She came to a peaceful, shimmering pond
and took out her pearl-handled witches wand.
"Make me beautiful as the swan who slides
on your calm surface as she smoothly glides."
Since that day, at toll booths she doesn't pay,
and, at intersections, gets the right of way.

Look Up

The many intersections of life
obscured in complexity
Go left or go right
 to stay or move on

The interchange of salvation
whose overpass eludes us
An escape of transcendence
— most never find

Imperfect Perfection

You were made perfect in his eyes so see the
beauty in your flaws
The source of your power is inside so go within
so you can draw
You're a work of art & you evolve when you recognize
natural law
Mother nature is a caring parent that tends to love
despite the flaws
We're made flawed so we can grow toward the image
of perfection
The plans were drawn in a dark room before you came
way before your conception
This intercourse at intersections paved the road for your
newest inceptions
This resulted in the word becoming flesh as you
embraced the act of resurrection
The living word is perfection despite the appearance
of what is seen
Your life is lucid when you're awake but even more
clear in your dreams
We make things more difficult than need be as life
is more simple than it seems
We embody the earth as well as spirit so there's
space to be anchored in your dreams

Judas

Betrayal's kiss was liquidly subtle, wet with firm
intuition
It's knowing lips soft & unassuming exuded
an aura of lust
Full of temptation it beckoned me portraying
illusions of trust,
but behind the mask were sharp teeth seeking
bloody incisions
The intimacy came with bad intentions closely
guarding its actions,
but being adjacent afforded insight into its
deadliest passions
My reaction were firewalls to be erected
at once,
as I stood in the middle of 2 pillars pondering
destruction of fronts
The aforementioned affront was spoken of to
the deepest of mind,
but was ignored as toxic venom intoxicated
the mind
The silver lining? A coined phrase hanging
like ropes from a tongue
"Make sure that you look before you leap" as more
betrayals will come
The warning was heeded so I escaped by the
skin of my teeth,
as the streets watched the intersections speaking
of the fate I would meet
In the end, I was delivered from the mouth of
the beast, emerging with mindset
firmly intact
I was meat, but indigestible because my peace
brought equilibrium back

Alcatraz

I am in the Alcatraz of my room,
where loneliness is endless
and dreams bounce off all the walls and back.
Never passing through the window into
the streets of letdown dreams.
I would come out to meet you,
but there are too many intersections
and I always cross against the light.
Please come to my room and we will
watch the world through window glass.
And if we become afraid
we will pull down the shade
and I will build you sandcastles on
distant shores, and I will
fly the kite of dreams to Disneyland
and back, and if it rains,
I will paint the sun on your face,
for all this would you love me?

words are...
thought-road norms with

a built-in radar as...
the met-a-four lane-gauge

for under standing bridges...
and the intersections that sent-tense

stans sand

Passing Ships

He couldn’t recall an event
Or a time or even a place
Somehow he knew he knew
That approaching smiling face.
A night of flowing drinks
A night of many toasts
A night of copious alcohol
Supplied by generous hosts

A night of drunken wandering
Strange street intersections
Of turning left instead of right
A night off wrong directions.
Welcoming arms
To his surprise
To be replaced
By moans and sighs.

Coming suddenly awake in
A strange love wrecked bed
A fast emerging hangover
Pounding through his head.
Not his house
Not his room
An awful sense of
Impending doom.

The act of quietly dressing
To creep down a strange stair
Unobserved she watched him
Emerge into crisp morning air.
A night of unbridled passion
Of giving and taking
A night of unexpected and
Passionate love making

Silently she’d watched the stranger
As he disappeared from her sight
Contentedly musing on those
Ships that pass in the night.
Now he’d returned her smile
Though not knowing why
And the moment was gone
As they passed each other by.

Premium MemberAlong a Life Path

Life is a series of intersecting streets and avenues
We have many opportunities to turn left or right,
To stop and visit vast numbers of enticing venues.

We make choices along a life path of fight or flight
At intersections we stop, go, or proceed with caution,
We have many opportunities to turn left or right.

If we make prudent choices our lives can be awesome
When we are guided by sound values and principles,
At intersections we stop, go, or proceed with caution.

