Every father trying to earn
A little more than usual;
Every mother trying to save,
A penny more than the other months;
Every child adding in piggy banks,
As much, sacrificing sugar candies;
Every grandfather and mother,
Manually contributing for preparation,
At the end, sharing with neighbors,
Little joys of the God-given season;
Makes Christmas more enjoyable,
Than pleasure gained, out of rich legacy...

Rigged Up

Rigged Up
Laid out to pasture the company doesn’t want us
We don’t get our severance pay so we turn on them
Like they turned on us the day they made us sign
We belonged to them then and we were slaves
Made to work in the forest cutting down trees
Or in the lead mines manually extracting the ore
We found Uranium and rigged a crude bomb
Soon the company will all be in flames
We all will be free of their evil tentacles
Even the dead who now are in peace

Boulders

By George P. Lumayag
https://georgelumayag.weebly.com/

It's hard to move the boulders;
it's hard to roll them manually; and
it's hard to push them away from each other.

I just stay in between them
and climb on the top of the massive one.

African Kolanut

I see a seed of white colouration,
And pink pigmentation.
Manually easy to divide,
Not ritually difficult to provide.

I see the financially easy to handle,
A culturally accepted candle.
Announcer of a host’s good wishes,
Much more treasured than his dishes.

A proof of the giver’s honest intention
And summary of his cheerful disposition.
Alligator pepper is its errand boy,
Content to seem all through its toy:
Garden eggs readily surrendering its portfolio,
Their services adjusted relatively hollow.

Very correct to link it with West Africa
And just as flawless with The Tropical;

Consumer keep impressing its pleasant bitterness:
A continual patience with its induced giddiness…
The gods are served the best kolanut
To have the mouth of Evil amazingly shut!

Crying Africa

Rape her not,
For She, is the daughter of beauty.
But she has been manually abused
By her four living children,
North, West, South and East Africa.
She cries in ancient and black suns.

Using her as a vamp,
In generating a so-called revenue?
She cries tears of blood.
Bleeds in the continuous present,
In an imperfect, old, and unlikely future.

She cries from dark eyes,
With unfortunate tears,
A vast and geographic cry.
She is an abundance of natural resources,
But still she cries,
Of roads, schools, and hospitals.

She cries of hot pains,
Like blood leaving her veins and arteries,
Of salty tears.
She cries in corruption and depression.

Premium Member Ticket To Heaven

Ticket booth requests destination
manually I type your name,
a mathematical equation
couldn't convince me to abstain,

Catching despair in my reflection
streetlights flounce, dreary windowpanes
tracking raindrops with affection,
pining for your embrace, once again

Traveling express train to heaven
station platforms, fleeting by
mimicking photographs in my mind,
camera rolls, flicker the sky

About the Wall

Rocks upon boulders ranging in size
Manually placed to ostracise-
Cultured people whom a free,
Such a shame, a great pity.

About the wall, the cold obstruction
Causing such and much destruction,
Crass creation of corruption,
Undeserving of production.

Who are they to improvise-
Our creators' grand devise?
Woods and people they've outgrown;
Paradoxically hurting their own.

An Old Scribe

Once my grandfather held my hand,
I am going to show you something,
this secret you should not tell anyone,
I nodded in excitement as we walked towards the attic,
in one corner of attic lay an antique desk,
on top of it was a broken antique lamp,
He opened a wooden box,
it had a frayed book,
This is an old work son, written during 15th century BC,
"one of your great grandfather was a scribe,
at those times printing press was not there,
scribes would manually copy all documents"
he showed me some brushes made of reeds,
"they would dip these in ink to write,
pen was not invented by then".

That day I could not sleep,
I imagined an old scribe writing patiently, meticulously...

And here I was cribbing about few pages of homework,
that too written in bad handwriting!

Thank God! Someone invented the printing press
I can never be a scribe.

She Stood Still

Once a year
Without fear
At her apex
Sunlight sex.

