Where will I go for someone to listen to me
hear my cries, feel my tears
screaming inside blank stare on my face
wanting to scream for someone to hear me
living in a world in my four cornered room
wondering why i converse with the walls or the pages of my book.
thats where I go for someone to listen to me
no mis-judgements or comments made
why do i do this to myself its all that I know
wanting to break the silent cycle of isolation
misunderstood, labeled helpless, still I scream inside
Many words and many burdens to fathom
when the head is locked and full of aching blood,
The world is before us, we have not seen all her ores
Though they lie near they are nothingness for our eyes
less weighty than dust
Flesh is as steel after the kindness of the heat
from the darkness of the unseen
They know better, I know less
So I’m fortunate enough
Not to delve into that mess
PMs, politics and stuff
Show up anytime you can
Dear faithful friends of mine
Tell me of your best laid plans
Speak about your latest finds
If my glass is full, I’d listen
If it’s empty, I may say
Please excuse me for no reason
We’re not friends, at least today..
Listen to my heart beat;
hear the echo of your own.
Feel each pulse as it courses through my being
giving life anew where there was none.
Listen,
Hear my breath
as it whispers from my lips
sighing out your name.
Listen,
hear me breathe you in,
and as my breath leaves me,
listen
as it calls your name again.
listen to the stories of the past-
to the ancient stories that tell warnings.
only a fool would cast away the memories
instead of awakening and listening-
not only with ears-but also with your heart.
dont they teach history anymore?
when someone I love does it first
and I can predict the notes of life
before the birds know
what’s going on
One more pill,
One more self-denial of internal strength,
One more unhealthy decision,
One more drink to ease the tension,
One more fruitless thrill,
One more wasted skill,
One more temperament becoming ill,
One more day by the windowsill of life,
Looking out,
Wondering,
Crying, “Why?”
Then comes the light.
Habit,
Fear,
Addicts still cheer,
***** as it seems,
Passing on by go some dreams,
Screams occur,
Many things blur,
One thing for sure,
Are the things that were the cure,
No larger are,
That is ALL I know so far.
It is FUBAR!!!
the wind whispered
and the ears of corn heard
that the rain was coming
Nature speaks in subtle poetry.
It can easily take your breath away.
Messages hide in plain sight.

I am friends with the shadows
I feel content and at peace
I can talk with the shadows
And they listen to me
I can walk with the shadows
I feel calm and at ease
I am friends with the shadows
The shadows in me
I'm idle, stuck on pause.
Everyone's telling me which way to go.
Gotta listen to my heart.

Sounds of spoken silence, a slight bit slippery,
Comfortable claims that ease and sing perfect songs,
Rescuing eruptive ridges embroidered in effervescent languages,
Oh, the uncomplex nature of your predictable valiance,
I’ve watched plenty of promises pretend to prosper,
While pouring perishing peace into pieces of me.
If to love you, sunken scars must bleed not bruise,
If to move you, soul must listen not speak
If we must live, what parts of us would die?
For I ache to pierce through materials manufactured by misled manipulators,
So, Before the instrument full of stain begins its calligraphy,
Mark me with the winter that hold your heart,
Tell the frost, how your limbs draw out my gravest parts,
It is your festering flaw, your voice that still anguishes me,
A sickness , for a figure driven by shame.
When we met,
brains went out the window.
Why should I listen to what you say?
When we met,
heart went overboard.
Why should I listen to what you say?
When we met,
you moved me now soul must listen.
I did hear what you said
Your voice was loud and clear
There was no interruption
Before the sound could reach my ear
But something funny happened
To the words, on the way
Between my ear and my brain
The content went astray
I can’t work out what it was you said!
Though the sound still echoes ‘round
Bouncing in my brain
With no meaning to be found
I know you didn’t talk with typos
Pronunciation was spot-on
But I didn’t catch the meaning
Or I did - and now it’s gone
To guess at it from context
And get it wrong would be a pain
I don’t know why I didn’t catch it
And I hate to ask again
I swear I am not going deaf
The problem’s in my head
My ears are still okay, I think
But what was that you said?
When I speak
You don’t seem to hear me
But you should
Cause, I am saying something you need to hear
Listen to me
There are times I speak softly,
But my words are still spoken
Yet you fail to hear,
Or you roll your eyes at me
Listen to me
I am telling you how I feel
Things that matter most to me
But you seem not to care
This has been going on for a while
Listen to me
If you continue to not listen to me
Or not care what I have to say
There will come a time
When I will silence my voice
At that point, it will be too late
Listen to me or watch me walk away.
