Lovers promenade as sun sets in mid-july
Opalescent jewel tones kissed across the sky

Love
Is the unblemished jewel
on
the crown of humanity!

I don't need a diamond
and I dont need a pearl
cause God gave me a jewel;
my precious lil girl!

dark eyes of jewel twinkle on her finger
September’s birthstone, a gift from her lover
she has no idea he murdered his wife for it
Jewel of a friend.
Still, gemstones can be broken.
Bestest friend I had.
Our words once left unspoken
Still making me beyond sad.
The
romance
of his life-
city of his
dreams-
a
fairy

a lyrical
light.

facets and karats
shining, sparkling, dazzling,
in a ring or in a pendant
showing up and showing off
regal and royal
from the mines
Underground sparkling stones birth and mature;
Precious rocks to be cherished;
Look, they split the lights rays.
I am the rushing river
and the enormous ocean.
I am the tree in the wood
and the wood of the tree.
I am the lotus, and I am the jewel.
Form:
Scratches on the jewel surface
of a black onyx watch
tiny hands tick endlessly around
now seven, now eight, now ten
Can you break the cycle?
at midnight
when the moon
glows bright
she rises
from the depths
bearing
aquamarine
jewels
from the sea

nature's lace up for the taking
a sunray glorifying leaf, stick, pebble and cloud
in my eye each precious jewels

Jewel
this dusky Jewel does of my heart
a mares nest make, sweet mercenary pomps
and fine gelid limbs these eyes ensnared, a frigid waste her love for me.

finely crafted gem
bright golds and expensive stones
far down, tucked away
underneath the ditched mountain
Sparkles and shines as a blaze
Gadabout butterflies
glitter like red sunset.
Gem sparkles in the west.
Gracious nature provides
glamour hues in winter.
Glad robin sings, lustrous.
Goodbye, last robustness.
The Jewel of the show was the beauty
That they all could not wait to see
Her mammaries were of the kind
That would never leave the mind
And make all "wish they belonged to me!"
Precious jewel,
That'd be a Ruby,
Red like life-blood,
And a treasure to see,
There are diamonds,
there's gold,
but from what I'm told
The Ruby rules the roost,
And she's a poet to boost!
A common stone in the middle of the street
Does not draw attention even if they step on it
But a precious jewel hidden from sight
Is chased by fanatics even in depth of night

A Jewel
A jewel among
Ten thousand tears
One raindrop clear
One drop among a host
Which sends
A spearing shaft
Of purest crystal light
The low shine
Of a winter’s sun
Suspended in a liquid lens
On the leafless thorn.
Your Shadow
Your “shadow” falls across my heart
I hope we’ll never have to part
Open up your life “gate” wide
So, I can with you abide
You are the “jewel” of my eye
Let me be your favorite guy
Or I will “mutter” cry and sigh
A jewel thief named Jimmy from Nevada
Stole rings from mobster Pablo's old grandma
Jimmy thought he'd better run
Pablo caught him and had fun
Now Jimmy has all his meals through a straw.

Mrs. Brown you've got a lovely jewel there,
Jewels like her are something rare...
She can't disguise it,
Ruby's red eyes show "blues" in it,
Fred, you wanna add the refrain?
Don't worry about Herman & pals-
They're all hermit crabs now-a-days.