Life giver
Soul shriveller
Crop raiser
Harsh gazer.

Light glows love
Bright above
Warming hearts
Melting parts.

Manually
Annually
On my knees
"Shine on, please!"

The Pleasure Melt

The drops were saying something, one day.
The tinkle answered to every with a yes.
The commotion of senses was manually stopped since
eyes were closed.
particles recruited only the relaxed sanity, verges blunt with ease in the flow.

The moulds are designed to be felt, acknowledged.
The rhymes of the patterns spoke of balance and unobjectionable, layers remained.
Tangled cliches got overthrew by the murmur still making their way.

The plates of soundless aroma, dropped from air
in air.

Made Manually By Hand

Made Manually By Hand

Socialism has been known to break us all
Causing stock one climbing starting to fall
Competition declining and becoming slower
Inflation rate increase that once was slower.

Economics is related to supply and demand
Automatic Manufacturing or manual by hand
More and more surplus off of assembly line
Already bought and part of yours and mine.

Resources are mined from underground
New shiny grocery store soon will be found
After further thought and contemplation
Another new bank is beside a gas station.

This is way economics always does evolve
Many problems exist that we can still solve
After the utilization of our unlimited talents
Hopefully each year budget will be balanced.

A Place In the Sun

Where meadows gleam and blaze after a rainfall,
beyond balmy hills appears an inimitable rainbow
that His mind wanted to create, not manually draw...
feel vibrant life as you breath joy and wait for nightfall!

Immersed in the spectacle of Creation, each one of us
mustn't believe that it came from matter as they declare;
belief is not faith, it is shallower than the falsity of words...
gaze at that rainbow: wouldn't anyone proclaim His name?

Unbelievers, in our materialistic age, have set aside their trust in God
and have rebelled against Him to satisfy their selfish egos...
not understanding that what He has created is for our good:
happiness is not found in gems and gold, but by contemplating rainbows!

Once I believed like them, denying everything beautiful and grand,
but something inside troubled me deeply, I stopped and prayed....
and suddenly revelation came to me transforming me entirely:
my look travelled far to meet the blazing red sunset ensuing serenity!

E-File Your Income Tax

E-File Your Tax—Heck Yes!

By Elton Camp

It’s out with the old and in with the new
Filing income tax online is the way to do

Making a return manually I’ve always hated
But doing it online I felt a little intimidated

Complicated situations still need to see a CPA
But for most of us, filing online is the best way

What once I considered to be an onerous chore
I don’t nearly as much mind doing anymore

Gather your records and just plow right in
The software will show you the way to win

What was complex and needlessly obscure
With e-filing, that I’m doing right I’m sure

My return done & submitted in a little while
So it was off to watch television with a smile

And one of the most surprising things to me
Most people can get the federal done free

And if you decide you want it to do the state
The small charge is one that you won’t hate

It’s been said the only constant in life is change
So to e-file your income tax it is time to arrange

Typewriter

TYPEWRITER
TYPEWRITER

Have you seen an old old movie starring people in the newspaper businesses?
They had a old timey typewriter with the margin set and the return was manually
inclined to be reset with a nod and a frown and for all the world it seemed as iff
they was pushing it one way and pulling it the other at the same time
They typed and they retyped and they stopped and looked at the mistakes and
they edited the work and they inked the whiteout on the paper and they cussed
and took a coffee break and then they wrote a letter of intent to leave this
company no I'm sorry eye have been nice so far but now this JOB is monkeying
my back and eye must depart for FLORIDA or ZA. FOR all the world it is no
different on a computer except for the edit on the paper itself and just ewe try to
get a WORD document to spell words the way ewe say ewe want them to be
spelled
There there do not ponder the universe or quit your job just EDIT and misspell
the words correctly to be found a cosmic winner of the prize and utilize the means
of trash disposal to make the end come true and then ewe are a typewriter threw
and threw.
