Premium Member THE UNSEEN AND WHAT REMAINS

By Poet..... "Sometime life is unseen. What remains then shows up."

Over the many years,
pillows have been filled with tears.
Unseen dreams of attacking bears,
representing my many fears.
Now unseen what remains?
It is all locked away in my brains,
tied tight with heavy chains.
Sometimes red busting veins,
filling me with overwhelming pains.

Lost in the Shadow of August

Dated: August 1, 2026

The calendar turns to August,
thick and slow,
But my screen is dark, with no
signal to show.
A silver shell sleeping
somewhere unknown,
An island of data, completely
alone.

No signal emits from its lithium
heart,
The map remains empty, tearing
hope apart.
The "Find My" command waits
suspended in time,
For a wire to wake it, a network
to climb.

But the lock is a fortress, the
boundary is deep,
The secrets inside it are safe in
their sleep.
Through the location its lost to
the shadow of fall,
The wall built of iron responds
to no call.

Locked Inside Of Me

I'm alone now
I always have been somehow
No one ever comes in
I am in here hiding

Only I have a key
I'm locked inside of me
I'm not letting anybody in
I'm busy thinking

All that doubt
I’m figuring it out
Wondering who to be
Trying to be me

People look through the windows
But nobody knows
I hide behind the curtain
I'm not coming out until I’m certain

Premium Member THE LOCKED DOOR

The door was locked forever more
But somehow it found the key
Through evil lies and wickedness
It gained a forced unwanted entry

There I saw the face of Hell
Terrifying as it was
I gave a cry, I gave a yell
In its black and spectral buzz

And standing there from a poisoned well
Uttering sounds of foreign nonsense
In a tongue unknown like a deceiving spell
It moved close to the threshold of my innocence

For years I was haunted by this event
It did though seem forever away gone far
So I became less vigilant
And in un-thinking left the door ajar

Then poisoned gas disguised as perfume
Came flowing in through the crack
A final blow to thoroughly consume
A soul and body in a newly planned attack

I shut the door in its face fast
Locked from the inside
The memories passed through it cast
Into the fires of Hell with nowhere to hide

And the noise of a troubled mind
Was dissolved into a new gained peace
Like lotus flowers reflowering we find
On a Kashmir lake all joy and release

Premium Member Cacti

I locked my memories and dreams
No one but me is bound to know
Where have I hidden our trees
The green of grass and white of snow
The roses, the forget-me-nots
The pansies and the olive tree
And every flower in your pots
You pictured for the memory
The cacti stars in white and pink
They wonder why they came around
I’m pretty sure they can think
Especially when the sun goes down
And we are there, inside the walls
The cacti whispers in the night
Watching our shadows in the hall
Move in the rectangle of light.

My heart locked into the past

I'm tired

The past locked into my future
Locked into my now

I am so mad

Feeling the grief

How many years to go
Blindly
Tightly to what should have been

Now im old with no where to go

The past stole my future or did I give it all a way
To a past that never was

Remnants of the past
In my face
Hating me
Because
The past locked into my heart

My heart is ripping free
The rip will surely do me in

I'm tired so I guess its really a relief

The past is gone so what the is it
Delusional insane too long

Premium Member grandpas locked room

room has always been locked on attic stair
creepy thoughts entered when I used to care
older now, I am less psychic, I think
when I walk past, my neck hair does not shrink

missing since the fifties, where did Aunt Dee go?
frankly, it is much easier for me to not know
Putting my thoughts in the ground, willing to hide
unsure of what I might find if I could get inside

Premium Member LOCKED OUT

You cheated in our relationship
You said one thing, and it was actually for another
Supposed to be number one
Turned out into no number at all
I was put on pause
You were the cause
Always stepping out
Here and there all about
Mr. Swinger and Ms. Slinger
Decided to investigate
Catch you in the act
Wasted no time
I found your address book
It wasn’t hard taking a look
Went on the mission quest
Spotted you sitting at the bar with some other women
Drinking to your heart’s content
Time was my pursuit
You acted surprised
You didn’t realize, but a camera pointed and now there is proof you cheated
Every excuse you tried
Nothing you said made any sense
You were busted on the spot
Now who is locked out now
Your female split and left swiftly
Never to return
When will you learn?
Now have a new attitude
As for you, now a conclude
Found someone else who loves me for me
He knows how to soothe
His dancing is ever smooth
A cheater locked out and loss
I was the forbidden force
Alone in your mess
So long sucker, you didn’t do your best
I could care less.

