plastic surgery to better themselves
I improve my minds with my writing,
Words are my friends, so I surrounded myself with words
As my broken heart hurt me my writing improve like
A crying baby who was given a lollipop:
At times brain sax calm me,
Lying awake wouldn’t help the situation,
But the tick Tok tick sound of rain, might:
I choose my words carefully,
Because the manufacturers lie at times
All sizes don’t fit all.
Reliability is hard to come by, I hear a sigh
Product insurance is offered when you buy
Manufacturers do build obsolescence in
Sellers know you’ll be coming back again.
Product insurance is offered when you buy
The appliance is not meant to last forever,
Sellers know you’ll be coming back again
A dependency dealers are reluctant to sever.
The appliance is not meant to last forever
Malfunctioning when you need it most,
A dependency dealers are reluctant to sever
Their product is the very best, they boast.
Malfunctioning when you need it most
You are forced to buy a replacement,
Their product is the very best, they boast,
But, now it’s in a box in your basement!
You are forced to buy a replacement
With the same promises and guarantees
But, now it’s in a box in your basement,
Life is a vicious cycle of these certainties.
With the same promises and guarantees
Product insurance is offered when you buy,
Life is a vicious cycle of these certainties,
Reliability is hard to come by, I hear a sigh.

Who names these medications
The commercials always tout?
Since one is weirder than the next,
I’d like to find that out.
Xeljanz and Trulicity,
Cosentyx and Tremfya
Join with manufacturers
Who might Abilify ya.
I picture people in a room
With lettered cubes who toss ‘em
To see which combinations stick,
Deciding some are awesome.
To me, they sound ridiculous
No matter what they’re used for
And viewers, seeing names like these,
Could never be confused more.
