Lock In Poems

Wems Weds Warmly

A day in third month, year to lock in heart:
Twenty-seventh, a start...
To share, live, never depart
Love is such an awesome art.

Grow faith, not fear

Fear a distressed emotion brought on by the belief that something dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat will occur. It only gains strength when you feed it faith. Growing into an outrageous ember, igniting every corner of hope it’s flames chase. It’s the unconscious decision to give up and for lack of better words, screw faith. But it’s in those moments we need to lock in, steady our ground, to again mount the horse of life before, untrue lies pull us back down. Using lessons as tools, from past trials that were fear derived. Turning them into hope as our hope is what keeps our faith alive. Some tracks are rocky, not always smooth.. If it was just flat, there would be no need for hope or faith within this life for flesh covered fools. It’s the hardships and heartaches that germinate our seeds, for faith, to bloom. I always lean harder into mine, when every other turn I manage to take, leads me to a dead-end, where fear and anger ruminate. It’s in those moments I beg for the spirit of uncertainty to relinquish my lack of faith, replace it with trust that everything, even on our worst days, will be ok just don’t invite fear to play.

Premium MemberPrisoner of Poetry

I am a purple prisoner of poetry
For when I can’t write woe is me

Darkens my sky the flowetry
Enriches my life the soul of me

Some do drugs roll with me
I just do hugs go with me

Grasping the love of a sheet
Of paper, pen and ink is peace

Muse is a turquoise tool guides me
Ideas are precious jewels inside me

It’s an affliction of discovery
A kind of mission red recovery

Righting what is wrong you see
Writing poems sonnets songs to sing

Some are like the ivory breeze
Others crash into onyx dead sea

One hopes to be indigo inspiring
To tickle brain cells cherry firing

To leave readers denim desiring
Or perhaps even enjoying inquiring

In the jail of a black bipolar mind
Where hell is back and forth in time

Words can be a key or lemon lock in crime
Can be of forms free or form that rhymes

Needing readers to read gives me a high
Hoping that you see a message from divine

Dream Management

I dream of reliving my heart’s past fall.
To marry again and bear the long haul.

I long to long.
To sing that song.

One day I will lock in the courage.
One day photos will find the fridge.

For now I must simply yield to stall.
Readying my boat before the waterfall.

I dry-run this until my skin peels off.
I pray I will be ready for takeoff.

Premium MemberDry Land

In sixty-five and half years been
Lock-in love with you again
And again, our marriage soft-land
Dreamland at times and times dryland
Those Valentines' gifts counterpoise
Disclose your feelings and expose
Your desire to not reinsure
Anymore your love for me, bore

every day poem

everyday i wake up for the next day

everyday I get in the shower before school

everyday I get dressed and brush my teeth

everyday I freshen up to get ready and head to school

everyday I lock in for school and get as much done as I can

everyday I finish my school assignments and head to work

everyday I go to work and make money after school

everyday I finish work and enjoy the rest of my day

Ahead and to my right
I have you in my sight
I like to watch you move
You lock in with the groove
I think of things sometimes
Then write them down in rhymes
Not for the public eye
One read and you'll know why

Definitely beautiful
The most beautiful I've seen
Who could ever fathom
I'd know my girl of dreams

My sweetheart, she's so talented
She sings like no one can
And when I fall asleep tonight
I'll dream of her again

Sometimes my dreams get crazy
Scenarios afire
Crescendoing intensity
Fill me with desire

I stand behind my princess
My arms around her waist
I whisper that I love her
A gentle kiss is placed

She turns around to face me
Our eyes lock in a stare
Our lips are getting closer
'Til not much space is there

My name in sotto voce
Her signal says okay
Our mouths then lock impassioned
Let's stay this way all day

Deep Diving

I'm way ahead of the darkness that cast shadows
& there's no looking back when moving with his light
I'm light years away so even if you're walking by
I'm still way too out of sight
Crystal clear blue sight sees the waves way before
they reach gritty shores
I pulled anchors & set sail to see what this voyage
had in store
The answer for many of life's questions can be found
in deep waters you won't visit because it's cold
Too deep for the thin skinned but you must dive as
fortune favors the soul that's bold
I'm sold on this fact based on experience not vicarious
stories told to win
The wages of going to war with yourself can't be counted
but you're paid handsomely for the win
Immerse yourself in the battle & lock in for this is the
key to your elevation
I surmise that there's many counting themselves out
but this is a guess not summation
A hypothesis if you will as I don't know you, but the
joke is on you if you don't dive
Many hide behind masks of jest but the joke is on you
& your disguise

The Gospel Wind

when
sacred butterfly wings
lock in a
spiritual dance
while
both
their
hearts
still
beating
seeking their chance
through
the
gospel wind

I won't cut your opinion,
Even if we disagree.
Each of us has a dominion.
The 'truth' is what we see.

Some, lock in disagreement,
Then counter with persistence.
To views that are recurrent.
I think I'll keep my silence.

No Shaking Words

Not once did I fall,
but countless.
Words shaking,
fearing the tender,
touch of clouded mystery.
Should the mind's waters,
spill from the glass,
to whom will it fall,
the good or the bad?
The grains of my sand,
are the pieces of the void,
where my mind treaded always.
It is kept in my chest,
with a lock in my heart,
that should someone wish,
to steal my sand,
it will be futile.
I will protect,
what streams from my soul.
For, once before,
everything nearly costed,
my Soul.

My parchment soul song
Bells bloom from Angel’s pearl wings
Gardens bow with grace
My heart rings with fire love
Notes lock in legacy Lord

Premium MemberMain Attraction

Magnetic field not on display
Attraction like a cabaret
Resonates across the room
All five senses in full bloom

Temperatures internal rise
When a line is drawn with eyes
To lock in sight for me does turn
A spark into a full blown burn

It only takes a second too
There's no one else who does but you
My pulse rate pounds a beat in 4
64th notes, wanting more
