Wealth can't buy us peace;
An open heart is priceless
Down all the ages.
Beneath the rippled, sunlit glass,
I rest among the eelgrass blades,
A shadowed world where currents pass
Through quiet, emerald-tinted glades.
A gentle pulse draws in the tide,
Through open folds, the feast is spun;
I sift the sea where currents glide,
And take the bounty of the sun.
A sudden rush—a snapping spark—
I lift and dance upon the floor,
And vanish swiftly in the dark
To settle on the sandy shore.
Here, safe within my textured walls,
Away from cruising shadow’s eye,
Where peace defines the quiet halls,
The rushing world may wander by.
Adorned in ribbed and fluted grace,
Where painted bands of pink align
With lavender across my face,
The ocean's quiet masterpiece—
A living scallop...resting.
A Jewel
A jewel among
Ten thousand tears
One raindrop clear
One drop among a host
Which sends
A spearing shaft
Of purest crystal light
The low shine
Of a winter’s sun
Suspended in a liquid lens
On the leafless thorn.
Dear poet, with a deep sense of humility,
I dare reply to your memorable verse,
“Where Without Whom,” a jewel of the mind.
Perhaps, your noble steps did stroll astray,
Treading the forest, where no breath of kin resides,
Chasing your soul, where no shine of sun sheens,
Where the breeze don`t whisper on leaves a name,
Where the dead quietude has prompted you
To carve a gem that will glow across time
And blow with warm wondrous winds across space.
Lovers promenade as sun sets in mid-july
Opalescent jewel tones kissed across the sky

dark eyes of jewel twinkle on her finger
September’s birthstone, a gift from her lover
she has no idea he murdered his wife for it
spring paints earth with stunningness -
man gets high from her brushes jeweled touch

Jewel Fire
Flames of deep amber glint in topaz fire
Crystal facets smolder in conflagration's hunger
Then flash in sparks of golden flares
Light's impassioned blaze set free
In endless fireflies of whimsy.
Golden sands stretch to the sky,
Whispers of history ride the wind.
Minarets and modern towers rise,
A harmony of past and present.
Souks hum with colors and spice,
Voices of culture, rich and alive.
In every street, in every dune,
Qatar’s heart beats strong and bright.
The sea sparkles beneath the sun,
Dreams and ambition sail together.
Here, in this desert jewel,
Tomorrow meets tradition hand in hand.
You are a treasure to me
A very rare and precious jewel
A remarkable stone that I will place as the centerpiece of a crown
For all to see it’s worth
For, from its cuts only the finest light illuminates
Its core so deep it fathoms any ocean
Its color is that of emotion
And it’s quality - FLAWLESS
This crown I will place upon my head with honor and pride
For it is through your worth
That I can see my own
Baffling bright jewel
scattering lone, graceful dance
wisdom rays of mind
Destiny..It lies before you'
Australia fair advance always
It can't be taken, not like ground.)
It cannot be purchased, you can't
Be gazumped, my advice is sound
Stand as ANZACS.' Do not flinch.'
Gather your strength, laugh and wink
Scorn the (wokester globalist scum)
Its time now..Comes the hour.'
Stand strong, all you true blues; as one.!!!
A young crow carries them-
selves meticulously, screening
their surroundings. Too wary
to engage with others, but
always so observant.
A golden jewel shines in a
parking lot corner. Tempting
the young crow’s eyes. Their
bill clutches on, fragile by
nature, it breaks.
Glass shards pierces their
tongue, blood cascades on-
to the concrete as the jewel
dismantles. Remnants of a
once pretty rock remain.
Lackluster caws transcends to
inconspicuous woes through
menacing thunder circulating
the floaters, ignoring their
cries.
Drizzles of rain deafening
continuous yelp, a dash of
salt soaking their insides,
their shadow scatters
far away.
Sign of new tomorrows?
The old ones may just say.
Agony, pain, sore sorrows!
Doubt, dread and dismay!
Wilted flower, came the rain?
Death, ye did disdain!
Thunderbolts across the main!
Blighted by the bane!
Soar above us, carrion crow!
Dappled light, thy roe...
Weathervane, point well to woe?
Reap just what ye sew.
Thus in springtime, new and strong.
Elders, ye belong?
O for heroes without song!
Sin's light, scuppernong...
Aim for hearts, O Cupid?
Well, sir, that's just my job.
Prisoner, enjoy thy bid!
Burglar, time to rob!
Rabid fire in darkness burn!
Hail, O sacred sight!
Tamarind a-taciturn!
Poison, photon, plight!
Jewel whom the hard sun off shone;
Surface yours: as bone?
O volcano, seen thy cone?
Debtor, care to loan?
Flickering the flame in fall?
Yes, and here is why:
Funeral, cast well thy pall!
Treacherous to try!
Gold long by prospectors sought;
Sparks of life were wrought?
Deadly venom, often bought?
Foreign wars a-fought!
Cold the coals of chaos!
Forever smolder bright!
Dancing stars of fine-flung gloss!
Reign eternal, Night!
Africa,
The undiluted genealogy of humanity and humility
The undisputed abode of nature
Surrounded by wild bushes, forests, winding rivers,
Uncountable mountains, endless valleys, sacred hills
And unasailable caves
The breeding ground for crocodiles, Gorilla's, Lions, Buffalo's
And unquantifiable exotic animals
The domicile of moonlight tales;
Tales laced with valor and splendor
Africa,
Where the stars and the moon defiantly compete
To outshine, and out manoeuver each other
And Sunshine and rain are a constant menace
The home of Kings and Queen's
Where the resonance of unquenchable laughter
Mimics the reverberating clap of thunder
Drowning and submerging the echoes of war and famine
Like a sinking submarine.
