No news is good news, they say
I thoroughly agree
I had no news today
No news is good to see
Old news remain the same
As always and before
But I don’t play that game
I qualify no more
I read the items labels
I need to know the truth
How much of carbohydrates
They’re selling me to use
I watch the youtube travels
Without a sound, just views
No mysteries unraveled
That is the best of news
I’m playing cards with AI
I’m reading books I’ve read
I don’t exploit my eyesight
With other people’s bread
And other people’s wine
Which I will never taste
Because I’ve some of mine
My little news to waste.
People enjoy going to craft shows
There are plenty of vendors around
They will sell their products here
With stalls loaded with items to sell
Just walk around and take a look
Go from table to table to check out
See what is out there from vendors
You'll neve know what what you'll find
It could be something you need
Or for yourself to enjoy
It could be a gift for a special friend
Go search the vendors stalls to see
It could be stain glass pieces
To hang on the mirror or window
On the window the sun will shine through
Put it on the mirror it will shine through
Showing the pretty colors shine
Stain glass comes in different shapes
The stain glass items calling you
To hang on the window so the sun
shines therough
When the Spring season comes
All the closets get changed
Tossing out worn out clothes
They are no longer needed
Or clothes that don't fit
Unwanted ornaments
A pile of books read
Toys collecting dust
All unwanted items
Donated to Good Will
Priced right for people
To use and enjoy
Its better to donate
Then to throw away
Items folks can enjoy
It brightens their day
The Line Items
There is a list on my desk,
Another one is on the refrigerator.
It is all the things that I need to do.
It is not short by any means.
You probably have one too…?
Perhaps you left yours in the car?
In a jar? (of pickles to ferment)
In the doctor’s office on the chair…
because you no longer care.!
I understand.
Too, well.
As you read this believe,
We are now in truthful agreement…
Take my hand.
Say this…out loud, “…”
(to yourself if you like, He hears regardless.)
Okay… you now have all that you need.
Your organization has changed,
as your direction is now due “North.”
Israel is in the distance, and life is now in focus.
No more lists…
Okay…for groceries…that is it…
Now start a prayer journal instead.
An offering of others to “Him”, loved ones and strangers…
If this is all new to you, let me begin, for you,
So we together…
can organize each other,
as to the value of forever!
Amen.
I thought I would share some of my favorite items that I use frequently. They are materialistic and in all honestly most I could live without! Whoopie pies are a dessert that resembles two chocolate cake like cookies with cream in the middle.

My morning cup of coffee, as steamy hot as I can get it!
My rose gold apple iPhone in its pink case
My Netflix subscription, Dead to Me is a great new series!
Bath and Body Mango Mandarin body wash and cream
A weekly whoopie pie indulgence, I know I really need to stop!
Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee 1-2 times a week!
My cover girl eyeliners and mascara, makes me feel pretty!
My many purses that I have to match outfits and seasons.
Costume jewelry, especially my black spinel collection
My comfy t-shirts and shorts I change into after a long day at work!
My croc sandals, the most important part of my home wardrobe!
My favorite Kate Spade water cup I use every evening for my lemon ice water
My kindle fire to play candy crush on and scope out Facebook

Contest: Writing Challenge 3, July 2019 - List
Sponsor: Dear Heart
If my house was on fire
I would grab some attire
To go outside in the nude
Would be considered rude!
If my house was on fire
One thing I would require
Would be my mobile phone
I’d call my hubby and moan
If my house was on fire
The item I’d most desire
Would be my laptop
Else my writing would stop
If my house was on fire
Yellow flames going higher
I’d grab my wedding ring
All my jewelry and bling
If my house was ablaze
I’d search through the haze
To grab my passport
Useful for the airport
If my house was full of smoke
It would not be a joke
I’d grab my new purse
No cash or keys would be a curse
If my house was burning
I would be quite discerning
I’d take a box of hair dye
Stray gray hairs I must deny!
Seven things you would save contest

She surrounded herself
With favorite things,
Shiny, pretty, happy items
They made her smile.
When they got to be too many,
She began hanging them by strings
Until they filled the ceilings and
The walls. This made her dance.
Her husband built her a barn,
And she filled it with even more glorious things
Bigger things. Furniture that made her laugh.
When she moved to a smaller house
She tried to take it all with her.
She ended up living among boxes,
Existing in pathways.
She lost her husband and her mind.
So people came and took the pretties away.
On the way out her grandson turned and
Handed her an angel with a glittered halo.
She smiled again.
wife has given a list of few items to buy

Oh, those darned things are
Never there when I need them!
Always somewhere else.
Usually left idle
In that moment I forget.
Views on life are highly slanted
When you take it all for granted
Thinking that material things
And the happiness they bring
Is the only way to be
Fulfilled, glad and oh so happy
But you need to change your ways
Every hour of each day
Is already passing by
You should look around and try
No notice things can be nicer
If you were a little wiser
With the attitude and notions
You don't need the tender motion
Of something real and true
Wood, steel, fabric and glue
Make things that;s sold in stores
Decorating walls and floors
But what is the purpose of
Nice things with no one to love
Blankets keep you cozy warm
But can't hold you in a storm
Wrapping arms tightly around
Cheering you up when your down
Music coming from big speakers
A love tune that always seeks her
Heart for singing a duet
But your are dense and clueless
Pictures hanging big and tall
Covering each room of walls
But their fake inside a seal
No lovers face that's true and real
Think about what I am saying
Soon you'll be happily laying
Next to someone alive in 3D
Loving and caring she'll be
This little wristwatch is worth a look see.
On the face is a picture of Hopalong Cassidy.
Here is a Topps rookie card of Mike Schmidt.
Over five hundred home runs he hit.
This is John and Yoko on a vinyl forty-five.
Unfortunately, the man is no longer alive.
Here is a little something of antiquity.
It is an 1895 Indian Head penny.
This is a German Luger pistol from World War II.
It has authenticity that is true.
You have to admit all these items are nice.
If you are interested, just name your price.
I miss you,
little dark splinter
rolled up by
the light that shines behind
my bad eye:
and when it snowed,
and when it rained-
into the sea
all you had to do was pick up and ride:
bare out the freeze.
I'm squatting homemade
mud paths;
It's all no good.
How can we not be helping you?
There's so much love for you.
So,
I can't stay
forever,
In blood ribbons-
I'll tug on,
worry and brave.
No tyranny
to the youth
still stuck
under my grubby nails.
Please,
Forgive me,
If I'm to lose
a few items.
