need not be conspiracy
nor parade of lunacy
or ignore bear
and fold in despair
putin put in prison
with warlords clinton bush
obama trump biden
to gehenna all push
this coincidence
though not providence
consequences still apply
when russians die
iranian friends fry
hezballah hamas fail
gazans who live do so in hell
created by modern israel
who is loved by corina machado
asking hatchet for maduro machado
and gives aid to our good saint zel
so progressives pink washed
don't want you be squashed
but let this sink in
as advocate violence
and boost cause silence
merrikka israel win
time after time again
for sake of all love god
don't be a brain clod
while ukraine remains cannon fod
all genius includes a bit of madness
she’s a loon, they say, touched, odd
because she is an original, a comedienne,
an artist, a painter, a singer, a dancer
none of these things make money, they say
she’s abnormal, perhaps the biggest compliment of all
a quintessential her-own-person woman,
mad to you, sane to those who truly know
everyone who ever did anything notable was a bit odd
Columbus thinking the world was round? That was crazy.
The inventions of iron, incubator and vacuum – insanity
never question the importance of a little lunacy.
Civilisation's got me down
taking me to the tail of my tether
driving me round the bend
I'm not going to stick it out
to see where it will end
I'll do my best to regress
back to the stone age
cook on fire paint the walls
sit on rocks keep my cool
do what I have to when nature calls
humanity gets my goat
making me vote skins no clothes
leading me to lunacy's throes
I'm not going to see it through
to find where it all goes
I want to be a cave caveman
a tough rough-and-ready caveman
and do what cavemen do
and if you feel the animal urge
I'll make caveman love to you
Ah, words, the lunacy of language
The cackling currency of the confused
Squandered in vain attempt at conversation
Words, the spit balls and snow balls of youth
Sharpened to become the epees of aging
Slashing thrusts rendering opponents silent
Daggers wielded swiftly in rhetorical deceit
Pretentious pandering of pointless swords
Dancing on the edge of a quiet moment
Words, guttural curses of hurled invective
Hard eyed tortured faces spewing city venom
Tone, tenor and force strangling logic and reason
Thus, do we share a common tongue
Yet cannot understand each other
For it is our hearts that define our words
Tiny but mighty
Moving as if deranged
Their lunacy delights
Madness unhinged
Zipping and zinging
Slivers of tiny bits of lightning
They flick and flitter
Glittering in a way only fireflies can
I chase them with my ready jar
I've always wished to be insane,
to cash in my brain,
and plunge me into the sea
of unhinged lunacy.
I'd roll around the drain,
block out the sun.
and fall from clouds like rain,
before my day was done.
That's my kind of fun.
I'd forget earthly concerns,
eat a Diet of Worms,
play peek-a-boo with Moses.
I'd declare war on Cleopatra
in a War of Roses.
I'd outswim fishes, I sure would -
and be celebrated in Hollywood.
I'd collect one million stamps
and place them on the head of gramps -
If I only could;
but I'm sane and steady,
responsible and ready.
You see,
that's pretty much the story
of my brain's inventory.
Poor me.
just bright.
enough
of this lunacy.
crazy
eucatastrophe
high light.
landing
on earth’s
reflection.
the moon
said good day
as the son rose.
madly
in love
with the Lord.
just right.
equilibrium
of Eden.
Mine is a lively lunacy
at three am
the witching hour
full moon insanity
infecting empaths
magic madness
I lie awake
my ideals walking in harmony
down a dendrite highway of fantasy
The words still come
Gather
Vying for attention
Silently shouting
Choose me, choose me
I am the subtle variation
The thoughtful import
You seek
NO…choose me
I am the hook
That will reel them in
Heads shaking
To dislodge
A newly imbedded
Thought
Others think
He’ll never choose us
We are too simple, too plain
Alliterative aliens
Seeking a blank verse savor
Others smirk
Thinking….
He wouldn’t dare use me
My double entendre
Would boggle the minds
Of the one-dimensional reader
Languishing
In the lunacy
Of language
A full African figure
Is how I can describe her
The Joy of seeing her
Is it not to be found
In her leaving as they drool
Her face contemplative
And easy grace mixed with charm
A voice tantalizing as she browses
I think she is on Tiktok now..
Fala.. she jokingly calls me
When my teasing's are too much
The Joy of a platonic friend
Is to be found in altruism and loyalty
Did I mention shes from a background unrated
Joy easy is her name and being a constant friend
I desire the playful talk, flirting's, and daily teasing's
Mere anarchical obstinacy
Is their sad anthem all over;
Stubbornness steeped in lunacy
Is their sole claim to fame.
Who can stand their inane guises,
Their thoughtless mouthings tolerate?
Verbiage for verbiage’s sake is their vibe;
Sheer affection for baseless hate.

Humanity
is trapped in the spasms
of
lunacy,
technology
lured our wayward hearts
into
schizophrenia,
humaneness
gone astray in the midst rush
to self
enrichment,
faith,
a pointless endeavor
for the
lost;
finally,
vicious realization - life atrophied,
a silent
scream...
This poem draws inspiration from the iconic work of Edvard Munch, titled "The Scream." The profound impact of this poem is truly amplified when experienced in conjunction with the accompanying picture.
Colorization is Angela’s thing
Her purple hair makes her blue eyes zing
there is a spike in her neck
with mini-me, what the heck?
Bit of lunacy makes this photo king!
It’s so quiet I can
Hear the man on the moon
As he trots amongst
The craters and the dust of
Stars illuminating the vast
Galaxies.
His name must be Neptune, or
Something astrological, and his
Wife must go by
Venus.
We are their children,
Gazing up at them in
The night, forsaking
Them by day.
They have named me
Scorpio, and I shine and
Radiate energy alike to
A fiery comet’s tail.
Together we light the
Darkness like torches
Forever blazing and
Creating crystallized
Constellations.
I found a stream running down beside a landscape,
chuckling as it splashed. I envy its intimacy with nature.
I tread softly along in dreamy euphoria,
picking flowers and tossing them into the water.
I watched them float and form a quilt of color
until light was purpling, and I felt the keening of ghosts
while a half-moon hid behind a moving veil of cloud.
Stars begin to scud the sky,
towers of clouds poised like opera curtains
the earth below a stage on opening night.
I hover above myself, holding an imaginary wineglass
its tinkle sending sparkles in starlight,
I am slipping into an opium dream of my own,
only to wake up in a blaze of glorious lunacy.
