Ya'll Need to See it

The core explosion is due September in the sky!
A supernova T Coronea Boralis to lite the
skies of earth. The remeant of a once larger star.
Once in a lifetime event. A red Giant anda white dwarf.
reaccurring once every eieghty years: the show
will be featured seen from earth.................
Will a blackhole occur during the supernova?
Collapsing onto it self as the two intermingle.
To cause a spectical in the sky?
Doubtful but what an oppurtunity to
be super romantic.
What a specail time to
be with someone you love!

  Should priests get married
    It depends what they do

  If they counsel mostly marrieds
    then priests should be too

While a church of congregants single
~ Be wary of priests who intermingle

Premium Member Color Drop Duplex

Colors drop, intermingle, and pop;
A waterfall of prismatic raindrops;

     A downpour of prismatic raindrops
        bring focus to a filmy mosaic;

See clearly a complicated mosaic
brushed with Earth’s salty tears;

     Highlighting spectacular tears,
     zig zags paint an umbrella’s design;

Crestfallen streaks an umbrella design
 adding a flare of desolation and style;

Thunder loudly echos it’s own style,
     bold reminder to always amplify;

Tempestuous storm fades just to amplify;
Colors drop, intermingle, and pop.

A Poem Is Born

When the sunsets,
And birds fly back to home,
In crimson light,
I hold my pen to make a sketch.
But on these pages
You appear, my dear,
I kiss your intoxicated eyes,
A poem is born.

Creativity and stolen kisses
Spark the scenery,
Hugs and whispers intermingle
With penned verses,
A poem is born.

The canvas of twilight
Becomes our sanctuary,
Where emotions flow freely,
And love becomes the ink
That paints our story,
A poem is born

With each stroke of my pen,
I etch your essence onto the page,
Capturing the beauty of our connection,
A testament to the love
That blossoms in the twilight,
Where poetry and passion dance,
A poem is born.

My Children

It is not how much I have gathered
Through my honest work or even greed
In the end possessions won't matter
But what flowers from each planted seed
I wanted them to have all my heart
And leave no part of my love unused
Give them an easier place to start
Let them find their own dreams to pursue
I wonder will they remember well
The lessons that I have tried to teach
Those things that I tried to gently tell
To show that hope is within their reach
To show them not to stand on the stage
Instead intermingle with the crowd
Always have the want to turn the page
Be the one of whom they could be proud
They’re the footprints that I leave behind
They will be my only legacy
They will be the story brought to mind
When my grandchildren remember me

Premium Member Harmonious

Harmonious is not a horrid homogenized concoction,
pulsed and blitzed in a blender mixer,
until the notes and flavors meld and gel set.
Instead it is a polyphonic pitch ensemble,
a juxtaposition of notes in counterpoint.
Chords, sounds, glissando's and voices
all intermingle as individuals,
balancing consonance and dissonance
in harmony.

When your world goes way out of tune,
discordant in cacophony,
clanging with noisy chaotic strife!
Get your harpsichord re-tuned afresh,
to sound notes of love, true blue, not bluesy bent.
Then your soul can be harmonious again
in rhythmic syncopating jam sessions,
adlibbing with your soul mates,
in a potpourri of flavors, savored
harmonious.

Grisper's Groove

Neosoul and swing a melonic groove
is how she fashioned his music.
A term of endearment.
They styled the ollabartions
from words
one word supported
the other.
A circa when with the lyrics.
A rich bold bassey groove to some songs.
And a strict snap and turn dance ska for the lovers of dance..
when the whoomps and the strings intermingle
with the woodwinds and brasses.
People jump from there seats
and be shaking there a$ses type music. Inspiration from
the orcheastras eagerness to
show how great they are. Some people look
at inspiration from
not finding the right thing to say.
But these cats walk on hot tin roofs barefooted
knowing what to do.. Bluestone Funk!
Sweet romance with no broken heart type
movements.
grooving to the groove makes
love songs that much appealling. Smile at you defeat
knowing your time is coming. Wear that strap Champion and
shake your thang at your reseption.

Premium Member Why Do Poets Do It

Mix the meters
Color the cadence
Intermingle the breaks of line
Torture the iambs
Scent the flowers
Tint the edges of sunrise
Mellow the moonbeams
Offer an invitation
A subtle “come hither”
Of mystery
Slowly close the door
As you are drawn
Into inky shadows
Left alone
To fathom
The cut, fit and drape
Of garments
Woven with words
Stitched with secrets

Taking the vaccine for shingles
Two shot series, not a single
They say the second more than tingles
Makes you not want to intermingle
That’s okay, I’ll write a jingle
About an empty can of Pringles

Premium Member Shakespeare In 2023

Should I assume the human form of Shakespeare? Nay!
Though in my works, of that great soul, much I might say...!
Should he happen to come into my human form?
Will I to his storm-like poetic norm conform...?

I will, yet, feel like an avatar by him sent,
What his thought on illusory life, now, is meant;
Do facts and fancies, in writing, intermingle?
Do rhymes of truth and falsehood together jingle...?

Are our mirages, myths, and truths tightly inter-knit?
Do we, about every creature's life, care a bit?
Do we applaud virtues born with and by way gained?
What use of a poem that, within words, is chained...?

The irony, image, symbolism... he used free,
Each could, within his unsaid words, hidden truths see;
Iambic pentameter did bombard so far,
Shook hands with each genre that stood, then, highest par...!

I see my Soup friends immerse and emerge from these,
By each word, form and figures bear poems at ease;
Our pens, like dear Shakespeare's, I know, will never cease,
Unless and until, in our graves, we Rest In Peace...!!!

Premium Member Riding On Hopes and Dreams

Hope and dreams both reside in me
One has patience while the latter grows wings
Hope is that feeling that sees me through
Dreams are cherished ideas in different hues!
Does hope intermingle in dreams among beds of flowers?
Does time let hope hide within it hours?
Or do dreams soar at night and gain some powers?
Or does hope hum as those honey bees sing?
Or are dreams born in the spring?
Does hope trudge along a rugged trail?
Or do my dreams soar on a dragons tail?
Or will hope allow me not to fail?
Or will my dreams be broken by the wind that tosses
my sail?
Will hope then pick up those broken pieces?
And join all of those dreams floating in shards
And pat my dreams and put me to bed?
Or when I awake my hope and dreams be
As thick as partners in crime instead!

Old Age

I don't know whether
ignorance can grow
but wisdom can
for many years
it has been
to the credit of facts
and redound to
longer experiences
even common experience
is not an exception
then why not is it ...
Rome was not built a day
nor this smoke rising
to be completed today
even though the state
is curious and cunning
oh! love still needs time
and years to intermingle
through.

The Crossroads

No one understands the personal battles.
No one knows that pain
That I go through every single day.
Darkness constantly attacking my brain.

I go through thoughts that would make
The common man insane.
On my own to the point where my
Imagination created its own domain.

Targeted and picked on because I don’t drink
Or engage with champagne.

But that’s beside the point.

They criticize me when I complain.
I legitimize what I sustain.

People tried to make it rain
When I couldn’t make it sprinkle.
People live their lives in vain
While I live mine just single.
Some men dream to run a train.
I dreamed to be the shingle
To complete the roof over the heads
Of my generation so that the
Truth could intermingle.

And....

Forget it.
