Two Crowns, One Autumn
Alexander’s sorrow pen wrote stories of love,
She came, conquered, and ruled both heart and throne above.
They met in spring when flowers burned bright red,
And promised vows where future rivers led.
Autumn breathed with wings across the yellow sky,
Its song a whisper of the leaves drifting by.
The Nile exhaled in amber, slow and warm,
Holding their names within its final calm.
No chains of Rome could break what they had grown,
No power of time could claim them as its own.
When separation’s poison filled the air with grief,
They chose one last breath instead of brief relief.
He fell on steel, she took the asp’s cold kiss,
Not defeated, but by love and will restored.
Autumn died with last breath in the arm of Nile,
Yet love remains, and makes the season smile.
It began as nothing
just casual words
two strangers meeting
at the wrong time.
You were not my plan
nor I yours.
Love was never invited
yet it found a seat.
We resisted quietly
calling it friendship
denying the sparks
as anything but fire.
But hearts are stubborn
They bloom without permission
Ours became a story
never meant to happen.
Abigail Scabes with her zombie-like grin
Chases a werewolf to her parent’s chagrin
Catching him and dragging him back to her lair
Don’t you care? I ask them. Don’t you care?
Abigail’s parents are horrified that she
Has become a cannibal in addition to zombie
We can hear the werewolf screaming for his life
Then there is silence; it frightens me and my wife.
Abigail Scabes comes out wearing a wolf pelt
Holding a carcass, and yet who is in the kilt?
It is the werewolf, it seems they are a couple now
onlookers are frightened into just saying “wow!”
a returning soldier
it was a happily ever after
I could not take my eyes off them
felt like a voyeur, but could not tear away
feeling like a part of their love story
Love story blooms like a rose,
And your the romeo I chose,
I planned on friends to lovers.
Beauty as the tail slowly uncovers,
Turns out we didn´t even last as friends,
guess this is wear the love story ends.
I am gonna blame it on my stupid heart.
Oh if falling inlove was a work of art.
Maybe I am delusional,
Maybe cupid had a cruel goal.
Whatever I will cherish the love story that will never take place,
and I will remember the look on your face.
But maybe someday I will find a real love story,
And my heart will have a victory,
But till then I will try to make it through,
missing you...
Your eyes that beamed with light
And your smile so bright,
Oh goodbye my never-happened-lover
just no my heart may not recover
From this never-will-happen love story.
The potato, to the egg, he cooed,
"You are by far my favorite food",
and he continued as he said,
"Might you and I soon be wed?"
The egg, to the potato, spoke,
"My, but you're a handsome bloke.
Our shapes are very much the same,
and I, with love, will take your name."
To seal the deal, they sweetly kissed,
and drew up an invitation list
(so their best friends would not be missed).
Little envelopes were addressed to these:
peppers, mushrooms, onions, cheese.
A happier occasion was never known,
how beautiful was egg in her silken gown,
the proud potato fried golden brown,
a party well-remembered, though
it was washed down with my morning joe.
You are the fire
I am the ice.
They say we don't match.
But we don't think twice.
It won't suffice,
To stop us touch.
Your enchanting pleas.
Won't let me be.
All on my own.
They invite me closer.
And I fall for.
I call toward thee.
My echo roars,
Unearths, explores,
Your whole new world.
Of ardent desires.
I frost thy blood
That runs through your veins.
I can't stop the fiery burning.
It does not quench me.
Makes me more thirsty…
I can't explain.
You burn my heart
With the fiery darts.
That tear apart
My mortal being.
They amiably hurt me.
Make me want more.
I break thy bones.
You scorch my skin.
I frost…
You melt…
I do not know what to expect next.
But a beautiful, pristine feeling,
Already is born.
Starts to have meaning,
We call it simply,
Love…
How calm a new story could feel
I told myself take your time
Life is a journey,
It really took me time to see
First from a distance, then i realize
Everyone carries their own story,
Everyone walks their own path.
I didn’t choose where mine began,
Maybe I could choose where it leads.
I will always appreciate the present,
But I will still hold on to the memories
Because it’s those moments that lasts
It's the ones people usually forget.
But how could I?
As if it were only yesterday
She was so cold, yet beauty remained still
She asked for my blazer
And I gave her my heart
In that moment
It felt as though she had borrowed
A small piece of my world
And Somewhere in that moment
Between her hushed voice and quiet music at the wedding.
Love quietly found me.
Fate writing its first scene
No plan, no rush, no design
Just a story unfolding,
Where two strangers met
Midst the vows of friends,
Witnessing my own destiny
And Love writes the rest of the story
The way God writes it.
