Kingdom Come

Keepers of the secret
Knowledge, powerful men
Kneel before the altar
Knowing their prayers are
Kisses on God’s lips. New
Kingdoms come and go like
Kestrels in search of food.

Let Thy Kingdom Come

my strength my day
shall not fade away
when i hear
your sweet voice
that ripple
through my soul
each time i pray
you stay with me Lord
here on this earth
oh let thy kingdom come

In Perfect Peace

Lucifer
get
behind thee
because
we
are asking
the Lord
for a
perfect peace
thy will be done
thy kingdom come
on earth
as it is in sweet heaven
that
we
receive
a perfect peace

No - I'M Still Not Happy

I was placed second, third and sixth in contests
does it mean I am happy and don't complain?
Of course not, I will complain till kingdom come
Until sponsors realizes friends poems are plain.

Men Who Sing Out Loud

lightning bolts
from
the
charge of
the
light brigade
march
through
the
clouds
strike the
hearts of men
who
sing out loud
thy
kingdom come
and
thy
will be done
for
of
the
men
who sing out loud

The Second Chance

when promises come along from where my help cometh from when i stray too far from thy kingdom come faith shall return me to the Lord and i plant my feet back on the ground when He gave me the second chance

Kingdom

What kingdom come?
What will be done?

In these four walls
His spirit calls

The church bell rings
The choir sings,

But my walls ache
As body fakes

The acts I do
Are all but new

Lord beat my heart
At this new start

Cold granite warms our folded hands,
     fearsome warriors of intent prayer.
Content not content to stay on
surface, each breath kindles Spirit flare.
Cogency calls kingdom come, tongues
of a few faithful do declare.

Premium Member kingdom come in my sleep

kingdom come in my sleep
While my dream is very deep
Showing me colors I don’t know
Sharing where my soul will go

Heaven is just like I thought
A memory I never sought
Road to paradise aptly taught
I slumber peacefully on my cot

Premium Member I Need

I need the Lord ' I crave his peace
To fall and stay, where trials cease'
Upon the rock, Is Kingdom come
O God forever, most holy One.'
Uphold me Lord, when I do fail
Renew my vision, salute and hail!
Absolve my sprit; Lord sanctify
My own efforts are but a feeble try'

Moses Walked

You can’t think your way to faith,
all reason unadorned

Or speak to what is felt inside,
self-knowledge most forlorn

For those invested time must bow,
a legion unto one

As seas will part and bushes burn
—in rapture’s kingdom come

All of the Glory and the Praises

God
is
a jealous God
and
He
disapproves
of
mankind
desire to
play God
but
there
is
only one God above
who
maketh the world divine
almighty God
is
a self-creation
and
His word is
thy
will be done
thy kingdom come
and
we
must give
Him
all of the
glory and the praises

Lifes Too Short

You never got to draw your first breath
It was taking from you by death
You were your mothers pride and joy
Like a child with a shiny new toy
Why you were taken from us we do not know
We can not see you where you go
These things just seem to happen with some
We will see you both in kingdom come

Who art
In Heaven,
Hallowed be
Thy Name.
Your kingdom come,Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we
forgive those
Who trespass
Against us.
And lead
Us not
Into temptation,
But deliver
Us from

I Am So Glad That I Know You

God's
thy will be done
thy
kingdom come
tis be the right season
i wash thy hands clean
oh
make it personal dear lord
faith and glory
shall
follow me
everywhere
that i go
cover me lord
with
your holy wings
replenish me
more and more
accept me in
your
family lord
and
i am so glad
that
i know you

Stepping Stones

And I am sorry if I hurt you.
But we were balancing on a stepping stone.
One that was beautiful none-the-less

But darling we had kingdoms in our horizons.
That I could not see
From our little stepping stone.

And now,
I am forever grateful to you,
For pushing me away from your chest
And towards my kingdom come.

For Me and Myself I Pray

This is how I pray every day;
My father who is on earth
hail be my name

My kingdom come
my will be done on earth
and everywhere in the blue skies

Give me today my daily cravings
and forgive not my debtors
as I do not forgive any of them

Do not put me to the test of poverty
but deliver me from all wants
let it be as I pray forever

Saint Joan

All males undone
  by the Lady Son

The trumpets blared
  her fire

An Earl first came
  her wrath unchained

To Charles
  her heart aspired

All kingdom come
  to face Lady Son

But to hell
  their souls were laid

As her legend grew
  and from banners flew

The name Joan
  —all hearts to pray

Every Stone Shall Rise

every stone
shall rise
every star
that shine
every night
filled with
sweet stars alive
every word
to be thine
every bell
that we ring
every mountain
that we climb
every story
to be told
every smile
turns to gold
every stone
be uplifted
until thy
kingdom come
yet every word
to be true
can you
feel it too
every stone
shall rise

Hope

Hope

the sun is going down
behind the wood
to call upon the moon
at dawn
and noon
as wise as it could
but the time is gone
for me to go home
and rest upon a stone
and wait for the sun
tomorrow
and unearth memories
of ageing intellect
with passion and hope
as the sun
goes down
and usher me a kingdom come
