MY BIRTHDAY PRAYERS

Father God Almighty
It's a new era for me
Thanks for all you do
Bless this era
So I don't repeat lessons
Let my problems be lessened.

Make a way
Where there seems to be none
For that's what you're known for
That's why I'm steadily relying on you
I need your reply
A speedy answer.

Do it your way
Before I try my way
So I don't go astray
So I won't fall
For the enemy as prey
For them to slay me
I pray to thee my father in heaven.
Happy magnificent and blissful birthday to my humble self.

The Last Exchange

While the sun was slipping away
You left me
With a gifted moment

A moment that lessened fears
Yet hastened tears
A moment that spoke to me
Yet set you free
A moment that caressed my heart
Yet put apart
A moment that fostered giving
Yet nurtured living
A moment that clarified a decision
Yet cleared my vision

While the sun was slipping away
You left me
With a gifted moment

Premium MemberThe Cold Embrace of Death

Darkened my world,
Turned it upside down.
A cloud of grief follows me around.
The sun shines, but my eyes see darkness.
A mother’s worst nightmare
Became my reality.
Torn from this earthly world—
My brown-eyed baby girl.
Grown up, but always my baby,
Leaving me in a whirlwind of misery.
Always trying to honour her,
Keep speaking her name.

Cling to her memory like a lifeline,
Whispering, Please come back to me.
The wind echoing, I’m still here beside you, my Mommy.
Feeling a gentle touch on my cheek
Where my tears are falling silently.
The pain so immense,
The grieving so quiet.

The passage of time has not lessened the pain—
I’ve just learned to carry it differently.
I understand:
We breathe, not forever.
We walk in body, not forever.
We live, and we die.
But one thing that does not change
Is the love I have for you—
In life, in death, and evermore.

I tell every Kazakh

Read in Kazakh! If you want to understand me,
Think in Kazakh! If you want to understand me!
If you read and think in Kazakh, my words will reach,
We’ll move toward kinship, like siblings born together.

Let’s speak in our pure mother tongue, united,
Speaking without mixing is truly great and solid!
If we revive forgotten words in our minds,
It’s like bringing back the dead parents we left behind!

If you think in another language, your own is dead,
When your language is gone, your worth is lessened instead!
A young child wakes up, crying from their sleep,
If they’re soiled, the diaper beneath is in a heap.

I thought that independence would bring change,
But after 25 years, our wounds still feel strange!
If there’s a revolution in the minds of the Kazakh,
Then in joy, I will...

I’ll be the oil lamp that lights every home,
I’ll be there when you’re sick, never alone.
On that day, like a volcano awakening from sleep,
In the heart of Kazakh, I will surely leap.

Like a volcano, I will erupt into fire and flame,
Pouring forth my verses, each one with a name.
Melting all sixty-two veins like molten lead,
This is how I will show the power of the word!

Between the Pauls

Between the Pauls, there were some laughs
From some with valued autographs
And glimpses of the former staffs
Of Saturday Night Live.

Some old routines brought up to date,
Including some just second-rate,
Performed to help to celebrate
What’s managed to survive.

Paul Simon started with a song
To which we all could sing along
And with a voice no longer strong,
For harmony he’d strive.

Sir Paul, the final singing guest,
In dapper shirt and jet-black vest,
Despite his lessened pipes, impressed,
The audience alive.

For fifty years of SNL,
We’ve watched careers it helped propel
And since this wasn’t a farewell,
We hope it long may thrive.

True love is sure to be reciprocated.

      Do your duties

     Proper gratitude is rare

Premium MemberOde to Sir Paul Reeves v2

What a magnificent servant you were,
serving God and man in plight,
Nothing but your quiet demeanor to disarm
the most cantankerous and disagreeable alike.

You served the church, a beacon in the storm,
Your gentle voice is a balm to every soul.
You served the public, a master of your art,
Your legacy is a garden where compassion grows.

You lived to serve and thought nothing of it

Now your bright spark has vanquished, and only a memory remains of you,
Recalling what you have done has destined you to fame.

We who remain are lessened by our absence. Salute you and your deeds,
We take heed of your lessons.

So farewell, dear friend, and think of us fondly,
As you reside in your heavenly abode,
While we below something to fill the hole in our hearts.
You have left behind your spirit, which will forever guide us.