And today I say it with gratitude
In Shaa Allah, the path is clear and true
For God gave me Salaamah, and a life made new
A million times I said your name
Was it always our hearts to blame?
You and me, our hearts so adoring
Time for us… life will not be boring
A million times I said we will
It took time for our hearts to heal
You and me, our lives meant to be
Yet, we were just so young and free
A million times I said just stay
But you were only there to say
You and me, we’re not meant to be
Though my heart couldn’t agree
A million times, I said your name
Was it you or me to blame?
I longed for your hand, your kiss
You are the soul I’ll forever miss
A million times, I said this prayer
Hoping that you would be there
You and me, we didn’t have a chance
Though our spirits may one day dance!
I am grateful for being able to bask
in my friend’s and family’s glory…
who every day help me write
the pages of my love story
We were once two lovers,
Who keep on falling deeper in love.
Despite the distance far between us,
Our love grows stronger, intense, enough.
Two hearts, moving in one rhythm,
Every beat gently written within.
On a cold night,
By winter’s pale touch in Belgium,
Our bodies’ warmth dances
In the lyrics of passionate love.
Oh, when you kiss me,
I feel fire on my lips.
I love that tender press
Pulling me into your hips.
I open my eyes,
We lay bare on the floor.
Our bodies close,
Our souls colliding
In a breath we shared
Without restraint.
As I touch your pretty face,
I feel romance growing deeper still.
You pull me closer, hold me near,
Our bodies answering love’s will.
We move toward a union of souls,
Where love needs no name.
In the hush of this cold Belgian night,
We found a communion of desire and flame.
Now we know this love is real,
A love that’s meant to last.
Gunther and Grace—
A story of intense love,
Written in the past,
Living in the now,
And promised in the future.
We are once two lovers,
Who keeps on fallin’ in love so deeply.
Despite of the distant far
Our love grows intensely
Two hearts, moving in one rhythm
Every beat gently written
In one cold night
Of winter’s pale touch in Belgium
Our bodies’ warmth dances
In lyrics of passionate love.
Oh, when you kiss me
I feel fire in my lips
I love those tender press
Into my hips
I open my eyes,
We lay bare on the floor,
Our bodies close,
Our souls colliding
In a breath we shared
Without restrainst
As I touch your pretty face
I feel deeper romance
And you hold me near
Our bodies answering the call of love
We move toward union of soul
Where love needs no name
In the hush if this cold Belgian night,
We found a communion of desire
Now, we know that this is a real love
A love that will last
Gunther and Grace’s story of intense love.
A Love Story 2
Huelva and the Gulf of Cadiz, and it was August, and in the town
There was loud music and rockets in the air. I had met a gypsy girl
She wore a white blouse and a long red skirt. She wore no shoes, her feet brown and dusty.
Back then, I smoked cigarettes- Chesterfield-
They were supposed to be upmarket compared to Camel cigarettes.
Even then, I wanted to be different, a cook who could read
She admired my Ronson lighter; it was expensive, and no one on
The ship had a lighter that classy.
She clicked the lighter a few times, how she coveted it, but I was
surprised when she suddenly ran away. I thought she ran for fun.
She would come back: she didn´t. Later, I saw her; she was with two
gypsy boys, and I dared not say anything. I walked back on board,
borrowed a box of matches, sat in my cabin smoking and dreaming
of her beautiful eyes.
Little Oreo’s Battle with Leo the Lion
It was a quiet day, a bit rainy with the sun coming through.
Oreo was relaxing by the window, taking in the sun.
Oreo didn’t know that Leo the Lion was breaking in to steal his food.
All of a sudden there was a noise, Oreo went to investigate.
Leo attacked Oreo and the fight started.
Oreo defended himself but gave Leo a beating
Then shoved Leo out of the house.
At last Oreo can sit in peace.
Hurray for Oreo.
Kolkata, my first and last breath,
A love letter to you, my heart's every depth.
In your streets, I found solace and pain,
A bittersweet symphony that still remains.
Your Ganges' waters, a reflection of my tears,
The city's nostalgia, my heart holds dear.
I miss the Park Street nights, the Maidan's green,
The memories of you, Kolkata, my heart can't glean.
Your rosogolla sweetness, still lingers on my tongue,
The pangs of separation, my heart can't be wrong.
You've been my first love, my last goodbye,
In your arms, I find solace, my heart's cry.
The city's chaos, my soul's calm,
The Durga Puja nights, my spirit's balm.
You've seen me break, you've seen me mend,
Kolkata, my love for you, will never end.
You're more than just a city, you're my home,
My support system, my heart's safe zone.
I'll carry you with me, wherever I roam,
Kolkata, my love for you, forever my own.
