THE UNSEEN AND WHAT REMAINS

By Poet..... "Sometime life is unseen. What remains then shows up."

Over the many years,
pillows have been filled with tears.
Unseen dreams of attacking bears,
representing my many fears.
Now unseen what remains?
It is all locked away in my brains,
tied tight with heavy chains.
Sometimes red busting veins,
filling me with overwhelming pains.

If we are under some sort of fear, it will come in the form of nightmares to attack us in our sleep. Better we drive them away instead of locking them in our brain so that they won't plague us anymore. Powerful poem dear Paula.

My dear Paula, this is such a heartfelt and evocative write and sadly, resonating too, I for one, suffer with nightmares and dreams that are not very dreamy ... I know how it is being suffocated in sleep! Sometimes then my poetic muse wakes me up at 3am ~ to bleed thoughts that otherwise would remain in my heart.. truly poignant this is! Gosh I just watched a podcast on something similar to this and how out physical ailments or fears can be manifestations of old sins we might carry. I bought the book . Hoping I can figure things out for my healing

I like way you give each part its own space first half the unseen - dreams and second half what remains - the internal effects of those dreams. So much weight to this write Paula. Strong emotion. Xx 🌸