Sometimes guided and mentored by fine examples
Starting with our parents, then teachers, and friends
When we are guided by sound values and principles.

Comes the time when we seemingly face a dead end,
We have no one from which to seek sound advice
Starting with our parents, then teachers, and friends.

And how we followed the road will have to suffice
Life is a series of intersecting streets and avenues,
We have no one from which to seek sound advice
To stop and visit vast numbers of enticing venues.

Breakfast At the Truck Stop

intersections of highways where lives intersect
conversations with waitress beg more conversation
spelling the moment a morning spell
waking softly the countryside awakens
sun through window the calling of early sun
promise of a day filled with promise
beginnings rise from endings as the day begins
boundless hope visions of horizons unbound
stories countless stories
and passages and
enlightened journey to light

Sound is vibration
begets round sound,
random noise,
white nuances,
dark soulful nights,
symphonic nests,
harmonic intersections

Organic macrolife is self and other,
ego and eco, empowerment
begets unvoiced
prevoiced
voiced
revoiced
nonvoiced enculturing love
choice

For love is God's great goddess power
begets compassion between faithful passion tribes
of trees,
toads,
turtles,
thistles,
thunder,
testimonies,
civil teas

Regenerating energy
resounding vibrant co-relational
responsive co-passions
responsible correlations

In-between rhythms
vibrating round patterned sound
of EarthDay powers
of light systemic synergy.

Premium MemberBridges of the Past

Bridges of the past crossing my mind
reminding me of leisure rides, once mine
While a fine fine sun coated my yearning desires
I flew into the stormy spaces of a wide open world;
Polka dot dresses, sunglasses of yellow
Elizabeth Arden lipstick and lemonade kisses
You were always at my side, tanned and beautiful
fresh as linen by the covet of the sea;

Sandcastle dreams and sailboat rides
beneath the boardwalk, promises made with pride
Junctions, intersections, passages never to be reversed
I recall soaking in the stars, cradled in the sand
swaddled with the cautery and charms;

A bridge was crossed, and when I count
the things I've lost,
you come to mind,
a ship at sea, searching for its ghost.

Premium MemberCrosswalks Hallelujah Brings-

I crossed the streets at the intersections in life
There are many directions
I turned left I do wrong I sin
I turn right I'm at peace I'm at home with Jesus and God
For in my heart and spirit of mind with God
There are no need for any traffic lights
There are no need for any stop signs in heaven
When I leave my mansion to go Praise My Lord and King
I walk forward toward the crosswalks Hallelujah brings

Part of me longs to reside in
a high functioning
win/win cooperative community
of resilient left hemisphere,
resonant right hemisphere,
polypathic/polyphonic communion.

Part of egoself-care wisdom
and longing
feels drawn toward eremetical asylum
more than gregarious shared sanctuary;
to solitude,
peace
ease
natural sounds and sights,
green new/old deals,
relationships
communications
communions of egalitarian interdependence,
more internally holistic intersections
noticing sacred global beauty
in local experiential truths
mundanely secular.

Yet the best part of my internal ecosystemic awareness
wants both,
wants Earth's all,
longs for cutting edge win/win communion,
healthiest wealth,
resilient resonance
restoring ego/eco co-investments,
just truth and beautiful mercies,
graced bounty,
synergetic integrity,
robust democracy of healthy hermits.

Too unneedy greedy,
the sound of two co-arising hands
not clapping,
I unrealistically realize
longing in belonging.

Universal Laws

at one
of the many
intersections
in the multiverse

i quickly
shifted my
car in reverse
having just passed

a parking
space back
in nineteen
twenty three

but i knew
it was a ticketable
offense to park diagonally
in a parallel universe

Premium MemberCriss-Cross

The path of life is criss-crossed
with many intersections:

A fork in the road forces you
to choose a diversion:
Ahead Left or
Ahead right.

A T-junction has a Stop Sign.
Look Right, Look Left,
No way forward,
Choose one or the other.

The U turn offers a way back
to unwind and retrace.

The Detour is a diversion,
a time-out for reflection.

The Slip Road offers a way
into, or out of, the rat race.

At a Cross Road there are three choices:
Left, Right, or then again:
Straight Ahead,
Steady as she goes.

The Overpass is a cop out,
dodging the Cross Road decision.
