Grocery Woes

As so many shoppers
consistently doing all manner of wrong
fail to return their trolleys
from whence they came to where they belong
it really irks when I leave work
drive my hybrid to the supermarket
circle the car park for what seems hours
and can't find a place to park it
the question may seem odd to some
and yet I have to ask it
why don't those self-same lazy people
do to it what they'd do with a shopping basket

THE BETRAYED

So many times I was betrayed
By those I could move mountains for
Always confiding in them without fear
Forgetting change is constant
There blows the wind of change
Was stripped naked by the streets
I was denied love
By people I gave my all
They want my ruin
Trying to understand what I am
Instead of loving the whom I am
Been stabbed at the back so many times
By niggas I bleed for and with
Niggas I can kill for
Was left on the street vulnerable
To die but God sent help
Thy trauma's got me lazy
But God amaze me
Now they're calling me crazy
After driving me insane.

Lazy People

Be not like lazy unproductive people who only depend on easy money for a living.

'Cause on their deathbed, they'll be asking themselves if what have they accomplished. They could have been better if trey tried to be productive, other than scouring upon other people's litter.

They are like dirt whose only task is to stick upon someone's fingernails.

What I Have Observed

It is crazy
To be lazy
And lousy
To be mousy:
Of one naughty
Who chose to be haughty
And Snobbish
Who often mouths rubbish.

You can’t be chatty
And not hearty
Nor Natty
When you’re the fatty:
From almost every nit
Not a word of wit,
Everything mirroring a haze
For his longest gaze…

All these: What live observed
And should n’t want them reserved.

Premium MemberLaziness Is Not a Virtue

Many lazy people in the U.S. of A.
Are living off of the burden taxpayers pay,
Living the dream,
Me wanna scream
Looney bin truck coming to carry me away.

People who will not work drive me up a wall
While good, decent folk are carrying the ball,
Laziness is not a virtue,
“A little work never hurt you!”
My mama said so, as best I can recall.

Premium MemberThinking Gone Lazy To Fight

Thinking gone lazy,
to fight
   fire with fire,
   racism with racism,
   injustice with injustice,
   exclusion with exclusion,
   segregation with segregation,
because
   "God is great,
   beer is good,
   and people are crazy."

If Only

If only there was more time,
If only I wasn't always tired,
If only I wasn't so differently wired,
If only we had a little extra dime,
The two words I always turned to,
My immediate reflex responses,
Helping me make the best excuses,
Whenever there was something I had to do.
But then a virus so minuscule,
Comes a-waltzing surprisingly,
Granting me to be lazy ceaselessly,
Not having to follow any rule.
Endless time, with no where to be,
Movies just waiting to be watched,
No more people to avoid and dodge,
And a bed to sleep in excessively.
Could this actually be true?
But something was clearly amiss,
And swiftly faded my bliss,
When responsibilities cast a grey hue.
Because now, there was nothing to cover,
My laziness and laid back attitude,
No more excuses to find in this free solitude,
So I turn to those words again like a destitute,
If only lockdown could just be over.

Premium MemberMaybe a Tad Lazy

When I grow up I'll be a bimbo
Smart people will tell me where to go
I'll bob my head
On cue play dead
Find good job where standards will be low

Lazy Day

To some people it's just a day
A regular, ordinary day like any other
But to the many out there with a day off
No matter what day or time it was
They proclaim a day to do nothing.

Sitting on the bed
Reading a fine book
Especially when you got
A whole pile of manga
To read throughout the day.

A library of games
To choose from to play
On your Playstation 4
Or X-Box One depending on the system.

Binge watching a series
Having a movie-a-thon
On good ole Netflix
Just don't get too absorbed
For if you lose track of time
It'll be the next day at noon.

Napping on the couch or a bed
Cuddled with your favorite plush
Curled under a cozy blanket
As you have sweet dreams.

When we feel there's nothing to do
When we feel like unwinding after a busy week
When we feel like doing nothing at all
Just kick back and relax
Give yourself a personal lazy day
We all deserve one once in awhile.

Lazy Man

Lazy man
The city woke up
I was sleeping…
People were moving
I was dreaming…..
At the time of lunch
I broke my fast….
I was too slow
City was so fast….
That made me the last
Lonely in the crowd ….
Alone at home
Being in the world
But abandoned by time…..

Lazy Sufferings

Oh the irony
Lazy ass, sitting at home
Whining life's a bore
Crying about nine to five
Unwilling to turn around

Rumors and Cookie Shakes On a Lazy Sunday

people think i am lost in the essence of time
the machine in which i live makes the world change emotive colors
there are some who think that i left my smile in the bed with my personality
i am lost in a space where i sprayed febreze to aerate my comfort zone
then my left hand is observed by all the judges that study me
my left hand begins to twitch, but i remain calm and medicate myself with daydreams
within said daydreams, the beautification of being lost for the purpose of sanity maintenance awakens me
then here i am in this dumper dust reality again
there are those who believe i am invisible amongst the population of time
two cookie shakes later, i am on droopy mode when i simply reply....YOU KNOW WHAT, I'M HAPPY....

Lazy Morning Rain

Lazy morning rain

Oh lazy rain
Oh lazy morning rain
Coming from the pervaded cloud
Encompasses the sky cloud
Why must you spoil this bright morning?
You delay those who are going
To their daily activities
You delay those who are seeking for jobs
Willing to study students are
being dallied. you gave
chance for lazy
One as you to smile, go away
Go away
You splatter upon the roof
As the sound thatchers thatching the roof
Your splash onto the windows give
Chance for cold to penetrate
A wailing cloud it's ok, you are wailing as if you will not
Wail another. You are not needed at this moment
People are shivering because of your present
Why don't you go and come at night?
Go away
Oh lazy rain
Go away
Oh lazy morning rain

Lazy

America is Lazy.
We sit on computers inside.
We are fat and pasty.

We complain about our problems,
But we do nothing to fix them.
“How can we fix this?”, People ask.
Just work hard and you can accomplish any task.

Nothing will ever be achieved,
From this Lazy American lifestyle.
Hard work is what we need,
To be on successful for a while.

My Name Lazy

poem by:poem1000
My name is lazy
Im so so lazy
That people think im just plain crazy
I ran through a maze
In my job looking for a raise
Then i got laid
Never ever going to get paid
Forever and ever.
