Christmass season is now here.!
Celebrating the birth of our King,!
Thus heaven has blessed our kingdom here !
As the new holder of the crown is now a queen.!
A new era has begin,!
Mummers came to sing,!
Under the mistletoe they are all kissing,!
Wassailers were all drinking,!
Duke and duchess were dancing,!
Hail to the new born King,!
Thou shall blessed our reigning queen.!
Have you seen what's going on
in Afghanistan
and all that's gone wrong
caused by the Taliban
driving the country
into rack and ruin
with impunity
is what they're doing
it's what they've done
it would be good
to put them on the run
better yet eliminate
those Barbarians at the gate
yes it would be best
to dress each one
in a suicide vest
then blow their tiny minds
up the Khyber to Kingdom Come
kingdom come in my sleep
While my dream is very deep
Showing me colors I don’t know
Sharing where my soul will go
Heaven is just like I thought
A memory I never sought
Road to paradise aptly taught
I slumber peacefully on my cot
Kingdom come, amid men whose secure custody
I can hear it yield promises then relinquish final copy.
Stumbled on ancestral stone which once ago protect
Those that ensure their existence human honor connect.
Build new ones to rewrite freedom harnessed battle,
As those, once blessed, move and walk-in-like cattle.
Those that do care on honeysuckle sunlit minions
Overflowing of golden fields, rivers to feed Millions.
Whoever else and thinking and Orchestrate vengeance,
Kingdom come, those whose custody, doors open, welcoming penance.
Kingdom come, but I first must die
Thankfully, life here does not last.
Though pain and grief can make me cry,
one day they’ll all be in my past.
Some sorrows seem like forever.
Kingdom come, but I first must die,
and this is my hope, for never
can I stay as when I once was spry.
Some plans of mine have gone awry.
Slower do I walk than before.
Kingdom come, but first I must die.
Then – and only then – will I soar.
It matters not my bones get old
because I know one day I’ll fly
to where God’s glory I’ll behold.
Kingdom come, but I first must die.
And your kingdom come is mine left undone.
Like oil against water, a ladder with black cat,
is this passion or an anxiety attack?
Vampiric pale skin craves darkness in spades,
homophones trick spellings, “…she cleans to impress the maid”,
and your kingdom come shimmers where mine will fade.
One man’s rubbish is to black magpie treasure shining white,
through moss, mulch and mud sows snuffle truffles, a tempting bite.
Your kingdom come sees mine as blemish and blight:
when I wake in the morning and wish it be night,
content in loneliness but hope still for someone in sight.
Your kingdom found became my kingdom dropped,
even these rhyming jigsaws don’t always fit my refrain.
Your kingdom come and kingdom arrived and kingdom gold
your kingdom brave and kingdom holy and kingdom bold,
is foil for my kingdom came and kingdom went and kingdom past
my kingdom old and kingdom rusted and kingdom last.
Your kingdom come is nothing like mine - left undone.
Or maybe, your kingdom come is mine fatigued and just… done.
“…don’t fear the reaper,” he said, and I don’t. Why would I?
Such a fate we all share, yes, every single one.
Set in stone and sealed, awaiting Kingdom Come.
However you may enter, each differential circumstance, the difference made is none.
Hands of a ticking clock strike the hour, declaring that time Living here will have reached its end, and our final day be done.
Resting besides those unfortunate less fortunate souls.
Riches remain within rich pockets of inheriting soles, unlike others whose feet are bare and are cold, stand firm on the earth you now lay beneath.
Families of both either benefit or wealth, share eyes the colour red as they heavily weep, the same sadness and the same feelings of heart-aching grief.
Blood bled and bleeding red, layering cuts skin deep, choosing one's self-choices, and ranking bestowed upon by society, mean nothing once we sleep.
To Kingdom Come, shall our destination be ironclad, placing our final sitting seat.
Opposite living and separated by morality.
Yet each for a loved one is waiting to reunite with, and again cross paths they will meet.
KINGDOM COME
The blood runs hot through royal veins
Ready for the throne, and to finally rule
But it has now to be a battle, not a duel
What one pretender loses, another gains
In muddy fields, many lives shall be lost
To raise the standard and claim the prize
Yet it is still kingship but in another guise
It’s a pity the common folk bear the cost
I’ll take the crown and hold up the mace
Assembling all nobles who are true to me
Pledging their loyalty as was meant to be
But some might see suspicion in my face
Ancestral claims should have the final say
This powerful army makes it more certain
Yet I’ll always check behind every curtain
But it first depends on who wins this day
K indness should govern the atmosphere in a kingdom
I ndividuals should be provided equal rights via Law
N obility as well as commoner are well known in Kingdoms
G od instructed Samuel to allow Israel to have a Kingdom
D ivine Rights of Kings never did have wide acceptance in Europe
O beisance to a king never existed nor was ever desired in America
M ost nations of the world appear to prefer Republics over Kingdoms
C hrist taught his disciples to pray for his kingdom to come
O bedience will not be optional in Christ's coming Kingdom
M ankind from everywhere will live in Christ's Kingdom
E very human kingdom will submit to God's coming Kingdom
It’s a race to meet the stars,
It’s beyond the mileage in cars,
We retire in the ambience of the night,
We ponder on how we have walked through the light.
Running against the time,
We hope to see through the gloomy clime,
Hope takes flight in the day,
We search the redemption way.
We don’t understand why some things are beyond us,
We look to a higher force,
One that will ease our fight,
Aid us to walk through the night.
Though the best things in life may be free,
They don't give us the ultimate key,
That’s why we pray for the Lord’s kingdom to come,
Until we transcend the earthly dome.
October 22, 2024.
There in the beauty of eclipsing eyes
Heavy with joy’s tears of sacrifice
Misery’s mahogany merrily replaced
By vindication violets blooming
Despite obvious peach pain
For each hand a silver nail
Each repent loosens
Each sin justifies jail and hammer
Stammering shame of humanity
All for vanity and “justice”
But joy comes in the morning
They strung him high
Whipped his hyde
Pierced his side
While the Father on high looked below
Skies once dark turned bright
Heavens opened up
Forgiven despite sins of the living
It was destined a blessing
From a cursed soul
Bold enough to trade
Silver gold for chosen one
Fulfilling the prophecy
Thorn crown parted hair
Of the Prince of Peace
Kingdom Come
Destined to lead
Hearts ablaze with Holy Spirit leading
The trumpet blast of our lips
God’s kingdom falls and rises
"Let your kingdom come!"
Let your kingdom come we pray,
these words of the Lord's prayer
Are these mere words of fantasy,
left hanging in the air?
Do you understand the meaning,
of "Let your kingdom come"?
It's a petition for God's government,
to rule over everyone!
Millions of times over generations,
these words have been spoken
But, hopes and dreams of a better world,
are left shattered and broken
Is it in vain Jesus taught us to pray
this invocation?
Or will it come in our lifetime and
give birth to celebration?

Knowledge, powerful men

Knowing their prayers are
Kisses on God’s lips. New
Kingdoms come and go like
Kestrels in search of food.