Now ah-days

Would I define
or explain
since now ah-days
everything's changed
seems it lacks
the emotional concern
lessened by
non-commitments
not complete
and unattached
wanting to be
something it's not
I liked it better
the way it was
the opposite of start
the first beginning
I liked it the way it was

An even tempo
simple to understand
a high pitch tremble
a bass so deep
a low octave frequency
meet in the middle
groove and chime
some strings that sing
strings do it every time
woodwinds set the mood
intro's and outro
the prelude
The strings do-it every time

Welcome back, dear me
let’s sip vintage wine and merry be
awakening to a radiant dusk exactly as is,
 caressed by sheer madness igniting
a dance a swing with a playful breeze
and to soak in evening’s tickled mist,
as reaching out to others completely
 drains my core like an overused machine ;
my quality time lessened slain by kindness...

Now, my days taste the cherry of life
indulging in forsaken passions leisures denied…
Yes, it’s all because self-nourishment
rings aloud: buy that violet lipstick,
paint the moon with enthralled eyes… throw a sinful dessert party and ride the carousel with complete abandon!

If Mom calls and neighbour Pam asks for extra help in her garden, I’ll wink gently—
Say no. For my heart is running empty,
It needs to be fed with jazz's tempo
without the guilt trip. So, I’ll smile at my body
And leave all for a while, as real love begins
with me, lifting this soul on the halo of fire--

Premium MemberCreel, Sierra Tarahumara

He ran to the mountain.
They were arguing again.
This time it rained
warm, covering him
the way she should have
but yelled instead
at father.

When the steam stopped
rising from the ground
and the sun’s bleed
lessened
he walked back
past the tire shop
the old dog barked at him
and then stopped.

He came in the back door.
She had made tamales
and he was eating
quietly by himself-
The battle over.

He sat and ate too
and saw his future-
The mountain, the rain
the mist, the steam
And the silence
that comes after.

Lingering Love

Words were lessened, hardly ever spoke
If you've let me hear you in the night sky, darling I would have stayed woke
Send me your thoughts, deliver them to my heart,
So you can hear from me when we are apart

If you see the darkness, in the abyss
Please let me be your light,
I could bring all happiness to you
Pull you out the stygian,
If you just let me under your skin

My dearest, in this world I have nothing to loose
But rather something to give to the special eye in my view

If only you take this stoned hand, and crystalize our love like fire with sand.

Title 1

"The forest is my loyal friend A Delphic shrine to me." ... by Ralph Waldo Emerson

The written word bears roots abound
Hail favored mist of hallowed ground
Announced breathtaking full-filled air
Spreads out enjoyment summons fair
Forgiving trailed Earth's crowning Star
Forest startup's reserves stretched far

Healthy hoards and wholesome intakes
Fresh novel minds elsewhere, retakes
Obsessed consumed florists stationed
Lives styled out stretched reawakened
Seedlings advanced Heavens promised
Groundbreaking achievements calmest

Cob-web silk thread eight-legged shooters
Tethered roots edged equaled footers
Floods 'neath grounds raise the gigantic
Psalmist summoned lessened frantic
Misplacements sequenced adjustments
Cause coursed through major monuments

Misfortune causeway lengthens aches
Stressed strung-out unmeasured outtakes
Commons traversed rights owned presence
Neighbors challenged core quintessence
Claimed righteousness labors bear fruits
Attributes are well-served ... grassroots.

Where Did This Hate Come From

Come on people lets be civil
Why we causing so much trouble
In a world that needs to see
So much more humanity
Hatred can be lessened by
The love we all have inside
Showing the darkness it wont win
Bringing the world back again
Into the light where it can shine
Allowing all hearts to align
In one gigantic universe
Hand in hand we'll beat the curse
And bad vibes sent out our way
Do it now--we can't delay
Joining in adversity
Sending out a hopeful plea
That people of different races
Will forget all the disgraces
That divided us and see
That your nationality
Shouldn't keep us separated
This kind of thinking is outdated
Lets all look into the future
Knowing we can come together
Without issues of differences
My mind no longer can take this
It's about to go insane
Why we causing so much pain

Final Sale

Two shoplifters, when they were caught,
Stealing items they just should have bought,
Fought their felony charge
For their total was large,
Adding up to much more than they’d thought.

See, their sentence, the thieves had deduced,
When the charges had been introduced,
Should be lessened, to scale,
Since just items on sale
Had been stolen, their prices reduced.

Premium MemberA High Road

Today my thoughts have moved
    To a higher altitude.
Where the air is crisp and thin,
    Providing a fresh attitude.

The mountainous terrain blends
    Both beauty and grace.
While reaching to the heavens,
    And all that open space.

Even as the climb moves forward,
    There's awareness of a fall.
Since limits are ever-present, and
One slip can hit the wall.

Now along with lessened pressure,
Comes the struggle for more air.
Here time must give-in to more oxygen,
    Removing any lingering despair.

When the zenith is finally come upon,
And no further heights can be seen.
A pause to reflect and view the summit,
    Comes from Mother Nature's mezzanine.
