Premium Member Esoteric Wisdom

Solomon’s internal ears; absorbing esoterica. Quaternal energies intermingle; feeding the king’s soul. The tree of life bears the fruit of wisdom; few students are ready.

Premium Member Hanging Out My Shingle

Taking the vaccine for shingles
Two shot series, not a single
They say the second more than tingles
Makes you not want to intermingle
That’s okay, I’ll write a jingle
About an empty can of Pringles

  Should priests get married
    It depends what they do

  If they counsel mostly marrieds
    then priests should be too

While a church of congregants single
~ Be wary of priests who intermingle

Premium Member Man Moves On

Perpetually
stars intermingle
with the universe
creation deathless
like the wide blue sea.

Cosmic order
continuous
in harmony
alone with God

The prophet
predicts man
in ‘Star ships’

invades
God’s own

Help!

Love might seem innocent today
Shadows intermingle
Whole ;

Testimony will give this bay
As years pass in jingle
One soul .

In Calling

Than to intermingle the
     Soul and there is no
Calling much higher
    Than a man
Of indignation who
Must consume the fire
   In order that he
Can elevate him-self
      To a place
Where the call return's
Him to the course of
     Correction
Restored to his righful
         Place

Premium Member A Splash of Color

Just a splash of color on a rotting stump; golden waves of pigment spread on a brown canvas. Orange spatters intermingle with yellow polka-dots and the newborn smiles highlighting the essence. Happiness is a blossom of pigments in nature; a time-lapse painting, lightening the heart.

Fictitious Articulation

A faux pas meant to be funny
a complicated compliment
undressing the address

Words intermingle
suspending the single

Ghosts masked in the past
hypocrisy lasts
living a lie
tears in the sky

Explaining the unexplainable
a throne unattainable
reprecussions released
a mindset at ease

Lay down your pen
surrender's at hand

Social Misfit By: Tom Wright 8/10/00 I don't intermingle much Not born or bred to be, But became this way. Out of Satan's clutch, I'll remain what you see, This, I'll bravely say. My comfort zone, A bottomless rut, A mundane life to most. But some are prone, to cause feelings in my gut, not becoming of a host.

Sundae Spice

Do you remember
the first time we met?
I do: it was on a warm
sundae afternoon.

There were gales
of mischief and glee
all around, each cradling
a clear plastic bag,

with a treat of tumbleweed
trying to escape the rim:
banana, toffee or
vanilla flavoured

cotton candy; or
were they woolly fibres -
similar to the strands that
intermingle in your felted hair?

A Promise of Life

The gates of the heavens pour their light out upon the earth during this star filled night.
Dark red and molten gold light flows down to intermingle into an embrace... a circle of dancing trees move with this evening's gentle breeze.
God pours His love out to recharge His creation with the splendor and the color of hope of the life yet to come.

Old Age

I don't know whether
ignorance can grow
but wisdom can
for many years
it has been
to the credit of facts
and redound to
longer experiences
even common experience
is not an exception
then why not is it ...
Rome was not built a day
nor this smoke rising
to be completed today
even though the state
is curious and cunning
oh! love still needs time
and years to intermingle
through.

Premium Member Why Do Poets Do It

Mix the meters
Color the cadence
Intermingle the breaks of line
Torture the iambs
Scent the flowers
Tint the edges of sunrise
Mellow the moonbeams
Offer an invitation
A subtle “come hither”
Of mystery
Slowly close the door
As you are drawn
Into inky shadows
Left alone
To fathom
The cut, fit and drape
Of garments
Woven with words
Stitched with secrets

Back of Boat Cold So Grabbed Coat

Back of Boat Cold So Grabbed My Coat

Had been very cold in back of boat,
So what I to do was  grab my coat;
In bad weather caught,
And one I had brought,
That was my idea no longer remote.

You have to intermingle positive with
a negative to end up in exact middle.
While fire burned when you did fiddle,
Searched around,
For a soft sound,
We were there giving a delicate diddle.

Premium Member The Reef

Turtle cruises the reef, turquoise warm in the sun; tendrils of coral stretch to sup filtered light. Butterflyfish and Tang intermingle amid coral polyps, that are plentiful appetizers for this party. As sponges get their rays, a seahorse uncoils and jettisons itself just overhead of a yawning mussel. I giggle to myself as an angelfish kisses my goggles and swim beneath the belly of turtle; awed at the Crayola chroma essence that delights my spirit.
