lapis is said to open the third eye
If mine were more open, I would be seeing spirit in my cereal
Then I would be tempted to be a cereal killer
I run around the gemstone store, avoiding every lapis piece I find.
It seems like others have a different story to tell.
“Lapis!” they yell as they come in with their friends.
To me lapis is an ugly stone anyway.
I have never felt the need to purchase it.
fluorite crystal is my stone of choice.
give me fluorite and you can have all the
ugly dull azure spotted lapis you want

Preserve lapis lazuli earth of bluest skies,
Sparkling rich treasure of the Milky Way,
With colorful dawns and ruby butterflies,
We must nurture our world so it will stay.
Sparkling rich treasure of the Milky Way,
With rich history, not too soon forgotten,
We must nurture our world so it will stay,
And bluebirds may be heard in the garden.
With rich history, not too soon forgotten,
This cannot be the end of our truest love!
We must nurture our world so it will stay,
With the help of the good Lord up above.
This cannot be the end of our truest love,
With colorful dawns and ruby butterflies,
With the help of the good Lord up above,
Preserve lapis lazuli earth of bluest skies!

Lovely lithe lapis elf figured we would languish in our lightness
Because he beautified us in a bevy of brilliant brightness
The blue of his lapis laid lively on his little elfish chest
I liked it a tiny bit, but I think moonstones are the best.
The moonstone magic of the moment showed an upbeat taste.
We wallowed in a wandering way, at Willy Wonka’s, no great waste.
Creative and courageous, the Christmas elf could carry a crazy tune.
Showing his sassy self he sensibly howled at the December moon.
Moonstones pranced and paraded, showing the way to the toy shop.
The reindeer begged them to slow down, or at least to pretend to stop.
Lovely lithe lapis elf brought his blue stone to the middle of the town.
Magic changes Christmas colors, let's turn this place upside down.

Screaming Lapis Lazulis
I wonder about you.
I wonder about your cold-cocked eyeball manifestations
Wonder about your infinite perfumes of peppermint and Eau de.
Your deep penetrating cornerstones of my crested resistance,
Ascending like spent lovers at drowsy daybreak,
Arising higher than your sensational spires of ridiculous time.
There are screaming lapis lazulis there,
Gathering as the argentines do after the spitting rains of solstice.
You touch my face now with your cold-cocked eyeball manifestations.
Yet, I wonder about you.
I wonder if your mind can fathom the mimosa chimes at noontime.
Wonder if maybe we can close our eyes to hear the blue stones,
For there are choirs of the smoking dead singing nothing.
There are screaming lapis lazulis there.
Life is the bearded bassist who tunes his strings with closed eyes.

Lapis is your power gemstone, the sage crone announces.
It will open your imagination to future projects.
You will no doubt be attracted to her as you wander the Psychic Fair.
Instead of being attracted, I am instantly repulsed by Lapis.
To me she is ugly, plain, dull, not pretty in any stretch of my mind.
Fluorite, topaz, and opals call my name.
I am mesmerized by citrine, rubies and fools’ gold.
Chryrsoprase delights me. I instantly purchase a piece.
Tiptoeing rapidly past the ugly lapis.

A lapis-lazuli sky
above tranquility’s waves,
nature’s sedative for
urban ills.
peace sails upon
the untroubled waters
of serenity here;
Gaia’s womb
that placid waterway
preserving sanity.
I float upon these dream waters,
into otherworldly seas
of harmonic bliss;
lapis-lazuli dreams
are jewels of the
contented psyche.

Intense blue light energy
Radiates from the
manifestation stone
bringing balance
and a voice to speak
your personal truth.
It provides wisdom and
connects us to the mystical
and spiritual realms.
The key to total
spiritual attainment.
Breathe...
Let go...

gypsy girl flowing in a flash of red skirt
her glazed bodice in breeze of bluebells
In fountain of rejoice, wild rapacious flirt
crystal lapis lazuli , my fortune she tells
"you'll soon fall in love and gonna get hurt"
In a sherbet dream, my cheerful heart yells.

It's heavens celestial blue
With astral flecks of gold.
It calls upon oceans, sky and heaven
To lift a weary soul.
It's serenity in all lifes chaos
Mysterious wonders it does behold.
A wisdom keeper of the truth
Divine magic it will unfold.
Lapis Lazuli
A precious stone truly.

Lapis Lazuli, Tutankhamen’s blue, loves gold;
ocean depths dream of such a deep hue and
is jealous of night, lapis skies.
Lapis remembers cosmic light and
tells its tales;
view Lapis skies and
plot your course in their stars.

For her backsplash style, I used cobalt tile.
Her sapphire eyes bold cast me away cold.
My heart dipped right to benitoite night.
Hot to drown in brew and sad boleite blues.
Yet I put on my new turquoise suede shoes.
My topaz car I drove to Rockies far
There to glorify in azurite sky
And lakes nearby of lapis lazuli.
I waited with tunes a celestine moon.
At dawn, cyanite jays curst me away.
And my sapphire blues at last I did lose.

Crepuscular is waning afternoon,
in lapis lazuli does day respire.
The seashore chimes its solitary rune
as tentative the lapping waves acquire
the briny echo of a mermaid's lyre.
Though timidly does surf caress the beach
in mirrored shades of night as they conspire,
brave wisps of comets in the untold reach
of space diffuse and pluck my heart into the breach.

In teal sunset
Gerberas whisper cyan secrets
jade eyes already misty
with turquoise tears
translucent as bee wings
In daisy diaspora they have germinated
a lapis legacy throughout my garden
to peacocks and oceans
enthralling with indigo images
of azure empires
converting with periwinkle prayers
Sapphires burn
in shades of midnight
as amulets to aqua aspirations
As sky darkens and cobalt descends
blue buds dream in cerulean
of cornflower conquests
just as Persians and Egyptians
once sought dominion
from Aegean to Atlantic
Now they will slip
into celestial sleep
scaling steel spruce
until awakening
to a powder morning

Lead my soul to immortality, I ask the stone-
Ancient Egypt favored this beautiful blue gem, so
powerful, spiritual and serene.
It is said to inspire the spoken word and creativity and,
souls of the God's dwell within (so it is said).
Lapis Lazuli encourages me to take a spiritual journey,
and promises to end my suffering and bring me,
Zion bliss, and eternal love-
Uniting and bonding, the meshing of souls.
Let me not fear honesty, compassion and love, in the end,
internal healing will be mine.
Great the power of this gem to dissolve emotional bondage,
ending pain and promoting deep inner forgiveness, oh so
multidimensional is this lovely gem of blue-