REALITY OF LIFE

When you're hot
I mean when you start
Glowing or winning
Instead of them to flow
They start looking for faults
Bringing the past you've outgrown to shine
Just to bring you down
Stay strong, so they won't think their plots or plans have been manifested.

When you're happy
They'll do anything
To make you bored
Just to see you sober
Or slow you down
But you're a soldier
Don't surrender
Just stay locked in yourself.

When they see you on top
They will do everything to rip you apart
Just to see you down again at the bottom
I'm talking about your oppositions
No matter how lovely or kind you are
There's always a rivalry
A savior was nailed in Calvary
Jesus Christ to be precise
So; my brother leave story
Just give God the glory
For him to give you victory.

Locked Away

Walking across
a college campus
classes done till Fall
I hear those lessons
never taught
on winds that truth recalls
The questions that we
used to prize
now locked away in files
To favor dogma’s
jagged edge
— in deaf self-serving bile

Premium Member Locked down justice

Nothing good ever came out of hell
we all can see the enemy works on people's fear
The fruits of disaster has been sewn into those consenting
freedom has the choice to move without restraints attached
removal of these rights has turned the system of law upside down
passing laws that amount to curfew status in a time of war
dictators that close down all opposition and homegrown truths
The twisted tongues of oppression manipulate words forked
a new breed of public figures emerge justifying murder
control the masses and you have an army defending the deceiver

The Deep Sleep Locked My Soul

In the fake world the only true partner
Who was really an angel guardian ,
His deep sleep is so miserable
Which is just unbelievable ,
I'm in grief by his sleep
He made my heart weep
Why his sleep has locked my soul?
May be because of his honest role ,
He was such a faithful
His deep sleep is very painful ,
I can't imagine him disappearing in this fog
Oh! I lost my pet dog .
Why his sleep has locked my soul?
May be because of his honest role ............

Premium Member It was just a glance, a spark that locked me in the prison of my thoughts

It was just a glance, a spark that locked me in the prison of my thoughts,
a hazy dream that repeats every night like the refrain of a lost soul,
never close, yet never far, you were a constellation illuminating every corner,
I found you in crowds and empty rooms, your face lived in every reflection of my gaze.
You were never truly there, but I was, feeling the vibration of your every smile,
in the silence of my tears was born the echo of longing, a symphony of silent suffering,
you remained a stranger, an unsolved enigma, I unraveled like a dream at dawn,
you never saw me, but I built sandcastles around an ephemeral smile.
Sometimes I laugh at myself, other times my eyes betray my heart like windows to a hidden world,
it wasn't love, but just a search for meaning on a distant, illusory horizon,
a labyrinth of the soul in which I got lost seeking you, seeking myself.
The deepest pain is not that you left, but knowing you were just a mirage,
a dance of shadows on the wall of my soul, leaving behind an eternal void,
an echo of a presence that was never real, but burned like a falling star.

Premium Member Maga Stat

Dear Homeland Security Director No-em
I feel compelled to write you this po-em
They won't let me post bail
Get me out of this jail
I'm not a gang member and want to go ho-em!

My bright and exquisite pink heart-shaped tat
is being mocked by a gangsta in a Maga hat
All hope I must banish
I don't even speak Spanish
My doomed fate is sealed, just another stat

Locked Inside

I’ve got so much to say,
But my words don’t come out right.
Thoughts stacked in my chest,
Heavy, ready to fight.

I try to speak, but I freeze,
The words just slip away.
I need to let it all out,
But I don’t know what to say.

I’m screaming inside,
But my voice won’t break through.
I just need someone to listen,
To hear what I’m going through.

I’m not hiding, just tangled,
Stuck with nowhere to go.
I want to let someone in,
But the words refuse to show.

I’ve tried to scream, but it’s silent,
The words disappear like dust.
All this pain I carry with me,
But trust just hurts too much.

Maybe someday I’ll find the strength,
To speak without the doubt,
But until I know they’ll listen,
I’ll keep my heart locked out.

Maybe someday I’ll find the strength,
To speak without the fear,
But until I know they’ll listen,
I’ll keep my words right here.
